Chapter 055: The Inhuman Mr. Ye & Wen Lang Seeks Advice
Upholding a spirit of diligent study and never giving up, Su Tang successfully ensured that Ye Chiyu, who was in his Rut, didn’t need suppressants for the last day.
The Alpha, having tasted sweetness after the little Omega’s proactive feeding, lost control that night. Aside from feeding the little thing some food and letting him go to the bathroom in the middle, he didn’t give his little Omega any other time to breathe.
Su Tang lost count of how many times he passed out in the Alpha’s arms during those dozen or so hours. Ye Xiansheng hadn’t lied to him; when an Alpha in his Rut got serious, it could really take his little life away.
His waist and legs didn’t seem to belong to him anymore. His whole body felt powerless, as if his bones had been removed. He groggily slept and woke, and the moment the Alpha discovered he was awake, he would start kissing his eyes and nose tip, red from crying, coaxing and deceiving with sweet words before acting like a beast again.
Ye Xiansheng in his Rut was simply a refined scumbag!
Su Tang was tossed about by the Alpha until he didn’t have a shred of strength left in his body. He couldn’t even cry anymore, so he could only silently curse Ye Xiansheng is a beast in his heart.
Regret was useless now; he had asked for this. Su Tang wished he could turn back time to the car rideāif only he hadn’t asked Ye Chiyu to lower the partition to greet the fans, boohoohoo…
It wasn’t until past seven in the evening the next day that Su Tang woke up for the Nth time. The Alpha, who would usually entangle him and demand more, was finally not beside him. The sheets, duvet cover, and his pajamas had all been changed. Su Tang didn’t even have the strength to move a finger; he tilted his head listlessly, eyes half-open, wanting to find his Ye Xiansheng.
Too bad. Su Tang pouted his little mouth and hummed a dissatisfied note, completely bullied miserably by the inhuman Alpha.
His body was simply too exhausted. Less than a minute after waking up, Su Tang started to feel tired again. Just as he was about to close his eyes and continue sleeping, the bedroom door was pushed open from the outside.
In this house, who else could it be but Ye Xiansheng!
Su Tang began to struggle against his heavy eyelids, feeling indignant and aggrieved, and started whining and crying out in pain at the Alpha who entered carrying a tray.
“Be good, I’ve already applied medicine for you. It won’t hurt in a few days.”
Ye Chiyu carefully placed the tray of food on the bedside table and gently lifted the pitiful little guy from the bed onto his lap, wanting to feed Su Tang something.
With his Tangtangās vigorous assistance, he had finally passed his Rut. The heaviness and fatigue in his body had been swept away; Ye Chiyu could be described as radiant.
In contrast, Su Tang was simply too miserable. He was a mess, and his brain wasn’t functioning quite right. Held in the Alpha’s arms, Su Tang was complaining one second, and the next, he obediently opened his mouth for the spoonful of pumpkin soup Ye Chiyu had blown cool and brought to his lips.
Su Tang liked sweets. A large bowl of pumpkin soup, carefully boiled with cream, soon hit the bottom. Ye Chiyu touched the little guy’s bulging tummy and stopped the feeding.
“Ye Xiansheng, I still want to eat…”
He hadn’t even eaten the bowl of matcha pudding on the side. Leaning in the Alpha’s arms, mist immediately filled Su Tang’s beautiful eyes. Anxiously, he tried to tug at Ye Xiansheng‘s sleeve.
But his stamina was truly overdrawn and bottomed out. When the Alpha first helped him sit up, he had secretly taken a moment to adjust to the low blood sugar without saying anything, fearing Ye Xiansheng would worry.
Now, even a simple action like pulling a sleeve made his vision go black. Pale-faced, he closed his eyes and leaned into Ye Chiyu’s embrace, his beautiful brows furrowed as he gasped for breath. It took a good while before his long eyelashes trembled and he opened his eyes.
Ye Chiyu was indeed frightened by such a weak Su Tang. Fortunately, he calmed down quickly enough. Speaking softly, he comforted Su Tang, saying that eating more would cause indigestion which was bad for the stomach, and asked him to rest early and have a good sleep, okay?
So Su Tang really fell back asleep peacefully in the Alpha’s arms just like that; he was quite easy to coax.
He had lost control last night and tormented the person quite a bit.
Gently tucking the little guy back under the covers, Ye Chiyu raised his hand to lovingly stroke Su Tang’s slightly pale face, and had Qi Yuan call the private doctor they had decided to hire last time.
The doctor’s surname was He, named He Xu. He was over thirty, wearing a pair of silver-rimmed glasses, looking very refined. After receiving the call, he grabbed the necessary equipment for diagnosis and arrived at Jiang Ting.
Luckily, Su Tang was sleeping very deeply. He didn’t wake up at all during Dr. He’s examination. After drawing blood and testing it with his portable instrument, he told Ye Chiyu to rest assured.
“Omega physical constitutions are much weaker than Alphas. According to what you said, Mr. Su has been helping you through your Rut from last night until today, so short-term hypoglycemia and hypotension are normal. Just let him recuperate well during this time.”
Dr. He looked at Su Tang’s blood test results and reached a conclusion.
Ye Chiyu nodded. After the doctor hung a high-sugar drip for Su Tang to replenish energy and finished up, Ye Chiyu walked the doctor to the door.
“Dr. He.”
Ye Chiyu stopped He Xu, who was preparing to leave.
Dr. He turned to look at this young employer and asked, “En, does Mr. Ye have any other instructions?”
“I want to ask… although he isn’t in his heat right now, is there… a possibility of pregnancy?”
There was faint worry in Ye Chiyu’s eyes as he awaited the doctor’s answer.
Since long ago, due to innate physical limitations, Omegas had a constitution that was very prone to conception. As long as they combined with an Alpha, there was a high probability of immediate pregnancy.
After over a hundred years of evolution until now, Omegas had mostly concentrated their fertile window to their heat periods, but Omega evolution wasn’t entirely stable.
Su Tang was young and in the rising period of his career. Ye Chiyu had to think of everything for his little Omega. Getting pregnant at a time like this would definitely not be a good thing.
He had seen too many rich people who treated their Omegas as breeding tools. Who knew how many Omegas were forced to begin indefinite cycles of pregnancy and childbirth as soon as they married into an Alpha’s family? There were many who died tragically during childbirth.
Seeing that Ye Chiyu seemed unwilling for his Omega to get pregnant, He Xu felt a surge of appreciation for this employer he was meeting for the first time.
He pushed up his glasses, took a box of contraceptive pills from his medical kit, and handed it to Ye Chiyu. “The possibility cannot be completely ruled out. If you and Mr. Su do not want children right now, to be safe, it is better to use medication intervention.”
Ye Chiyu asked cautiously, “Will this medicine affect his body?”
Dr. He smiled. “This medicine is the safest and most effective one I could find with the lowest side effects. It might cause mild drowsiness, but generally, it won’t have other effects on the body.”
After speaking, he added, “Of course, no matter how small the side effects, long-term use isn’t recommended. After all, it is medicine; eating too much isn’t good.”
Ye Chiyu was still not at ease.
“Are there contraceptive pills for Alphas?”
“This,” Dr. He finally thoroughly saw this young President Ye’s care for his Omega. “Currently, there are no male contraceptive pills worldwide. Vasectomy and safety measures are the most effective forms of contraception.”
Hearing this, Ye Chiyu nodded and pondered for a while before seeing He Xu off.
For the next few days, Su Tang was raised very delicately by the Alpha. Ye Chiyu stopped going to the company for his sake. Whatever could be handled by subordinates was given to Qi Yuan; whatever couldn’t was faxed to the house. He got a small desk from somewhere and worked remotely right next to Su Tang in the master bedroom.
It took several days of lying in bed for Su Tang’s body to recover. Let alone walking on the ground, even going to the toilet was done with Ye Xiansheng carrying him. Peeing in front of Ye Xiansheng made his face burn red with shame; he had to plead and argue to chase the Alpha out.
Tomorrow was the Little New Year. Jiang Cha selected several movie scripts for filming after the New Year for Su Tang; the themes and character settings were all quite good, some leading roles and some supporting. He sent them over for Su Tang to pick himself.
After attending that Weibo event and hitting the hot search several times, Su Tang was nominated for Best Newcomer, formally establishing a firm foothold in the entertainment industry.
Lying in bed these past few days, aside from reading scripts, Su Tang replied to greetings from classmates and friends about his award nomination. It was a fulfilling time.
In the middle of this, Wen Lang came to the house once. He originally wanted to talk to Su Tang about when to shoot the commercial after the New Year. But upon seeing his sister-in-law looking like a pitiful little thing forced to be “bedridden” by his brother’s bullying, he pointed at Ye Chiyu with heartache, accusing him of being inhumaneāhow could he treat his sister-in-law like this!
Su Tang blushed, not daring to say he had initiated the seduction. Hiding his face behind the script and revealing only his eyes, he watched darting glances as Ye Xiansheng replied calmly.
“Family tradition. You wouldn’t understand.”
After all, in his memory, Father often “bullied” Papa even worse. However, Wen Lang had fewer chances to see that because Ye Sheng disliked the youngest son being too noisy and disobedient, often sending Wen Lang off to physical training camps at the drop of a hat to brave the wind, sun, and eat dirt.
Wen Lang would often be gone for ten days or half a month, coming back dark as a monkey and terrifying Wen Fanxing. When Wen Fanxing told Ye Sheng to be nicer to the child, not long after, Wen Lang would be thrown by his biological father to train with the children in the neighboring military district again.
“……”
Recalling his tragic childhood, Wen Lang had black lines over his head and pouted miserably.
Su Tang had heard Ye Xiansheng talk about Wen Lang’s childhood. He was snickering silently on the side, but the next second, Wen Lang fully revived, squatting by his bed and looking at him with a playful smile.
Su Tang let out a sound of “Yi”, expressing disgust. “Don’t stare at me like that, I’m scared.”
“Hehe,” Wen Lang quickly switched to an obedient look. “Sao-zi, Sao-zi, let’s go shoot the commercial after the New Year, okay?”
“Also, also, can you secretly tell me what Yangyang likes? I invited him to dinner last time and got bullied by him so miserably, boohoo~”
Shooting the commercial was no problem; just telling Jiang Cha would do. Seeing Wen Lang being so proactive about Ning Yang, Su Tang covered his mouth and said, “You, don’t tell me you… towards our Yangyang…?!”
Last time at the hospital, he had noticed the atmosphere between the two was a bit off. Later, when he asked Ning Yang, the other party didn’t say much, just that Wen Lang was annoying as hell.
Wen Lang blinked, snapped his fingers, and nodded like a pounding garlic pestle.
“En en, that’s right! Sao-zi, I super like Yangyang. Aren’t I currently chasing him~”
