Chapter 68: A Silent Contest
Even though the Alpha had not explained the reason why he had remained single for so many years, Su Tang had already tossed his doubts to the back of his mind.
Within Ye Xiansheng’s deep eyes flickered a silent, hidden, and almost manic love. Although Su Tang could not quite decipher it, he fell into it without hesitation, staring dizzily at his Alpha for a long time.
By the time he finally snapped out of it, Ye Chiyu smiled and rubbed his hair before restarting the car to resume their journey home.
Su Tang admired the scenery along the road, leaning against the car window with his eyes shining brightly.
It took them over an hour to return to the city center. Ye Chiyu drove straight to the entrance of a cinema. He leaned over to help his Tangtang put on a mask and scarf before getting out of the car first.
After exiting, Ye Chiyu tapped on the passenger window.
“Tangtang, wait for me in the car for a moment. I’ll go get the tickets first. We can head inside one after the other later.”
Su Tang nodded obediently. Seeing Ye Xiansheng go inside to collect the tickets, he pulled out the grey knitted hat Ye Xiansheng had bought him and put it on. Two small fuzzy balls hung by the ears of the hat, feeling soft and fluffy to the touch. Su Tang immediately started petting them, finding the sensation somewhat addictive.
A short while later, Ye Chiyu returned with the tickets. He handed one to Su Tang, letting him go in first, while he went to the side to queue for popcorn.

The Alpha pursed his lips in thought.
“It’s possible.”

“Yongning Road near the river has been developed very well recently. It was constructed by our company. Do you want to go take a look together?”
“Sure.”
Su Tang readily agreed.

His phone suddenly rang. Ye Chiyu saw it was Qi Yuan and answered it. Su Tang waited obediently, his peripheral vision suddenly catching sight of a couple locked in a passionate embrace.
They were so lost in their kissing that Su Tang couldn’t help but take another look.
Ye Chiyu, who was still on the phone, noticed this too. He directly pulled Su Tang close and began to kiss the little fellow’s face and neck. Su Tang also realized Ye Xiansheng’s slightly childish competitive streak and took the initiative to lean in and kiss Ye Xiansheng’s neck.
The couple in the distance seemed to have discovered Ye Chiyu and Su Tang’s competitive behavior as well, and they began to tangle their bodies and kiss even harder.
