Paranoid Boss Always Wants to Possess Me CHAPTER 48

Chapter 48: So, Do You Like Me?

“Li Qi… you…”

“Have you lost your mind?”

Chen Jiamu stared at him in disbelief, trying with all his might to push him away. But no matter how hard he shoved, Li Qi held him in place, unmoving.

“That’s right. I have lost my mind.”

Li Qi made no attempt to hide it. He pinched Chen Jiamu’s chin, about to kiss him, but Chen Jiamu wasn’t about to let him succeed. He raised his hand and slapped him hard across the face.

With a sharp crack, the slap landed squarely on Li Qi’s cheek.

Chen Jiamu couldn’t understand it. How could Li Qi suddenly become like this? He was so unfamiliar, it was terrifying.

His own best friend was after him?

Instead of getting angry, Li Qi laughed. He grabbed Chen Jiamu’s hands, pinned them back, and then pulled off his own belt to tie them together.

The passenger seat was cramped, and Chen Jiamu’s strength was slowly draining away. He was completely unable to resist Li Qi’s actions.

“What did you put in the water you gave me!”

“Something special,” Li Qi said with a wicked smile, taking his phone away. He then sat up straight and started the car.

“Let me go!”

“Li Qi!”

At first, Chen Jiamu could still struggle, but soon his efforts became feeble. In the end, he could only loll his head to the side, glaring groggily at Li Qi.

Li Qi ignored his curses, focusing completely on driving.

Downstairs at the apartment building, Li Qi carefully untied the belt and helped him into the elevator.

A sliver of consciousness remained in Chen Jiamu, but he had no strength to shout for help. He could only watch helplessly as Li Qi guided him into his own apartment.

“Son of a bitch, Liβ€””

Before he could finish the curse, his consciousness was completely swallowed by darkness, and he passed out.

When he woke again, he was tied securely to his bed. The sky outside was pitch black, with only a small night light on the bedside table struggling to illuminate the room.

Staring at the dim ceiling, Chen Jiamu cursed internally. What the hell was this?

How did he end up in a situation like this?

Li Qi had imprisoned him, binding his hands and feet so he was spread-eagled on the bed in an utterly humiliating position.

Click…

The sound of the bedroom door opening. It was Li Qi.

“You can resent me, you can hate me.”

“But I don’t want to wait anymore.”

Li Qi didn’t turn on the main light; he didn’t want to see the hatred in Chen Jiamu’s eyes. Standing in the dim light, his silhouette looked like that of a deadly assassin in the night.

He stood by the bed, holding a glass of milk.

“Li Qi… you…”

Even an idiot would understand what was happening now. Li Qi liked him, but… he… he was a guy.

Besides, couldn’t they have just talked about it?

Did he have to do this?

Huh?

Li Qi had expected Chen Jiamu to curse him out. His knuckles turned white from how tightly he was gripping the glass.

“Be good. Drink this.”

Li Qi took a deep breath, sat on the edge of the bed, and lifted Chen Jiamu’s head, bringing the glass to his lips.

But Chen Jiamu wasn’t a fool. He knew there was something wrong with the milk. He immediately turned his head away, craning his neck and yelling, “Untie me! We can talk this out properly. What’s the point of tying me up like this?”

Seeing his lack of cooperation, Li Qi’s gaze darkened. He pinched Chen Jiamu’s jaw and forced the milk down his throat. Caught off guard, Chen Jiamu choked and coughed violently, his face flushing red. Milk stained his face and trickled down his neck, soaking into his shirt.

He looked so pitiful, but in Li Qi’s eyes, it was incredibly alluring.

“Your shirt is dirty. Let me take it off and wash it for you.”

Without another word, he began tearing at the fabric, ripping the t-shirt to shreds in a few swift motions. Chen Jiamu’s pale skin was exposed to the cool air.

“No! Are you sick?!”

Now Chen Jiamu was truly angry. He didn’t understand what had gotten into Li Qi to make him act this way.

Weren’t things fine before? Why was he acting like he was possessed?

He wouldn’t listen to a single word.

Chen Jiamu’s face was flushed from coughing, and tears welled in the corners of his eyes. He looked utterly pathetic. But Li Qi simply placed a hand on his chest, his fingertips brushing against his skin.

He paid no mind to his curses. Chen Jiamu had never experienced anything like this, and the shock made his words falter and his body tremble.

“Li Qi… let’s just talk. What you’re doing is wrong.”

Chen Jiamu’s chest heaved, the coughing fit having clearly taken a toll on him. Li Qi noticed his chin was still wet and reached out to cup it. “I’m in love with you, Chen Jiamu. Do you really think that’s something we can negotiate?”

Even though he already knew, hearing Li Qi say it so bluntly left Chen Jiamu speechless.

“So, what about you? Do you like me?”

Chen Jiamu didn’t make a sound. Li Qi pressed him again, the two questions leaving him unable to respond.

He could only stare at his face in silence.

Receiving no answer, Li Qi’s eyes fell in disappointment. Then, he let out a self-deprecating laugh. “So, what is there left to negotiate?”

“Hmm? Jiamu.”

The last word was spoken like a lover’s call. Chen Jiamu could only turn his head away and close his eyes, trying to endure the frantic pounding of his own heart.

What do I do…

The more he thought, the drier his mouth became. A strange heat began to build inside him, slowly moving downward until it pooled in one specific place.

“You…”

Noticing the strange reaction of his own body, Chen Jiamu whipped his head back to look at Li Qi in shock. Li Qi met his gaze, understanding that the drug was taking effect.

But he was in no hurry. He slowly pulled off Chen Jiamu’s pants, his hand closing around him… his eyes locked on Chen Jiamu’s.

“Ngh…”

Chen Jiamu couldn’t help but let out a muffled groan, biting his lip hard to keep from making any more noise.

“It’s okay if you don’t like me, Jiamu.”

“But I’ll make your body like me.”
