“You ran all the way to Beicheng; what about your company?”
“Are you just abandoning it?”
After cuddling for a while, Chen Jiamu suddenly realized something. If Li Qi had run off to Beicheng, what was happening to his business?
“The company is running normally for now. I can handle documents online.”
“Why? Since when are you so worried about my company?”
“Didn’t you say before that it was about to go bankrupt?”
Li Qi lay back flat, his large hand toying with Chen Jiamu’s fingers, casting him an amused glance.
“It doesn’t benefit me if your company goes under. Just saying.”
Chen Jiamu snatched his hand back grumpily, got up, and started picking up his clothes to put them on. Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, he spotted five or six messy, milky-white objects in the trash can…
His face flushed red instantly. Five or six times in one night—no wonder he said his back was killing him.
Was Li Qi a plow ox in his past life?
How could he have that much stamina?
“Brother, was I amazing?”
Chen Jiamu turned around to see Li Qi raising an eyebrow, looking at him with pride. The term “Brother” gave Chen Jiamu a distinct sense of taboo, sending a shiver through his entire body.
“Don’t call me that. I can’t stand it.”
in terms of age, he was indeed a few months older than Li Qi, so theoretically, he could be considered his older brother.
But a perfectly normal title coming out of Li Qi’s mouth felt incredibly erotic.
It made one’s mind wander to dirty places…

Li Qi let out a wicked laugh, then also got up to find his clothes. Ten minutes later, they appeared in the hallway looking clean and tidy. Dressed in his suit, Li Qi showed no trace of last night’s madness.

Noticing Chen Jiamu’s stare, Li Qi looked over as well. Seeing the coconut milk, his eyes shifted away with a hint of guilt.
“Spill it. What was the deal with that coconut milk?”
“Did you tamper with it?”
Chen Jiamu naturally didn’t miss the guilt in his eyes and immediately realized there was definitely something wrong with the so-called allergy.
“You really are smart, Jiamu.”
“But if I didn’t tamper with it, how could I have gotten you?”
Li Qi was actually quite candid about it. Since Chen Jiamu already knew, there was no point in deliberately hiding it anymore.
“So, you bastard, you drugged me three times!”
“Weren’t you afraid of overdosing and killing me?”

Chen Jiamu’s eyes widened in anger. Scared, Li Qi hurriedly explained, terrified that Chen Jiamu would misunderstand his intentions regarding his safety.
“You couldn’t bear it, yet you still drugged me!”
Chen Jiamu rolled his eyes at him speechlessly. Hadn’t he witnessed Li Qi’s madness and paranoia four years ago?
The first time they met, Li Qi had stabbed him into the hospital, and hadn’t forgotten to stab himself too.

“The urgent matter now is to solve my sister’s problem.”
“My family introduced a blind date to her two days ago. What if my sister gets pushed out of the company?”
This was what worried Chen Jiamu. Recently, Su Yi had been dropping hints, both subtle and overt, about him joining the company.
She kept saying that he was the only son of the Chen family and that he would have to shoulder this responsibility sooner or later.
However, the company contained half of Chen Cheng’s lifeblood. If he went in, the family would definitely try every method to push Chen Cheng out.
He didn’t want to wear a wedding dress made at the expense of Chen Cheng’s hard work.

Li Qi spoke seriously, but Chen Jiamu looked skeptical.

“Are you serious?”

As a result, growing up, she had always been respectful to their parents. She never thought about the preference for sons over daughters or the bias.
She loved their parents. She loved the company.
So Chen Jiamu didn’t want Chen Cheng to be disappointed in the Chen family…
