Chapter 71: The Weird Blind Date Guy
After officially joining the company, Chen Jiamu truly understood what it meant to be swept along by the current.
When Chen Cheng handled matters, he followed; when she negotiated contracts, he tagged along. He went from being flustered and clumsy at the start to handling things with ease now.
However, compared to Chen Cheng, he was still lacking.

Winter had arrived, and the temperature dropped severely. Sitting in his office, Chen Jiamu sent a message to Li Xi, telling him to dress warmly.
Since Jiamu joined the company, Li Xi had returned to Su City; he couldn’t leave his own company unattended forever.

At Jiamuās words, Chen Cheng finally remembered that today was Su Yiās birthday.
“Oh. You go back then. Iām not going.”

“Mom and Dad are pushing you to date again?”
Walking into the office, Chen Jiamu frowned immediately upon seeing the exhaustion written all over her face.

“This is the fourth one this month. I don’t know what they’re so anxious about. Itās like theyāre worried I canāt get married, or theyāre in a rush to push me out the door.”
Chen Chengās voice was hoarse, likely from shouting just now.
Chen Jiamuās heart skipped a beat. Right, how could I forget this? Wasn’t the whole reason I joined the company to help Sis?
Slapping his forehead, Chen Jiamu immediately leaned in front of her. “Iāll go with you to the blind date. I want to see exactly what kind of trash dares to approach you!”

Chen Jiamu spoke earnestly. Chen Cheng lowered her eyes for a few seconds, then stood up and grabbed her bag. “Don’t hit anyone. Damaging the Chen family’s reputation isn’t good!”
