Chapter 48: Believing He Wouldn’t
Disturbed and irritated by Yasuo’s words, she didn’t want to answer his question. She stood up, turning to leave.
Yasuo raised an eyebrow. Seeing her about to leave, his large palm clamped down on the woman’s shoulder.
His palm was very hot, the force neither light nor heavy. It couldn’t be called painful, but it was absolutely not something she could break free from.

Su Tang turned to glare at him. The little fox in her arms poked its head out, baring its teeth at Zhan Ye, as a display of threat.

Yasuo’s gaze was drawn to the girl’s earlobe. That spot was like a freshly steamed little glutinous rice ball. His fingertips grew uncontrollably itchy, wanting to touch that little rice ball.

As soon as his finger touched it, that little clump sank slightly inward. The pale pink blood color looked so enchanting under the sunlight. Soon, watching that flush of blood become richer and richer, seeping through the skin to reflect a cute blush, Yasuo’s lips curved upward.

The girl’s voice when speaking to him was timid and submissive, as if she were guarding against him.
Yasuo looked at her appearance and suddenly felt it was boring. He turned and kicked a pebble on the ground.

He threw the little snow ball in his hand toward Su Tang, who hurriedly stretched out her arms to catch it. The man’s force wasn’t heavy; the little ball didn’t hurt when it bumped into her arms.

“Hey.”
He took Su Tang’s original seat, his whole body forcefully squeezing to Su Tang’s side.

“Captain Shen Ji?”
