Rebirth in the Apocalypse: My Little Space farm Chapter 41

Chapter 41: Green-Eyed Zombies?

Seeming to sense the danger from the man across from them, several flying corpses now didn’t dare approach. Their blood-red pupils emanated bloodthirsty killing intent as they stared warily at the two, making roaring sounds.

Flicking his fingers, Shen Shaojie suddenly smiled: “Since you won’t come over, then I’ll go up.”

As his words fell, the next second, his entire person disappeared from where he stood.

The several flying corpses saw the man who had been standing there suddenly vanish. Confusion flashed across their faces. Just as they were tilting their heads to look around, a leisurely voice suddenly came from behind: “Looking for me?”

As the words fell, before the flying corpses could spin around, a “slice” sound rang out particularly sharply in the entire quiet shopping center.

The flying corpse in the middle suddenly widened its blood-colored eyes, pupils overflowing with unwilling disbelief, falling straight forward with a “bang.”

The remaining two flying corpses’ pitch-black faces showed sudden alarm. Turning their heads, they saw an elegant figure standing behind them.

His demonic face curved in a smile. Seeing the two flying corpses turn around, Shen Shaojie raised his sword-like eyebrows and kicked out at the flying corpse on the left. His foot generated wind, the speed so fast and force so heavy that before the flying corpse could react, its entire body flew through the air, directly crashing into an iron rod stuck in the wall, getting impaled!

Seeing its head directly pierced through, its entire face completely black, Shen Shaojie shook his head and sighed: “Being ugly isn’t your fault, but turning around to scare me – that’s where you went wrong.”

Her mouth twitched as Su Mo, standing to the side, felt somewhat speechless.

Seeing both its companions dead, the last flying corpse’s eyes overflowed with terror. It jumped back violently, its brain constantly flashing danger signals. Its blood-colored eyes turned, and it spun around and leaped toward the rooftop direction.

With a “bang,” a shadow flashed through the air, the iron railing humming, and in a turn, the flying corpse’s entire body crouched at the bend of the iron railing.

“Not good, it’s going to escape.” Seeing this, Su Mo shouted loudly.

Seeing the flying corpse exert force with its hands, then leap again, directly sticking to the wall on the other side of the iron railing.

Shen Shaojie’s eyes were light, and with a flash, just as the flying corpse was preparing to jump onto the rooftop, he directly rushed in front of it.

The flying corpse reacted extremely quickly, its speed also fast. Seeing the path ahead blocked, its entire body quickly dropped to the ground. Its blood-colored eyes turned, and it suddenly leaped, wanting to stick to the destroyed stairway wall and escape downward.

However, how could Shen Shaojie let it escape so easily? His body disappeared from where it stood, and two figures appeared simultaneously in the air.

Kicking out at the flying corpse in front of him, feeling his body rapidly descending, Shen Shaojie reached out to grab the iron railing, using the strength of his wrist to jump directly up.

The fierce force plus powerful impact created a pit in the ground with a crash, but that flying corpse actually got up unharmed instantly. Knowing it couldn’t beat that man.

It turned to look at the window behind it, bouncing on its feet, quickly leaping up, wanting to jump out the window.

Seeing this, Su Mo’s eyes widened. She drew the silenced pistol from her waist, just taking aim when a whistling sound passed by her ear, stirring her hair.

A muffled grunt sounded as the flying corpse suddenly crashed down rapidly from the air, stirring up clouds of gray smoke. An iron hammer was deeply embedded through its entire skull, revealing black blood.

Her eyes flashed with shock. Su Mo looked at that iron hammer – such a long distance, hitting the head directly, and with the wooden handle inserted, this required incredible control and force. Her heart couldn’t help but be shaken.

Several heads suddenly rolled by her feet. Looking down, she saw three blackened skulls, bloody and mangled, their blood-colored pupils wide open as if dying with grievances.

Understanding his meaning, Su Mo took out her dagger without ceremony, directly picking out the red crystal cores from the several flying corpses’ brains and throwing them into her space.

Looking up, just as she was about to say something, suddenly, the entire building shook violently. Sensing the aura coming from overhead, Su Mo frowned. This aura seemed somewhat different, and her face couldn’t help but show gravity.

Shen Shaojie’s voice reached her ears at just the right time: “Where is it?”

Turning her head, Su Mo’s eyebrows knitted tightly. Seeing him somehow appear beside her, his demonic face also seeming to sense an aura different from before, she said: “Northwest side of the rooftop.”

The dirty stairs were covered in blood. After a battle, the originally flat areas were already destroyed, with uneven places full of gravel.

The two quickly climbed to the rooftop. The pitch-black ground was covered with trash everywhere, various food packaging bags scattered about. It wasn’t hard to imagine that many refugees had once been here.

Casually scanning the surroundings, Su Mo turned to Shen Shaojie: “Its aura seems to have changed. Be careful.”

Hearing this, Shen Shaojie’s lips suddenly curved in a smile. He looked at her, his entire aura lazy, saying roguishly: “What, worried about me?”

Then he chuckled lowly: “Do you feel like life would lose its bright spots without me?”

Her mouth twitched. Looking at someone’s insufferable face, Su Mo instantly felt like slapping herself. Why did she have to speak up!

The sun in the sky slowly set, leaving only the last trace of light, indicating that night was about to come.

In the dark room, a crunching sound arose as a tall figure crouched on the ground, “crunch crunch” eating a pile of white crystal cores in front of it.

Outside the window, Su Mo crouched down, staring unblinkingly at that zombie.

Suddenly, as if sensing something, the zombie spun around, its lantern-like eyes flashing green light.

Her pupils suddenly contracted, and the next second, both of them quickly jumped away.

With a “bang,” the door was blasted with a hole.

Gray smoke rose, mist filling the air.

Tall stature, strong muscles – each step seemed to make the ground tremble.

As the smoke cleared and dust settled, Su Mo finally saw its pupils clearly.

Green – low-level lost soul!
