Chapter 20: If I Don’t Set Rules for You, You’ll Never Learn to Be Good!
Lin Yuan didn’t understand at first, a look of confusion in his eyes.
“Please me. I won’t pursue the matter of you lying. Otherwise, you know the consequences.”
Shen Yanzhou looked languid, unbuttoning his shirt one by one.
The shirt naturally parted to the sides, revealing a light honey-colored chest.
The lines were tough, muscles taut.
…
…
This aggressive action scared Lin Yuan’s small face pale.
“Ge, don’t, don’t be like this! Ge…”
“Knowing fear now?” He pressed against his ear, his voice very low, yet it made one’s heart turn cold instantly. “If I don’t set rules for you, you’ll never learn to be good!”
He bit down on the side of his neck, neither light nor heavy. “From now on, no lying to me, and no running away. These two are the bottom line.”
“If you dare to touch them, there will be consequences you can’t bear. Understand?”
Lin Yuan’s heart was pounding wildly right now. He nodded mechanically and stiffly.
Shen Yanzhou’s voice deepened. “Repeat it!”
Lin Yuan’s body trembled slightly, and he inhaled sharply. “No lying to you, no… running…”
Shen Yanzhou seemed satisfied.
…
…
…
Lin Yuan seemed to realize what he wanted him to do.
…
…
Shen Yanzhou’s fingers gently pinched his chin, capturing the panic in his eyes.
The corner of his lips slanted. “One more rule: you are not allowed to say ‘No’ to me!”
Lin Yuan’s face was so red it almost bled.
“Ge, I’ve never, never…” He was as flustered as a startled deer, pitiful and lovely.
Shen Yanzhou’s voice was slightly husky.
…
Lin Yuan was forced until moisture welled up in his eyes.
A layer of crystalline tear mist couldn’t hide the grievance, humiliation, and struggle in his eyes.
…
Lin Yuan bit his lip hard…
He felt Shen Yanzhou’s heart beating faster and faster.
He held him tightly in his arms, whispering softly, “Good boy, don’t be nervous. You’ll get used to it.”
…
When the sky gradually darkened…
Beads of sweat covered Lin Yuan’s forehead; it was unclear if it was from exhaustion or fear.
Shen Yanzhou lit a cigarette and took two deep puffs.
He gently rubbed his soft curly hair.
“…” His long finger gently lifted his chin, his eyes affectionate.
Lin Yuan’s small face was flushed. With lowered eyes, he nodded slightly.
…
Lin Yuan’s brow furrowed almost imperceptibly, but he still nodded.
Shen Yanzhou smiled, lowered his head, and kissed the top of his head gently.
He got up and walked toward the bathroom.
Lin Yuan sighed deeply and slumped onto the floor.
When Shen Yanzhou came out of the shower, he saw Lin Yuan sitting on the floor, his small face downcast.
His eyes softened. He walked to his side, bent down, scooped him up from the floor, and held him in his arms.
He walked to the sofa nearby and sat down.
Lin Yuan didn’t resist.
Having just been forced to do such a humiliating thing, his mind was in a mess right now.
He felt a sense of powerlessness, like life had lost its meaning.
Shen Yanzhou placed him on his lap, holding him gently.
The scent of body wash mixed with the faint smell of tobacco that always lingered on him wafted around Lin Yuan’s nose.
It actually smelled quite good.
Giving one the illusion of peace of mind.
Lin Yuan was in low spirits, his eyelids heavy.
Shen Yanzhou spoke softly, “I heard that when I wasn’t here, you cried?”
Lin Yuan didn’t dare to hide it and nodded.
“Why?”
“Missed Master,” he answered. “And missed my parents.”
Shen Yanzhou: “Tell me about your background.”
Although Lin Yuan didn’t want to tell his secrets to this bastard who kept hurting him, he dared not disobey.
So he briefly recounted his experiences.
Shen Yanzhou was silent for a moment after listening.
His heart felt a twinge of pain.
This seemingly cheerful and optimistic little person was actually perhaps even more miserable than himself.
At least he had seen his biological parents and received their love for three years.
And him?
From birth, he was alone and helpless.
It was truly a miracle that he could grow into a psychologically sound and even sunny person, instead of becoming dark, indifferent, paranoid, and crazy like himself.
The pad of Shen Yanzhou’s thumb gently touched Lin Yuan’s lips. “Want a home? How about I give you one?”
Lin Yuan looked up, looking at him with eyes full of confusion.
Shen Yanzhou regretted it immediately after speaking.
What was wrong with him?
Wasn’t he treating him as a toy?
But…
Did he really treat him as a toy?
His feelings for him seemed to have changed unknowingly!
Shen Yanzhou switched to a lazy tone.
“Stop thinking about your parents. They could cruelly leave such a small you in the wilderness; do you think they would welcome you back?”
Lin Yuan’s handsome brows furrowed.
“Maybe they just lost me by accident!” His voice was tinged with persistence.
“Maybe they have been looking for me all these years!”
Seeing the serious and devout look on his small face, a wave of suffocation inexplicably surged in Shen Yanzhou’s chest.
“And then?” he asked. “After finding them, you’ll leave me?”
His voice went cold.
His large hand grasped the back of his neck. “Lin Yuan, stop dreaming! Not to mention you can’t find them, even if you did, don’t even think about leaving me!”
Lin Yuan was at a loss due to his sudden anger.
“You… why are you angry again?” he asked timidly.
Truly a moody lunatic!
A muscle in Shen Yanzhou’s cheek jumped, and he loosened his hand.
“I’m not. Just making you recognize reality.” He calmed his restless emotions.
“You are forbidden to mention searching for relatives in the future.” His voice was calm, but the tone of command was obvious.
Lin Yuan lowered his eyelids and fell silent.
Shen Yanzhou looked at his watch. “Time to apply medicine to the injury on your back.”
After speaking, he pulled him up.
Walking toward the bedroom.
Shen Yanzhou sat on the sofa and took the ointment out of the small medical kit.
Lin Yuan consciously knelt at his feet, took off his shirt, and lay on his lap.
Turning his head sideways, his furry little head rested on his two hands, as obedient as a little puppy.
“Ge, I’ll be obedient. Tomorrow… or in the future, can you let me… go out for a walk?” he probed cautiously.
