Chapter 34: If Lin Yuan Dies, I’ll Go With Him!
At this moment, Yue Ping’s phone rang.
He took several calls in succession.
“President Shen, the results from the police surveillance show that his Phantom disappeared in a blind spot in the suburbs and hasn’t appeared since!”
“Additionally, all of his phones are equipped with anti-tracking systems; they can’t be located at all!”
Shen Yanzhou’s fist was clenched so tightly that his bones made a cracking sound.
“They can’t take a plane. To get to Dianbei from here, the only other convenient way is by water, right?”
Yue Ping thought for a moment and nodded. “Yes!”
Shen Yanzhou turned and ran toward the door. “To the docks!”
The luxury car dashed into the rain once again.
By now, the sky had gradually darkened.
The heavy rain continued.
Under the pressure of the ultra-low air pressure, Shen Yanzhou felt as if he were almost unable to breathe.
He ruthlessly tore off his tie with one hand, even ripping off two buttons from his shirt collar in the process.
He pulled out a cigarette, lit it with one hand, and took a deep, deep drag.
Yue Ping, beside him, noticed that the hand holding the cigarette was currently trembling uncontrollably.
Yue Ping took a deep breath.
Young Master Yu, you aren’t just taking Lin Yuan’s life; you’re taking Shen Yanzhou’s life!
The luxury car sped across the waterlogged road. Because of the slickness, resistance was reduced, and the car’s speed was currently akin to taking off while hugging the ground.
Soon, the car arrived at the Xijiang Port Docks.
Shen Yanzhou threw the luxury car aside and strode into the pouring rain.
Yue Ping followed closely behind.
At this moment, the busy metropolitan docks hadn’t stopped despite the rain.
Several ships were departing in the distance, and containers were being loaded onto ships nearby. People were busy in their own ways, no different from usual.
Looking at everything before him, Shen Yanzhou felt a wave of dizziness.

He knew better than anyone what kind of place Dianbei was.

Shen Yanzhou felt as though his heart were about to leap out of his chest.
Just then, through the rain, he saw someone sitting on the railing of a floating bridge in the distance.
Holding an umbrella with one hand, the person was currently tilting his head, staring blankly at the distant sea.
It was Yu Yi’an!
Shen Yanzhou immediately rushed over.
When Yu Yi’an heard footsteps and turned his head to see Shen Yanzhou, a signature smile appeared on his refined face.
“Shu, you’re truly amazing. You found me so quickly!”
Ignoring everything else, Shen Yanzhou rushed forward and grabbed him by the collar.
He dragged him down from the railing.
“Where is Lin Yuan?” he roared like a beast.
Yu Yi’an, however, wasn’t angry or annoyed at all.
Staring at him, he shook his head slightly and tilted his umbrella toward Shen Yanzhou, a look of heartache coloring his eyes.
“I’ve never seen you look so disheveled before!”
“With rain this heavy, you came all this way soaked to the skin?”
Shen Yanzhou flung the umbrella aside, and his large hand uncontrollably grabbed Yu Yi’an’s neck.
He growled, “I asked you where he is!”
Even while being strangled, Yu Yi’an maintained that lukewarm expression.
“Shu, you don’t really think I kidnapped him, do you? I’m not that crazy!”
“Heh, he’s the one who begged me to let him go! Wake up!”
Rainwater slid down Yu Yi’an’s cheeks, making that refined face look dark and paranoid.
“He doesn’t want the golden cage of comfort you gave him! What he wants is a life without you, don’t you understand?”
Yu Yi’an shouted, his expression twisting slightly.
Then his voice suddenly dropped. “Shu, why don’t you look at me? Do you know how much I like you? I want you!”
The urge to strangle him was becoming uncontrollable in Shen Yanzhou’s heart.
He said each word through gritted teeth, “I’m asking you one last time: where is he?”
Yu Yi’an let out a soft laugh. “I’ve sent him away! He’s long gone! Shu, you’ll never find him again! Hahaha!”
He began to laugh, his voice sounding somewhat pathologically hysterical.
At the very last second before his reason completely vanished, Shen Yanzhou released his hand.
While his fingers trembled as he pulled out his phone, he spoke to Yue Ping behind him.
“Immediately contact the Dianbei Embassy in the capital and the Chinese Embassy in Dianbei. Put pressure on them to have them search for him with everything they’ve got!”
“Contact Director Zhao of the Maritime Affairs Bureau. Have him immediately send ships to give chase! Search every single ship, turn them inside out!”
“Notify the pilot to have the Dassault Falcon ready; I’m flying to Dianbei right now!”
After giving the instructions, he pulled out his phone and dialed a number.
“Black Brother, contact the brothers who are familiar with the terrain and connections in Dianbei. Get a hundred men ready for me! Yes, right now! Immediately!”
Beside him, Yu Yi’an quietly watched the maddened Shen Yanzhou, his brow furrowing tighter and tighter.
“Shu, don’t waste your effort!” he said softly.
Shen Yanzhou’s hand, with veins bulging, pointed sharply at Yu Yi’an. The cold violence radiating from him seemed to make the temperature of the space drop by several degrees.
“Listen to me. If Lin Yuan dies, someone must be buried with him!”
Yu Yi’an’s eyes went dark.
He reached behind his waist.
When he pulled his hand back, he was holding a jet-black, shiny Ruger RXM.
He hooked his long finger through the trigger guard and spun it around in his palm once.
Then, he stuffed it into Shen Yanzhou’s hand.
Then, he grabbed Shen Yanzhou’s hand and pointed the black muzzle directly at his own forehead.
He curled his lips into a smile. “Then I’ll go with him, alright?”
The muscles in Shen Yanzhou’s jaw jumped violently.
He swung a fist and struck Yu Yi’an hard on the side of his face.
Yu Yi’an’s body tilted. When he turned his head back, a trail of blood was flowing from the corner of his mouth.
Shen Yanzhou ground his teeth. “You f*cking don’t deserve to!”
“Yu Yi’an, listen carefully. If Lin Yuan dies, I’ll go with him!”
His eyes were currently bloodshot. On his chest, revealed by his open collar, rainwater washed over him, his breathing heavy.
“In another world, he and I can still be together!”
Hearing this, Yu Yi’an’s beautiful doe eyes first welled up with deep shock.
Then, they were clouded by a deathly shade.
Full of despair.
His thin lips trembled slightly. “Shu, you’re truly ruthless!”
Shen Yanzhou stopped paying him any attention and turned to leave.
Just then, a light “thud” was heard.
Something landed not far from his feet.
A shallow ripple was made in the puddle.
Behind him came Yu Yi’an’s weak voice: “East City Scrapyard. Wuling Rongguang.”
Shen Yanzhou felt a sudden jolt in his heart.
He picked up the object on the ground.
It was an old car key.
Shen Yanzhou turned back and saw Yu Yi’an leaning against the floating bridge railing.
His eyes were hollow, and his expression was numb.
“Tell Lin Yuan that he won.”
Shen Yanzhou felt like a person falling into a dark abyss who had suddenly seen a ray of light above.
Ignoring everything else, he turned and dashed toward the car.
Half an hour later, Shen Yanzhou and Yue Ping arrived at the East City Scrapyard.
On the way, Yue Ping had already called the bodyguard captain and told him to bring twenty men.
A group of people swarmed into the scrapyard, terrifying a worker on duty so much that his legs went weak.
The bodyguard captain instructed: target vehicle is a Wuling Rongguang, conduct a carpet search.
The well-trained bodyguards began their search in the massive scrapyard.
Shen Yanzhou stood in the open area, allowing the heavy rain to pour down on him from above.
He casually swept his hair back with his hand to clear his vision.
Yue Ping tried to hold an umbrella over him, but he was pushed away.
Shen Yanzhou closed his eyes gently, pressing his palms together in front of his lips.
Yue Ping looked at his bluish-purple, trembling lips and shook his head.
After the bodyguards found over a dozen Wuling Rongguangs, they finally used the key to open the trunk of one of them.
Shen Yanzhou rushed over without regard for anything.
He lifted the trunk lid.
