Chapter 26: Amidst Ten Thousand Specters, She Came Like Light
The scene of one man holding back ten thousand Specters was too magnificent and shocking.
Chi Wan watched intently.
Was this the strength of a male lead?

Then, the tens of thousands of black viscous pollution entities converged, merging into a massive whole, resembling a black giant standing over ten stories high.
It waved its arm, smashing heavily toward Shen Yu’s direction.
The giant tiger ran rapidly. Shen Yu, on the tiger’s back, leaped into the air. His sword was like flowing light, the aura pressing. He plunged it sharply into the “giant’s” knee, then twirled the long sword, slashing out several blades of light.
The “giant,” in pain, scattered to attack. They began to target his most vulnerable pointâhis Mental Power.
And at this moment, in the darkness, the sky full of Specters also went crazy, coordinating with the pollution entities to attack his Mental Power.
Shen Yu was instantly attacked from all sides.
For the first time, he faced such a difficult situation alone.
Thorn City, originally designated as an A-rank mission, was actually hiding a big one.

“Shen Yu!”
A clear voice suddenly rang out, as if coming from the horizon.
Shen Yu thought he was hearing hallucinations.
He turned to look.
In the sea of pollution entities where not a shred of light could be seen, a kitten covered in silver fur forcefully tore open a gap and leaped over!

The White Tiger leaped and caught the kitten’s body.
The tiny kitten lay on the huge White Tiger’s back, its figure almost invisible.

She looked at him with a pair of blue-violet eyes, sparkling and extremely pretty.
Shen Yu pursed his lips, stopping the thought of having the White Tiger carry her as well. A corner of his heart melted, and he nodded gently:

However, in the busyness, Chi Wan discovered a thread of silver light within her white Mental Power. The silver light was wispy, like unraveled silk; though not obvious, it was vivid.
She diverted a bit of attention to guide that silver light, only to see it drill into Shen Yu’s body as if uncontrolled!
The next second, whether it was Chi Wan’s illusion or not, she saw the light ability before her become even more formidable.
She was slightly startled and lowered her eyes to look at her palm.
But at this moment, the pollution entities suddenly switched targets, all aiming at Chi Wan!
Shen Yu noticed immediately.
He lowered his eyes to look at the girl behind him, extended his long arm, and scooped her into his arms.
Chi Wan, caught off guard by being picked up, was unstable and hugged his neck tightly.
She looked up and saw the angle of Shen Yu’s jaw as he focused on the battle.
He was actually… holding her with one arm while fighting with the other!
