Chapter 82: The Heart of the Sea God
The Sea God King’s voice seemed to come from the very bottom of the deep sea, vibrating so hard that Chi Wan’s eardrums throbbed.
She vaguely recalled that in the story centered around the female lead, the female lead herself was the key to saving the world.
Yun Qi did not speak, his head remaining bowed.
The Sea God King’s body drifted further away. The Sea God mark on his forehead glowed brilliantly, and the energy fluctuations from his body grew even more intense:

“I protected it.”
The Sea God King seemed to have received his final answer and smiled with relief.

“Father.”

“Move forward!”
The Sea God King’s power forcibly carved out a path for Yun Qi and Chi Wan.
At the end of the path was the end of the Lost Sea.
Yun Qi’s cerulean eyes stared fixedly ahead. Blood seeped from his tightly pursed lips, and his jaw was taut.
He knew there was no turning back.
Step by step, he walked forward. The pollutants on both sides of the path all looked respectfully at their Sea God Prince—the sole bloodline of the Sea God Race—and then, full of hope, they self-detonated.
This sacrificial mass suicide was long and grueling. Tens of millions of pollutants died together to allow one person to live.
At the end of the Lost Sea, the energy fluctuations were becoming impossible to suppress.
The roars of high-level pollutants were filled with rage and madness.
“The way to destroy the Lost Sea is—the complete death of every pollutant within it.”
In the seawater, the Sea God King slowly approached. Cracks in his body were still pouring out Sea God Power, but as he drew near Yun Qi, his pitch-black eyes suddenly widened with shock and disbelief:
“Your Sea God mark… your Sea God’s Heart?”
After seeing Yun Qi’s pale face, he reacted immediately:
“You used the Sea God’s Heart and Sea God’s Blood to rebuild the gravitational vortex of Planet Poseidon?”
Yun Qi looked at the Sea God King. “Father, even without the Sea God’s Heart, I can still fight perfectly well.”
The Sea God King remained silent.
His expression quickly stabilized, carrying a sense of relief and liberation. His tall body rose into the air as he turned to look back.
Behind him, across tens of thousands of miles of seabed, millions of corpses drifted in the water. Endless black blood rose like thick smoke.
Then, his body began to decompose!
It turned into shards!
A magnificent light erupted from his frame!
Even though this body had been turned into a pollutant for ten years, it still struggled to consume that powerful, ancient Sea God Power.
This time, the powerful Sea God Power did not pour out but surged toward Yun Qi’s body instead!
Immediately after, Chi Wan watched with wide eyes as a water-blue heart emerged from the Sea God King’s right chest. It flew straight toward Yun Qi and merged into his body through his right chest.
Yun Qi’s entire body erupted with a brilliant blue light.
Chi Wan shielded her eyes. She realized that before his death, the Sea God King had transferred his own Sea God’s Heart to Yun Qi.
With the transfer of the Heart, the Sea God King’s body rapidly rotted and decomposed. Amidst the mournful cries of the Kun-Whale, the Sea God King’s final voice echoed through the seabed:
“Child, the road ahead is yours to walk alone. Remember, follow your heart. Do not be like me, falling into long-lasting regret only after losing everything…”
Until the last piece of his body completely vanished, the entire seabed was left in dead silence, save for Chi Wan and Yun Qi.
Amongst the millions of corpses, a powerful energy fluctuation suddenly erupted at the end of the Lost Sea!
Yun Qi walked forward. The Sea God light on his body grew stronger and stronger. The Sea God mark on his forehead emitted a blue glow. The fish-bone blade in his palm began to expand until it transformed into a giant, ice-blue blade of bone.
Chi Wan followed closely behind.
Then, the black energy wave at the end was shattered!
