Chapter 90: Designated Sentinel
No matter what, she had to speed up her energy enhancement progress again.
With this thought, Chi Wan looked down from the glass wall.
She didn’t know if she didn’t look, but one look gave her a fright.
The sword training area and the boxing area were training with such fervor that the flow of people seemed to surge amidst energy fluctuations.

But the smile didn’t last for more than a few seconds before the Sentinel saw a very striking figure in the crowd behind her.
A well-tailored combat suit complemented his superior physique. His white hair was damp with sweat from training, losing its usual flowy look, and as he walked with casual, long strides, his posture was indescribably handsome.
It was Commander Shen.
The Sentinel couldn’t figure out why Commander Shen had come to their area, so he just put on a smile:
“Commander Shen.”
Shen Yu nodded to greet him, and then his gaze naturally fell on Chi Wan:
“Does Guide Chi Wan want to practice with short blades?”
Chi Wan turned to look, meeting a pair of smiling amber eyes:
“Yes.”
“What a coincidence. My short blade skill is also Rank Ten. I’ll teach you.”
The Sentinel was shocked upon hearing this.
It was common knowledge that Commanders were generally proficient in most weapons. If a Commander came, what was left for instructors like them to do?
The Sentinel immediately stepped back to make room for the two.
Chi Wan scratched her head, thinking it wasn’t a bad idea:
“Okay.”
Before her soft voice could land, the crowd behind them was in an uproar again.
His leather black combat suit was wide open, revealing chest muscles slick with sweat. In the faint darkness, Shi Ye’s black eyes were tightly locked onto Chi Wan’s voice. His Adam’s apple moved slightly as a magnetic voice spilled from his lips:
“What does Guide Chi Wan want to learn? I can teach you anything.”

Two days later.
The moment Qi Ye entered the combat readiness room, he saw Hei Mi swooning over a Leopard 8-01.
On the blackish-brown gun body, leopard print was evenly speckled; it exuded a domineering aura.
With just one look, Qi Ye recognized it as one from the latest batch of firearms.
The contribution points required for it were undoubtedly exorbitant.
“Such an expensive gun…”
You managed to get it. It seems you’ve been working hard lately.
Before he could say the rest, Hei Mi trembled all over in fright and fell to his knees with a “thud”:
“Commander, I was wrong.”
Qi Ye: “?”
Without doubting him, Hei Mi confessed without even being prompted:
“I was wrong. I shouldn’t have sold you out because of Commander Shen’s bribe. But I didn’t give him much help! I only said that Guide Chi Wan likes handsome men…”
Qi Ye thought back to the time Shen Yu tried to seduce Chi Wan in the car cabin, and his green eyes turned slightly cold.
He had visited the residential area and the soothing building where Chi Wan was located several times these past two days but failed to find her. She also hadn’t accepted his friend request on the light-computer for a long time. In the vast Alliance, as her Designated Sentinel, he was actually unable to find her whereabouts.
His gaze swept toward Hei Mi, who looked like he had done something wrong:
“Do you know where Guide Chi Wan is now?”
Hei Mi was stunned, then immediately opened his light-computer and pulled up Chi Wan’s dialogue box:
“I’ll ask her!”
Seeing that even Hei Mi had a communication channel with Chi Wan while he didn’t, Qi Ye felt even worse.
A Sentinel nearby walked over:
“Hey, Commander, I know where Guide Chi Wan is.”
Meeting Qi Ye’s gaze, the Sentinel reported truthfully:
“Guide Chi Wan has spent most of her time in the indoor training ground these past two days. I’ve seen it—Commander Shen and Commander Shi are personally tutoring her. In two days, she directly broke through to Rank Seven in short blades and Rank Five in swordsmanship!”
This Sentinel was also one who couldn’t read the room. He didn’t notice the low pressure around the Commander in front of him and grinned:
“It’s actually quite fun to watch. When I looked the day before yesterday, the two Commanders were still wearing proper combat suits while teaching. Later, one by one, their collars got lower and lower, lower and lower!”
“By yesterday, they were low enough to see their abs. That physique—tsk tsk tsk—we really can’t compare!”
“It’s just that we brothers keep feeling… why do the two Commanders look so much like peacocks spreading their tails?!”
Hei Mi closed his light-computer and directly rushed up to cover the Sentinel’s mouth:
“Keep it down, you!”
The Sentinel realized Qi Ye’s oddness belatedly and hurriedly asked:
“Is Commander Qi looking for Guide Chi Wan…? I just saw her going toward the soothing building with the two Commanders. You should go find her there!”
Qi Ye’s brow furrowed slightly as he opened the Alliance’s list of Designated Sentinels and Guides.
Sure enough, Chi Wan had already become the Designated Guide for Shen Yu and Shi Ye.
Not only that, but due to the shared contribution points from being a Designated Guide, Chi Wan’s contribution points had skyrocketed, already ranking fifth in the Alliance.
