Streaming Earth Cuisine In The Interstellar to Raise Star Cubs chapter 31.3

Part 3

The two exchanged blows. After several rounds, it wasn’t clear who was stronger.

Just then, Young Master Bai raised his fist to strike again. The pirate sneered, planning to use his full strength to counterattack once the blow arrived, ending the match.

Young Master Bai actually had no hope for this punch. From the exchange just now, he felt he was barely tying with the opponent.

But the opponent had strong combat experience. He hadn’t fought much usually; he feared he would be the one to lose in the end.

However, as Young Master Bai threw the punch, just as it was about to hit the opponent and be easily subdued, the opponent’s body suddenly went stiff. He took the fist directly to the face.

Instantly, the opponent’s nosebleed sprayed out. He flew backward heavily, smashed onto the ground, and… fainted directly?

Young Master Bai maintained his heroic punching pose, completely bewildered: ?? Holy crap, since when was I this strong?

The Star Pirate leader, who had been watching the show, frowned and straightened up. “Go check what happened.”

A subordinate checked and looked complicated. “Boss, he fainted.”

The leader laughed in anger. “Useless trash, embarrassing me. You, go meet him.”

The pointed pirate stepped forward immediately. He wasn’t as careless as the first one, but unfortunately, Young Master Bai—thinking his Spiritual Power had strengthened after recovering from the riot—shook off his previous listlessness and fought more and more bravely.

As another pirate fell, Young Master Bai clenched his fist and jumped. “Next! Come again!”

The Star Pirate leader’s face darkened. Just as he was about to speak, Ning Yunyi suddenly spoke up. “No way, we just started. Are you guys sore losers?”

The leader narrowed his eyes at Ning Yunyi. The latter wasn’t afraid at all, smiling as if to say if you don’t dare, you’re a coward.

The leader laughed angrily and pointed to the strongest subordinate under him. “You go.”

Unfortunately, this one also fell before long.

Now, the Star Pirate leader couldn’t sit still. With a dark face, no matter what Ning Yunyi said, he wouldn’t let this S-rank fight anymore.

Ning Yunyi didn’t speak up this time, feeling they had reached the leader’s limit. So when the leader said Young Master Bai should rest and let Ning Yunyi fight, Ning Yunyi agreed.

Young Master Bai quit while he was ahead, full of excitement, missing the complicated look the Big Cat gave him.

Ning Yunyi stepped out. Externally he was A-rank. When the leader pointed out an S-rank to fight, Young Master Bai frowned, more nervous than Ning Yunyi.

He planned to jump in the moment Ning Yunyi went down.

Soon, Ning Yunyi made his move. Before the opponent could react, he was instantly in front of them, punching directly at the temple.

In the blink of an eye, the opponent flew sideways, crashing heavily to the ground, unconscious.

This scene stunned everyone present.

The Star Pirate leader stood up abruptly, his face ugly. “You aren’t A-rank? You’re S-rank?”

Ning Yunyi said innocently, “I really am A-rank, at least that’s what my file says. But I haven’t tested in a long time. Maybe I ranked up?”

His demeanor made the leader laugh in anger. He had actually misjudged.

The leader looked grim and wanted to renege, but seeing Ning Yunyi’s half-smile, he waved his hand. “You go fight. The rest of you, wake up the ones who fainted.”

Once they wake up, see if I don’t kill this grandson.

Ning Yunyi saw through the leader’s thoughts and smiled silently. I’m afraid that’s impossible. The four subordinates who had fallen wouldn’t be waking up. Their Spiritual Power had been extracted the instant they were knocked out.

Ning Yunyi watched the opposing pirate who came at him with a knife without a word. Suddenly unleashing his full aura, in a split second—before anyone could see how he moved—he was right in front of him.

Five fingers spread wide, gripping the pirate’s neck.

Before the opponent could even strike, he was easily lifted by the neck and slammed heavily onto the ground, instantly losing consciousness.

The Star Pirate leader’s expression changed completely. “Get him! Capture him, dead or alive!”

Ning Yunyi tossed the pirate aside casually and glanced at the dumbfounded Young Master Bai. “What are you staring at? Move.”

He then looked at the other bewildered A-rank Spiritual Power users. “You guys too.”

Only with more people involved would it be easier to fudge the details so it wasn’t too unbelievable.

However, when they attacked, he would use spiritual energy to control the situation, ensuring everyone could take down a pirate.

Especially the S-rank Young Master Bai, to help him share the kill count.

Young Master Bai, brimming with confidence in his skills, immediately howled and charged out.

The Big Cat knew it couldn’t help right now; its duty was to protect Ning Xiao Miao.

Sure enough, a pirate tried to take the opportunity to grab the little one. The Big Cat pounced, clawing his face bloody, and with a tail whip, sent the pirate flying.

Ning Yunyi immediately extracted that pirate’s Spiritual Power; to others, it looked like he was just knocked out from the fall.

The Star Pirate leader finally sensed the danger, specifically from that smiling redhead. He had a premonition that this man was the variable.

He turned to head toward the ship’s interior, planning to close the cabin door and use the high-tech infrared defenses to deal with everyone inside.

He hadn’t taken them seriously at first, so he hadn’t used those defenses.

However, he didn’t make it to the door. Ning Yunyi appeared silently in front of him, five fingers closing around his neck.

It was clearly a simple movement. As the strongest existence among the pirates, a Double-S rank, the leader intended to gather a killing blow. But the moment he was grabbed, he found his entire body paralyzed, unable to move a muscle.

Ning Yunyi’s face, inches away, was still smiling. His emerald green eyes were dazzlingly bright with his smile. He simply stared at the pirate leader, but his words weren’t innocent at all. “Come on, say it again. Who did you want dead or alive?”

The leader wanted to speak, but his throat felt blocked, unable to breathe.

Ning Yunyi smiled even more gently, but in the leader’s eyes, he looked like a demon. “If you don’t listen, you’ll be thrown off the spaceship.”

The terror in the leader’s eyes intensified as his Spiritual Power was drained by Ning Yunyi, until he lost consciousness.

Ning Yunyi threw the man to the ground before rejoining the battle.

Shortly after, the group worked together to capture the remaining A-rank pirates alive. Young Master Bai and Ning Yunyi played the biggest roles.

But with the credit spread among so many people, it didn’t seem so abrupt.

After resolving everything, they untied the other passengers and tied up the pirates.

Ning Yunyi found the jammer, turned it off, and notified the Interstellar Federation Bureau.

Several hours later, the Federation Bureau sent 100 interstellar peacekeepers. Upon arrival, they found all the pirates tied up, and several S-rank users among them were… crippled?

Before they arrived, Ning Yunyi had cloaked the pirates whose power he had taken with a layer of S-rank Spiritual Power. It wouldn’t be detected, but these pirates would never wake up.

The peacekeepers escorted the passengers safely to the First Star, comforted and questioned them to confirm their identities, and then sent them home one by one.

Ning Yunyi’s group received special care, especially the two S-rank users who had contributed the most.

If not for their bravery and strategy—using single combat to confuse the pirates—this ship might not have landed safely.

They even thoughtfully updated Ning Yunyi’s ID from A-rank to S-rank Spiritual Power user.

Ning Yunyi didn’t care. He claimed A-rank before to avoid being high-profile. Now that he had to be high-profile out of necessity, it didn’t make much difference.

The peacekeepers were curious about why they were such good fighters. When they dropped them off at the entrance to the F District Underground City, they instantly understood. No wonder they had such rich combat experience; hanging around a place like this, how could they not be strong?
