Part 4
Ning Yunyi watched the peacekeepers leave in their hovercars before looking at the still-dazed Young Master Bai. “What’s wrong?”
Young Master Bai grinned foolishly. “I didn’t expect a reward for catching pirates. One million Star Coins… this is the first time I’ve earned money.”
Everyone who participated in the capture got a reward. The two of them did the most work, receiving one million each, while the others got fifty thousand each.
Young Master Bai looked at the Star Coins that had just arrived in his account. He hadn’t expected to make money on his first day at the First Star.
He immediately messaged City Lord Bai to let him know they had arrived.

City Lord Bai replied almost instantly: [??? I sent you to the First Star, did you rob someone on the way?]
[Bai Also Bai: This is the reward your son got for catching Star Pirates!]
[City Lord Bai: !!!]
[City Lord Bai: What? You encountered Star Pirates?]
While Young Master Bai was excitedly typing, Ning Yunyi’s group was suddenly stopped. “Who are you? You need a pass to enter the Underground City.”
Ning Yunyi looked at Young Master Bai, who ignored his father and took out a magnetic card.
The guard took it, swiped it, but the door didn’t open. He frowned and handed it back. “This is a void card. Access denied.”
Young Master Bai was confused. “Impossible! This was given to my father by your City Lord Xuan. How could it be void?”
The guard’s next words confused Young Master Bai even more. “City Lord Xuan? What City Lord Xuan? There’s no such person here.”
Ning Yunyi looked over and noticed the guard’s eyes flicker when he said there was no City Lord Xuan, before pretending to be calm and blocking them again.
Ning Yunyi narrowed his eyes. It seemed that in places City Lord Bai didn’t know about, a lot had happened in the First Star’s Underground City.
Ning Yunyi stopped Young Master Bai’s impulse to argue. “Since he’s not here, maybe we got the wrong place. Maybe it’s the Underground City in District E. Nephew, did you mistake District E for District F? Let’s go ask at District E.”
Young Master Bai recovered quickly and obediently followed Ning Yunyi away.
After walking a distance, Young Master Bai frowned and asked, “Could something have happened to Old Bai’s half-fortune?”
Ning Yunyi didn’t answer. He didn’t know the specific reasons, but one thing was certain: there was definitely a problem in the F District Underground City.
City Lord Xuan existed, but the Underground City was likely no longer under his control.
Young Master Bai’s expression was grave. Following Ning Yunyi’s instructions, he began contacting City Lord Bai.
When he opened his wristband and saw over a hundred unread messages: ??
Young Master Bai’s eyes widened. Crap. He seemed to have mentioned encountering pirates and then forgot about his old father.
Young Master Bai quickly replied, explaining the situation and asking about matters on this end.
City Lord Bai looked complicated. “The last time I contacted him was half a month ago. He didn’t mention any trouble then. After that, because of Ah Cheng’s accident, I couldn’t focus on anything else, so I didn’t contact him.”
Seeing that no other news could be obtained from City Lord Bai, Ning Yunyi planned to find a way to get a pass card first, enter the Underground City, and investigate.
“Does that person look familiar? Is he from the same spaceship?” While Ning Yunyi was lost in thought, Young Master Bai nudged him to look in a direction.
Ning Yunyi looked up. Sure enough, three people were standing at the entrance of the Underground City. The young man in the lead had changed his outfit, but that iconic green hair tied in a small braid was indeed memorable.
The young man was tilting his head, listening to the two talking. The ear stud on his profile was also familiar.
That was correct; it was indeed the passenger from earlier.
The person impatiently took the card handed by the two and was about to swipe it when a voice called out, “Wait a moment!”
A white shadow flashed by, wrapping an arm around Green Hair’s neck. “Why are you here early? I’ve been waiting for you for a long time!”
The young man was about to get angry, but turning his head and seeing Young Master Bai, his eyes lit up. “It’s you? Is Mr. Bai here too?”
Thinking of how he was tied up in the corner of the spaceship, thinking his end was near, when suddenly Mr. Bai, sporting the same colorful red hair as him, swooped in and saved them—it was simply a life-saving grace!
Ning Yunyi walked over leading Ning Xiao Miao and the Big Cat. Meeting the enthusiastic, puppy-dog eyes of the green-haired youth looking over eagerly, he coughed lightly. “Weren’t you sent back to District A?”
The young man’s name was Hao Yan. He was a rich heir several generations down. He didn’t lack money and liked to wander around.
However, he had no Spiritual Power. Usually, his family arranged bodyguards for him, but this time he deliberately slipped away to play on a C-class planet and almost got killed on the way back.
He came here because he had just escaped a disaster. A friend heard he almost had an accident and said they would celebrate his survival here.
He used to play in District A, but after being caught and grounded by his family, he changed to District F, the furthest from District A, to avoid being caught when he snuck out.
After Hao Yan explained, he leaned in excitedly. “Is Mr. Bai here to play too?”
Ning Yunyi nodded. “Yes. You said your friend is here too. Do you have a pass for this place?”
Hao Yan immediately responded, “Yes, yes, yes. These two are my friend’s bodyguards, here to pick me up.”
Ning Yunyi said, “We want to go in, but our pass card is useless. Can we go in with you?”
Hao Yan naturally had no objection. He immediately looked at the guard, changing his previous smile to a fierce look. “Can we?”
The guard turned pale but didn’t dare offend Hao Yan. “Young Master… Hao, naturally… naturally you can.”
Ning Yunyi could see that Hao Yan’s status wasn’t low. He tipped his chin at Young Master Bai.
Young Master Bai immediately leaned in, grabbing the back of the guard’s neck and pulling him closer, smiling. “We were brought in by Young Master Hao. We haven’t been here before this, and didn’t ask you anything. Got it?”
The guard heard the threat loud and clear. Thinking it was better to avoid trouble, and since these were people brought in by Young Master Hao whom he couldn’t afford to offend, he agreed repeatedly.
Thus, Ning Yunyi’s group followed Hao Yan into the Underground City.
Although this Underground City was in District F, it was the First Star after all. It was several times larger than the one on the Garbage Star. Everywhere they looked, it was bustling with activity, with people coming and going.
It was like a city independent from the rest.
Passing through the entrance tunnel, the view suddenly opened up. There were roads leading in all directions and alleys everywhere. Only straight ahead could an eight-story magnificent building be seen.
This was Young Master Bai’s first time here too. It was completely different from where he had been living, and he was shocked.
His old father had… half his fortune here?
