Part 5
Young Master Bai ran around excitedly: “No, definitely stronger than 3S. Wow, the ceiling of the entire interstellar strength is said to be Marshal Zong. Are you Marshal Zong coming down to experience the life of common people?”
Young Master Bai was too excited, so much so that after he finished speaking, Ning Yunyi, Ning Xiao Miao, and the Big Cat fell silent collectively.
Ning Yunyi: He can really make things up. Where does this head of red hair look like Marshal Zong?
Ning Xiao Miao: What is cousin talking about? Can’t understand.
Big Cat: …
Young Master Bai turned around abruptly. Originally wanting to count on his fingers and chatter, he suddenly saw Ning Yunyi’s flamboyant flame-red hair, with a few strands sticking up due to the fight just now. He wilted. Okay, he thought too much. His uncle had strength, but saying his uncle was Marshal Zong, really didn’t look like it at all.
At this time, Ning Yunyi stood up slowly, holding the little meow cub, and patted his shoulder: “Guess properly yourself, just don’t say it out. Alright, this castle is left to you. I decided to take the opposite one. Rest well tonight.” Flying in space for so long, finally reaching the ground and fighting for so long, he had to rest well when going back. He just looked around here; it was very clean. City Lord Xuan should have sent someone to clean it usually. Presumably, the other one was the same; could sleep upon return.
Young Master Bai immediately followed eagerly: “Uncle, you just left me here alone?”
Ning Yunyi wasn’t soft-hearted at all, pointing to the castle visible ahead: “A few minutes’ walk, how is it leaving you?”
Young Master Bai bit the corner of his clothes, but thinking of Uncle Bai’s fierce combat power, he still obediently watched his uncle’s family leave. Suddenly remembering something, he shouted: “Uncle, do I still have canned food to eat?”
Ning Yunyi looked back at him: “Bring it to you tomorrow.”
The Big Cat pricked up its ears hearing canned food, looking back at Young Master Bai with a complex expression. So he’s grabbing food from me.
Hearing he could eat fragrant and delicious canned food again tomorrow, Young Master Bai immediately jumped up and down excitedly. Suddenly he shivered inexplicably, as if being stared at by something. He rubbed his arms; it was quite cold here, better go back to the castle.
The Big Cat then withdrew its gaze with satisfaction.
When Ning Yunyi, the two people and one cat arrived at the castle, they opened the door with a magnetic card. The heavy door opened from inside. Sure enough, it was spotless inside. Only a robot lit up hearing the movement and walked over here.
Ning Yunyi swiped again according to the magnetic card given by City Lord Bai. The robot turned around, moved its robotic arm, and transmitted a mechanical voice: “Welcome master home.”
Ning Yunyi held the little meow cub to scan the whole body: “This is the little master.”
The robot immediately entered the data, simultaneously repeating the mechanical sound: “Little master.”
Ning Yunyi put down the little meow cub and looked at the Big Cat. The Big Cat froze, suddenly having an ominous premonition. The next moment, Ning Yunyi gave a strange laugh, grabbed it, and actually hugged the Big Cat entirely from the back, letting the robot scan.
The Big Cat was about to explode all over. Immediately it felt Ning Yunyi’s chin resting on the back of its head. Even the tips of its two ears could touch the warm and cool touch of his skin, exceptionally delicate, contrary to its full body of fur.
Ning Yunyi waited for the robot to finish scanning and enter the data: “This is Big Cat.”
Robot repeated: “Big Cat master.”
Ning Yunyi saw the Big Cat’s exploded look, put it down, and clicked his tongue: “Won’t drop you, look how scared you are.”
The Big Cat finally recovered, still in a trance. It was actually picked up by a person like this. That’s fine, but picked up completely suspended in the air? The Big Cat gave Ning Yunyi a complicated look: It will never admit it is a person.
Because it was too late, plus unfamiliar with the castle, Ning Yunyi brought various cans that could be eaten directly, as well as compressed biscuits and milk. Two people and one cat solved dinner. Finally, they slept in two guest rooms on the first floor first. The reason for two rooms was that the little meow cub was unfamiliar and uneasy just arriving here. Ning Yunyi simply slept with the little cub.
The Big Cat could only watch the big and small close the door, missing its cat nest a bit. Only when returning to its own guest room next door, as soon as it entered, it found a new cat nest on the bed. Exactly the same as its previous one, except it was new.
The Big Cat froze there entirely. After a long time, it glanced next door, jumped onto the cat nest, curled up there, feeling the steady breathing next door, and fell asleep at some point.
This night, the two people and one cat slept exceptionally well, so much so that not only Ning Yunyi and his son, but the Big Cat also rarely slept until the sun was high.
They slept well, but Young Master Bai in the next castle woke up at dawn. Thinking of that sentence [Tomorrow, canned food, eat], he excitedly almost rushed over in the early morning. Reason made him endure until dawn, sitting eagerly at the castle gate looking at the opposite castle.
As a result, waiting until daylight there was no movement. He turned around anxiously. Finally, he simply ran to the opposite side. Standing at the door, he hesitated. In case they hadn’t woken up yet, would ringing the doorbell wake people up?
Finally thought about it, looked around and saw no one. Looking at the familiar castle structure in front of him, he went around to a place. Sure enough, he saw a palm-sized rabbit hole. He would stick to the skylight above to see if his uncle woke up. If he saw him awake, he would come down.
So, the next moment a small rabbit drilled out from a pile of clothes, whoosh scurried up a narrow passage outside the castle, climbing up straight to the skylight transmitting light above the hall.
Ning Yunyi finally woke up. Ning Xiao Miao followed step by step, still a bit unawake, swaying, but refused to leave. As soon as the father and son came out of the room door, the Big Cat immediately came out from next door and followed.
So in the late morning, Ning Yunyi took a small one and a cat to start washing up. When almost done, looked at the sky, not far from noon. Morning… just continue eating a can plus biscuits and milk.
When the two people and one cat sat there opening cans, the Big Cat’s was ordinary cat canned food. Ning Yunyi and the little meow cub’s were human nutritional cans.
With the crisp sound of opening cans, Ning Yunyi always felt creepy somewhere, like being stared at by something. Another sound of opening a can, the feeling of being stared at was clearer. He narrowed his eyes, suddenly looked up towards a place.
He saw outside the transparent glass window suspended around the first-floor hall, a small rabbit lying entirely on the window. Almost the entire rabbit face was squeezed deformed. Beady eyes glared angrily at Ning Yunyi, claws stretched out scratching the glass outside desperately, roaring silently: “Ji!”
