The Early-Deceased Mother of the Male Lead CHAPTER 5 part 2

Part 2

What the heck, Master, is this the amulet you mentioned?!

While simplicity is key, and true masters don’t stick to formalities, this is a little too perfunctory, isn’t it?!

19,888 isn’t much, a small amount of money, but using nicer paper and ink would be better, right?!

Jin Youqian’s pupils dilated; his expression was almost breaking into a smile.

But on closer inspection, the Master’s writing was beautiful… No, not beautiful, it had a special aura.

Looking at the Master’s calligraphy, powerful and unrestrained.

Although he couldn’t understand the characters, Jin Youqian’s faith in the Master was restored.

In a blink of an eye, the amulet was finished.

Luo Wenshu gave the leftover materials to Luo Xingyu, while she folded the finished amulet, tied it with red thread, and secured it with a bit of spiritual energy.

“Keep it close to your body. When you feel it getting hot, don’t hesitate, leave immediately. You may encounter unusual situations, don’t be afraid, don’t be misled by appearances; it will guide you to the right path.”

Luo Wenshu handed the amulet to Jin Youqian.

He took it, examining it left and right… unable to see anything special.

“Master Luo, if I need to keep it close to my body, what do I do when I shower? Should I wrap it in cling film?” Jin Youqian considered this for a few seconds before asking.

There were no instructions, if it got damaged, it would be a real disaster if he couldn’t get a replacement.

“No,” Luo Wenshu shook her head slightly, “Ordinary water and fire won’t affect it.”

Jin Youqian was immediately relieved; the items created by a true master were indeed different.

“What do you want for lunch?” After the transaction, Luo Wenshu turned her attention to Luo Xingyu, asking.

Perhaps having money made one extravagant; upon hearing Luo Wenshu’s question, Luo Xingyu’s mind flashed with various grand meals.

But only for a moment, he quickly suppressed those thoughts, “I want braised pork.”

Luo Xingyu originally intended to buy groceries and cook himself. He woke up early, washed the rice, and put it in the rice cooker; by now the rice should be ready.

However, since Luo Wenshu had only just arrived and didn’t have time to communicate with him, upon hearing his request, she decided to take him to a nearby restaurant.

Jin Youqian, already cherishing the amulet and putting his expensive necklace in his pocket, eagerly responded to the Master’s question.

“Master, I, I, I know which restaurants in the city are good and which are not!”

Luo Wenshu glanced at him, then nodded, “Then I’ll leave it to you.”

“No trouble at all!” Jin Youqian shook his head vigorously.

The three hailed a taxi to a five-star hotel in the city center.

Jin Youqian was a frequent, even esteemed guest; hotel staff greeted them warmly from afar.

He politely responded, then turned to the Master.

“Are we eating here?” Luo Wenshu asked.

Although the original owner wasn’t from Chunsan, she had been here for two years and worked at a hotel, so she knew the area.

The hotel’s top floor had a restaurant. Whether the food was good or not was uncertain, but it was undeniably expensive.

Jin Youqian nodded, “Yes, the restaurant on the top floor.”

But the Master shook her head, “Not today, it’s too high.”

“Ah?” Jin Youqian was stunned.

“Let’s find a place nearby,” the Master said.

Jin Youqian’s puzzled expression was too obvious, and Luo Xingyu quietly explained, “…Mom’s not having a good day today.”

“Ah?” Jin Youqian was stunned again, but quickly reacted, “Oh…okay!”

He recalled what had happened just after the Master had stopped him, so he didn’t dwell on it, turning to lead them to a nearby restaurant, located in a quiet area of the bustling city, with a lovely ambiance.

The manager personally greeted them and led them to a third-floor private room.

Along the way, incidents continued to occur.

A malfunctioning elevator, a nail under the stair carpet, an uncontrolled food cart carrying hot soup…it seemed all of the world’s misfortunes were concentrated here, all targeting the Master.

The Master, however, remained calm and avoided them all, just as she had done on the street.

The manager was sweating profusely, reprimanding staff while profusely apologizing.

“It’s fine,” Luo Wenshu said calmly.

Jin Youqian also waved his hand, “Just a few minor accidents.”

He was known for his easygoing nature, never pretending to be magnanimous while harboring resentment; the manager was somewhat relieved to hear him say this.

Regardless, problems had occurred at the hotel, and the necessary apologies were made.

Therefore, the meal became the manager’s treat.

In the private room, Luo Wenshu looked at the menu, ordered three dishes and a soup, including the braised pork that Luo Xingyu wanted, then handed the menu to Jin Youqian.

He added two more dishes, “These are their signature dishes, they taste pretty good, Master, please try them, to see if they suit your taste.”

Five dishes and a soup may sound excessive, but it wasn’t, as these upscale restaurants often had small portion sizes.

The food arrived steadily; during the wait, Jin Youqian finally couldn’t contain his curiosity, “Master, may I ask if you live such… exciting days every day?”

He reflected on the Master’s encounters; any single incident would be devastating for an ordinary person, let alone so many at once.

“No,” Luo Wenshu shook her head, “Today is a special circumstance.”

Jin Youqian pricked up his ears, ready to listen attentively.

After all, he was her first customer, straightforward and generous; Luo Wenshu didn’t mind satisfying his curiosity.

“Karma, you know?” she asked.

Jin Youqian nodded obediently, “I’ve heard of it!”

“I saved someone…” Luo Wenshu briefly recounted what happened last night, omitting the landlord’s family’s name.

“…That’s how it is, the karma that falls upon you needs to be repaid.”

Jin Youqian sighed inwardly; being a Master wasn’t easy.

Soon, he thought of another question, “Master, you said I have a blood disaster, so by helping me, do you also have to… repay?”

If that were the case, the Master only charged him 19,888 yuan, an absolute bargain, incredibly kind!

Luo Wenshu narrowed her eyes slightly, “Hard to say.”

“Huh?” Jin Youqian was stunned.
