Chapter 35: Oh, That Little Mouth of Wen Rong’s~ part 1
“Brother! The mission is here.”
[Mm.]
The gloomy sky suddenly cleared up. A smile appeared on Wen Rong’s face. “Can I trigger several missions at the same time? That way I can get lots of points.”
[…] Host, have you actually realized you are being bullied?!
At the same time, the reopened Black Pigeon Forum indeed displayed everyone’s real names.
The post pinned to the top was the explosive “shoe licking” one posted by the person claiming to be Wen Rong that day. Now, Lin Qizheng’s name was revealed right next to it. The crowd was speechless.
Just as everyone was preparing to furiously scold Lin Qizheng, Lin Qizheng started a new thread.
[Forum Real-Name System, Come Watch Some Fun.]
Everyone clicked into the forum and saw a large batch of screenshots shared by Lin Qizheng. They couldn’t help but be amused.
[So Garbled Code Brother is actually Shi Ye.]
[??]
[Shi Ye and Qi Yuan cursing at each other anonymously. Qi Yuan even asked Shi Ye if he was afraid of opposing Shi Ye, hahahahahaha.]
[Isn’t the funniest part that someone in the Tennis Club was acting as Zhao Zeryang’s dog while simultaneously cursing Zhao Zeryang?]
Laughing along, the gossip suddenly turned onto themselves.
[Damn, I found out I cursed at my brother in a post before.]
[Are you as miserable as me? My post roasting my brother was seen by him; he’s knocking on my dorm door right now.]
[My confession hole to my crush was seen by the person themselves. What to do? Urgent.]
Who could still laugh now?
Class dismissed. Students, having undergone the double blow of schoolwork and the forum, walked into the cafeteria with drooping heads, like zombies unable to find food in the apocalypse.
The moment Wen Rong walked into the cafeteria, he felt as if he had fallen into a dead, silent sea. Even the incandescent lights overhead felt somewhat cold and eerie.
Yet this sea miraculously parted a path for him—every black uniform deliberately kept a distance from him.
The expected mission didn’t start. Wen Rong was a bit curious. His gaze swept over face after face, discovering expressions of disgust and fear.
Wen Rong really couldn’t figure it out. “Brother, why do they seem very afraid of me?”
[Because the Host caused Zhao Zeryang to be expelled, and the Host has fought twice. Everyone thinks the Host is very good at fighting.]
So that’s it!
Wen Rong felt deeply encouraged because he had successfully made others afraid to bully him.
But he was also a bit troubled.
If these people delayed making a move, his mission would be ruined.
Would provoking them like he provoked Zhao Zeryang work?
Wen Rong grabbed some food and sat down to consider the feasibility of this.
“Afraid of what? He has a Red Card; beating him up isn’t a violation.”
A strange voice sounded behind Wen Rong.
“Isn’t the system message sent by the Student Council obvious enough? It’s all because of his big mouth that the forum became real-name.”
“Because of him, I fell out with my brother.”
Guessing from the approaching footsteps that a group of boys was shoving their way closer, Wen Rong’s face almost buried into his rice—he was trying hard to suppress the corners of his mouth from rising.
Points!
Thump, thump, thump.
His heartbeat was heavy. He had never been as excited as he was now.
“Forget it, don’t cause trouble. He even got Zhao Zeryang expelled.”
Don’t go!
Points!
Wen Rong didn’t have time to think and stood up quickly. “Stop.”
The boys froze.
They weren’t wearing white sportswear; Wen Rong hadn’t seen them before. But when his gaze swept over the nametags on their chests, he immediately remembered—these names all liked to echo Zhao Zeryang on the forum.
Recalling Shi Ye’s expression, Wen Rong tried hard to furrow his brows and lowered his voice to ask the boys, “What do you mean ‘I got Zhao Zeryang expelled’?”
Perhaps when Shi Ye made this expression, it was truly terrifying. Wen Rong imitated it to seventy or eighty percent. His face, which usually looked gentle and easy to bully, suddenly looked a bit eerie, startling the boys.
“Is… isn’t it true?”
“Of course not—he hit me with a tennis ball first, then fantasized about me on the forum. His behavior was atrocious, which led to his expulsion. You support him only because you are the same kind of people as him, not because what you say is right.”
“You’re farting! Zhao Zeryang was just practicing normally. You stood… stood there yourself… making a fuss over nothing.”
“The Student Council and the Jury have already made a judgment on this matter. Zhao Zeryang was penalized with a Yellow Card.”
“We…” The boys were speechless and indignant. They turned to leave again.
Wen Rong called them back. “Stop. You should apologize to me.”
“What?”
“You slandered me just now; you have to apologize to me. Zhao Zeryang was expelled because he has character issues. I am the victim. You cannot say I caused his expulsion.”
“You—”
The leading boy walked angrily toward Wen Rong. The moment he raised his fist, he hesitated, looked down at Wen Rong’s food tray, and then dumped the leftover food from his own plate into it.
“My servants love packing up the leftovers at home. I think you should like it too. I’m bestowing it on you.”
Wen Rong asked anxiously in his mind, “Brother, Brother, how is it? Is the mission completed?”
[No.]
Is this not enough?!
Wen Rong hesitated between points and morality for a few seconds. He took a deep breath, grabbed the plate, and aimed it at the boy’s chest—
There was leftover pasta in the plate, coated in black pepper sauce. When the whole plate was slammed on, strands of noodles slid stickily down the black uniform onto the boy’s shiny leather shoes.
Sounds of sharp intakes of breath rang out frequently in the air.
The boy’s eyes turned red. “You—”
Wen Rong interrupted him. “I know you’ve been calling me ‘wifey’ on the forum.”
The boy instantly cowed. “I didn’t!”
“The forum is real-name now.”
“I…” The boy couldn’t refute it for a moment. Then, thinking of something, his eyes darted, and he hooked his lips into a smile. “I was just saying it casually. You took it seriously? You don’t have feelings for me, do you? Let me tell you, I can have as many commoners like you as I want.”
“Yes, I took it seriously. So I think you are nauseating, whether online or in reality.”
“Wha…” The boy caught a glimpse of the people around him laughing at him and felt instantly humiliated. Disregarding reason, he punched Wen Rong in the face.
Wen Rong fell backward. Unsteady, he sat on the ground.
[Beep—Mission Completed]
“F*ck me, you’ll leave the school one day. Believe it or not, I’ll get someone to kill—”
Before the voice fell, a fist struck the boy’s face.
The force was like an arrow piercing the sky. The boy rolled two meters away and lay face down on the ground. The surrounding students retreated hastily.
“Kill your grandpa.”
Shi Ye, who had appeared at some point, walked up to the boy, grabbed his collar, and lifted him up. His sharp brows were knitted tight. “Zhao Zeryang’s expulsion is a good thing for me, so don’t lay a hand on the Special Recruit, understand?”
The beaten boy’s cheek was already swollen and red. He opened his mouth to answer, but saliva mixed with blood flowed out, and he coughed violently in pain.
“I’m asking you—do you understand?”
The boy nodded in panic.
Only then did Shi Ye throw the boy aside and step over him. Passing Wen Rong, he prepared to extend a hand. Just as he raised it a small arc, he paused, clenched it into a fist, and shoved it back into his pocket.
Behind Shi Ye, Leon walked slowly to Wen Rong and pulled him up. “Where did you get hit?”
Wen Rong shook his head. “I’m fine.”
He had a high tolerance for pain. As long as it wasn’t a muscle man like Shi Ye or the school bully from his old school, he wouldn’t feel much pain.
And he was very happy now because he had points.
Of course, a problem came with it.
If he had to get beaten to complete missions, it was a big loss, meaning he would have to be beaten every day in the future.
That definitely wouldn’t do. Being able to tolerate pain didn’t mean he was willing to live the days of being beaten daily again.
He expressed concern about his future points.
“What do you want to eat?”
“…?”
“Asking what you want to eat? Didn’t you not finish eating just now?”
Wen Rong patted his face to pull himself back from his thoughts. looking up, he saw Shi Ye sitting opposite him gloomily, his gaze fierce.
Wen Rong shrank his neck. Just as he was about to answer Senior Leon, he suddenly felt an itch on his philtrum.
