The Foolish Bookworm of the Aristocratic Boys’ School chapter 99.2

Part 2

This hotel was top-tier even in the entire Federation, possessing a history longer than the Federation itself. Legend had it that when the Empire existed, East Horse Island was a gift from a monarch to his mistress. There was only one manor built on the island. Not only was the road lined with roses of various colors, but looking down from the sky, one would discover the entire layout of the hotel resembled a blooming rose.

His mother’s tea party had been held in this romantic place, and Leon had lost his first tooth here.

These were side notes. More importantly, the price of ten thousand a night wasn’t expensive for him, but for Wen Rong, it was definitely a significant expense.

Why would Wen Rong book such a hotel?

When the car arrived at the entrance, two hotel staff approached. One helped park the car, and the other took the luggage from the trunk and placed it on a cart.

Turning his head to see Wen Rong looking at him expectantly, Leon seemed to understand the reason.

He pretended to be there for the first time and praised Wen Rong’s arrangement: “The hotel looks very nice.”

Those shallow eyes lit up instantly.

Leon’s smile deepened. He felt Wen Rong was truly a sincere child, spending a large sum of money simply hoping he would be satisfied.

But this smile was quickly interrupted by the front desk staff’s voice.

“Room 307, check-in for two. May I have your ID cards, please?”

Wait—

One room?

Why didn’t Wen Rong tell him in advance?

“Senior, your ID.”

Leon didn’t mind that Wen Rong had only booked one room. Wen Rong paying out of pocket for this hotel already flattered him; he just hadn’t expected that he would be sleeping in the same room as Wen Rong for the next two days.

“Senior?”

Leon woke from his dreamlike state and took out his ID to hand to the staff.

The ID beeped on the machine. “Hello, I see you are a Black Card user. You can be directly upgraded to a suite—”

“No need,” Leon interrupted the staff.

The staff member was slightly surprised, paused for two seconds, then lowered their head to continue processing the formalities.

Once the procedures were done, the staff member pushing the luggage led the two upstairs.

The elevator hall, mirrored on all four sides, reflected Leon’s gaze drifting to the floor, acting completely out of sorts.

This wasn’t like him.

He was trying to calm himself down.

Booking one room was normal. Both were boys; there was nothing wrong with staying in the same room during a trip.

Before Wen Rong enrolled, he had found out that children in the welfare home slept in communal bunks and used large communal baths. Wen Rong was surely used to living with the same sex.

More importantly, Wen Rong’s personality was very straight.

He wouldn’t even consider what might happen sleeping in the same room as someone who liked him.

As the elevator reached the third floor with a ding, Leon’s smartwatch began to vibrate.

It was warning him that his heart rate was too high.

He pressed down on the watch to silence it, forcing himself to appear calm.

“Senior, let’s rest for half an hour and charge our phones. Then we’ll go downstairs to eat the buffet.”

“I booked a package, so the room rate includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.”

“The internet says their buffet is especially delicious, with live barbecue that we don’t have at school.”

“En,” Leon responded dully.

Click—

The door opened. Two side-by-side large beds were imprinted in his azure eyes, causing his pupils to constrict.

Upholding the reputation of “Rose Manor,” the East Horse Island Hotel kept rose elements everywhere. Even the bedsheets were sprinkled with rose petals.

It was clearly a hotel feature, yet it gave the illusion of premeditation, hooking one’s thoughts into a frenzy.

It was as if they were a young couple, and Wen Rong was already lying on that bed, breathing defenselessly.

A moment later, Leon pulled the corner of his mouth helplessly.

He finally realized that his strange reaction wasn’t nervousness.

His heart, upon realizing he would be sleeping with Wen Rong, was screaming in excitement.

“Senior, do you want to sleep for ten minutes?”

“No.” Leon watched the staff move the luggage onto the carpet, his gaze following to the door. “Let’s go eat directly. Senior is hungry.”

“Then I’ll use the restroom.”

“En.”

Leon nodded. Hearing the door close, his watch began to vibrate again.

If they shared a bathroom, then when Wen Rong came out from a shower tonight, there would be many, many scents left inside.

It might be the smell of shampoo, maybe body wash, perhaps toothpaste.

But those were all there because of Wen Rong.

“Wen Rong,” Leon raised his voice.

“What is it, Senior?”

“I suddenly feel a bit sleepy. Let’s ask the hotel to bring the food up. We can eat and nap before going out.”

“Okay, Senior.”

He paused. “Senior—we’re only going to the amusement park tomorrow. If you’re too tired, you can rest in the hotel all afternoon.”

Leon walked to the floor-to-ceiling window and reached out to close the heavy blackout curtains.

The room darkened. Only the warm kick lights under the bed remained lit, permeating the room vaguely like perfume.

He dug pajamas out of his suitcase and threw them on the bed, reaching out to unzip his jacket.

Zip—

Click—

Two sounds rang out simultaneously.

Only the zipper sound was long, while the door opening was short, followed immediately by approaching footsteps.

“Why did Senior close the curtains—oh, you’re changing. What do you want to eat? I’ll order.”

“Hmm…” Leon pretended to think, intentionally dragging out the sound, as slow as his unbuttoning of his shirt.

Wen Rong looked at him, as expected.

The phone screen illuminated his glasses, obscuring his beautiful face.

Snap—

Leon pressed the switch at the head of the bed.

Warm ambient lights on the wall projected sparsely from the side, bringing Wen Rong’s face back into clarity.

His brows were clear, devoid of distracting thoughts.

Leon stood with his shirt wide open, feigning contemplation.

The air was silent, and Wen Rong’s gaze remained motionless.

“Wen Rong…”

“Senior, I didn’t expect you to have muscles.”

Two voices spoke at once.

Leon: “…”

“I envy you so much. Shi Ye didn’t come to school, so I forgot to go to the tennis club to play. I still haven’t managed to work out any definition.”

“…”

Leon didn’t know whether he should share “how to build muscle” with Wen Rong or make him understand that his behavior was called seduction.

Facing a little boy who simply admired muscles, Leon had the illusion he was “committing a crime.”

“Although I don’t have pecs, I used to run a lot, so I have some muscle on my legs. I’ll show you.”

“…”

There were many things Leon wanted to do, but a muscle comparison between straight men was absolutely not one of them.

Wen Rong sat down on the opposite bed, bent over, and pulled up his pant leg, revealing a long, slender calf.

His muscles grew obediently, almost on the same vertical line as his knee. If he stood up, they would be beautiful, straight legs that possessed power.

“They seem tighter than before.”

Wen Rong took off his shoes, lifting one leg and folding it onto the bed to carefully admire the sudden increase in muscle.

But sitting by the bed like that, with one foot on the ground and the other folded on the edge, was a posture very suitable for having one’s legs lifted for intercourse.

Leon’s watch vibrated again.

Brain cells jumped from the top of his head and landed in his lower abdomen.

“Wen Rong.” He held his breath, lowering his head to change clothes quickly.

“Eh? Senior.”

Leon turned and walked into the bathroom. “I’ll eat whatever, you order anything. It should be here by the time I shower, right?”

“Mhm, I’ll ask them to hurry.”

Since he had to drive later, Leon didn’t take a cold shower. He simply let warm water pour over his head, holding his breath to let both his thoughts and body immerse completely.

Wen Rong was straight.

He couldn’t do anything out of line when Wen Rong had no wicked thoughts.

That would cause Wen Rong to doubt himself—perhaps thinking “Is there something wrong with me?” or “Did I not observe boundaries?”

Leon didn’t want to bring any negative influence to Wen Rong at all.

After lunch, the two strolled around the famous sights of District 2 in the afternoon.

Fortunately, it was winter. Pedestrians wore hats and masks, so no one noticed anything special about him and Wen Rong.

Only when they drank hot tea by the roadside did the owner recognize Wen Rong. With excitement, he wanted to take a photo with him.
