The Outcast: He’s A Monster But A Universal Charmer chapter 18

Chapter 18: Are You Busy?

Chi Wu wasn’t terribly panicked about Zhang Chulan’s disappearance. However, given that the other party had been throwing a tantrum recently, and he needed to return to Wudang, he wasn’t willing to drag this out.

Teacher Xia Yumian said “emotions shouldn’t be bottled up.” Maybe it would be fine if he let Zhang Chulan scold him or hit him, although they hadn’t fought since becoming adults.

Thinking this way, Chi Wu set off. But before that, he made a phone call.

No answer.

“Hm?” Chi Wu thought for a moment, then called Xu Si directly.

“Ei, I thought you were calling because you thought it through. You’re asking about that kid? He should be at the rental apartment Baby rented, right?”

“Address?”

“Uncle isn’t willing to tell you that.” Xu Si heard the urgency in Chi Wu’s tone. Like catching Chi Wu’s tail, his tone suddenly became strange.

“Uncle is getting nothing out of this. You haven’t tried to understand me, have you? I, Xu Si, never do business at a loss.”

“If you can get a temporary worker quota, I’ll agree to join.”

“You kid really won’t take a loss at all, making it so hard for me,” Xu Si chuckled. “Each region only has one temporary worker quota.”

“Then forget it.”

“Don’t be like that.” Xu Si had finally gotten the person to waver; how could he give up?

“You know I’m considerate of you still being in school. Alright, Uncle will go fight for it.”

Xu Si’s voice became much gentler this time, like a hunter placing a bit of bait while waiting for prey.

“Baby’s address is at XX…”

“Thanks.” Chi Wu hung up the phone.

Xu Si held a lollipop in his mouth, shaking his feet on the table, the corner of his mouth tilting up.

“What an impolite little brat. Don’t you know to wait for Uncle to hang up first?”

He let out an ambiguous scoff. “Needs to be trained.”

Chi Wu got the address and rushed over.

Clouds increased as time passed. Occasionally, a few wisps of light breeze swept through, offering a little coolness in the gaps.

Chi Wu actually didn’t think much on the way to find Zhang Chulan, but he couldn’t suppress a little panic inside.

In their relationship, it was basically always Zhang Chulan taking the initiative—approaching him, coaxing him.

Chi Wu thought about their interactions, wondering what method to use to coax him later.

He liked hugs, but he didn’t know if Zhang Chulan liked them.

Whatever, try it first, Chi Wu said in his heart.

Zhang Chulan looked at the two older sisters in front of him in shock, then at Feng Baobao, who looked serious and not like she was faking it.

“Feng Baobao, what exactly do you want to do?”

“Aren’t you always caring about this?” Feng Baobao pressed her index finger against her chin.

“I found two people for you. They are very willing. You don’t need to mind me, just enjoy yourself.”

Zhang Chulan’s eyes widened as if he had heard some fantasy story. An uncontrollable sense of humiliation rose swish swish, making him speak without filter.

“Are you really not considering getting your brain checked?”

“My brain is fine. I’m witty as hell, okay?” Feng Baobao sat aside, then remembered something.

“Are you shy because I’m here? Then I’ll go out. Just call me when you’re done.”

Zhang Chulan’s lungs were about to explode with anger. He hadn’t expected Feng Baobao to do something like this. Although the other party was mentally dim, the anger still shot up.

The two aunties looked at such a young and strong handsome guy with fluttering hearts. Hearing he was a virgin made them feel incredibly tender.

“Young man, don’t worry… Sister is very experienced, I will definitely satisfy you.”

“Yes, yes, Sister has fought a hundred battles. I will definitely make you… hehehe.”

Feng Baobao was squatting at the door eating a popsicle. She was very surprised the moment she saw Chi Wu.

She threw the last bite of the popsicle into her mouth, the cold making her exhale repeatedly. “So cold, so cold.”

After swallowing the last bit of ice, she blinked her eyes at Chi Wu.

“You are so amazing. I just found this new house, how did you find it?”

“Address Xu Si gave me,” Chi Wu replied. “Where is Zhang Chulan?”

“Oh… he’s doing business inside.” Feng Baobao pointed inside. But thinking that Xu Si gave Chi Wu the address, maybe there was urgent business. Besides, it had only been a few minutes; maybe they hadn’t started inside yet.

However, she thought about it and reminded him: “You knock first.”

Chi Wu was very amenable to advice. He knocked on the door once, then pushed it open, seeing Zhang Chulan in a constant tug-of-war with two older sisters.

“…Are you busy? Then I won’t disturb you.” Chi Wu closed the door and turned to leave.

Feng Baobao looked at Chi Wu with great curiosity. She liked this person quite a bit; he answered her questions seriously every time. She told him to knock, and he knocked.

She chased after him in a few steps, asking with a hunched back, “What’s wrong with you? Nothing to do again?”

“I’m fine. He’s not very convenient right now.” Chi Wu said to Feng Baobao.

“Sorry to disturb, please excuse me.”

“No problem, no problem.” Feng Baobao waved her hand, very magnanimous. “Then walk slowly. I don’t like seeing people off.”

“Okay, stay there.”

“Get lost.” Zhang Chulan finally realized something. Was that Chi Wu just now?

Considering these two sisters were also called by the mentally abnormal Feng Baobao, he could talk nicely to them just now, but now he couldn’t help roaring.

“Get lost quickly!”

“Aiyou, why so fierce?”

“What are you shouting for? Does a loud voice mean you’re polite? If you didn’t pay us to come, this old lady wouldn’t be willing to serve you.”

“Exactly. This kind of thing needs mutual consent to be comfortable.”

“Mutual consent my ass! Get out, get out, get out!”

Zhang Chulan was anxious to death. After the two older sisters left, he quickly darted to the door.

“Where is Chi Wu?”

“Just left.” Feng Baobao was confused, pointing in the direction Chi Wu left.

Zhang Chulan took off to chase, but Feng Baobao grabbed Zhang Chulan. “You can’t go! You haven’t finished training!”

“Feng Baobao!” Zhang Chulan shook off Feng Baobao’s hand with great force. “I always considered your brain abnormal and didn’t hold it against you. Now please don’t stop me.”

Feng Baobao felt a rare panic. What if Zhang Chulan left? The mission Xu San gave her wasn’t finished. What about her memories?

“You can’t go!”

“Isn’t humiliating me like this enough?!” If Zhang Chulan’s anger had substance, the fire would detonate the earth right now. He roared.

“Enough, really enough!”

He was about to run out when Feng Baobao, in a moment of desperation, slashed with the knife from her sleeve.

A long, winding fissure appeared across the entire house and the courtyard.

“Heh…” Zhang Chulan laughed. “So what if you are stronger than me? Even if you make me leave a piece of myself here today, I am leaving.”

Chi Wu finally came to find him, and now they were having a tantrum and he saw this scene.

What would Chi Wu think? Why did he run away without saying a word?

Feng Baobao lowered her head. “Don’t go.”

Zhang Chulan’s footsteps paused, but in the end, he left.

The wind grew stronger and stronger. Zhang Chulan ran in the direction Chi Wu had left.

Nothing.

Still nothing.

Where on earth did Chi Wu run to?

Just as Zhang Chulan was distracted and depressed, a sack suddenly fell from the sky.
