“Both the He family and An Group are involved,” Tong Shenqi stated, having pieced together the truth through conversations with various merchants.
An Groupâs actions differed from Gu Wanrongâs assumptions. Theyâd targeted Fu Zhenzhuobao even before Gu Wanrong joined.

She glanced at the dejected Fu Zhenzhuobao team, smiling confidently, “They can restrict windowed stones, but not un-windowed ones.”
The team was stunned. Un-windowed stones were rarely sold due to high risk and low chances of high-quality jade. While they held potential, the chances of loss were significant.
Everyone watched Gu Wanrong. They knew An Group and He family were targeting Fu Zhenzhuobao.
With windowed stones limited, only un-windowed stones remained.
Gu Wanrong would now produce jade that even An Group and He family rarely found, slapping them in the face.
Gu Wanrong calmly met the gaze of He Jingkun and An Xuliang, who awaited her failure…
“Is Fu Zhenzhuobao throwing good money after bad?”
“Un-windowed stones are risky.”

How did she know about this? The incident was only known within the two families.
An Xuliang paled, anxious. Embezzlement was a serious offense; it would reduce his chances of securing An Group’s assets.
He Jingkun glared at An Xuliang, urging him to continue.
“Fu Zhenzhuobao relies on this novice to select stones? Be prepared for ruin,” An Xuliang said, avoiding a direct confrontation.
“Are you projecting? You lack the capital to choose un-windowed stones, but I don’t,” Gu Wanrong retorted, striking a nerve.
Fu Zhenzhuobao’s employees chimed in:
“With Ms. Gu’s wealth, it’s just a game.”
“Ms. Gu wins billions in lotteries.”
“This is child’s play for her.”
The onlookers nodded, whispering:
“Who is she? Can she rival An Group and He family?”
“I doubt it. They’re not worried about losing money.”
“Seems like she’s not bluffing.”
“An Xuliang is projecting.”
“An Runliang won’t give him that much money to gamble.”
An Xuliang heard their whispers and was infuriated. An Jiayan ignored him, chatting with others; the other illegitimate children pointed and whispered.
This feeling of being ignored and looked down upon enraged him.
He blamed Gu Wanrong, gritting his teeth, “You can’t choose better stones than the windowed ones! Even with your money, Fu Zhenzhuobao will be crushed by us!”
Gu Wanrong chose another stone, shaking her head, “That’s a bold statement. No one in this auction can find good jade from un-windowed stones. It’s like slapping everyone in the face.”
An Xuliang’s anger subsided slightly, seeing He Jingkun and An Jiayanâs dark expressions.
“Don’t twist things!” An Xuliang retorted, “I said you can’t find good jade, not that others can’t.”
“Are you talking about yourself?” Gu Wanrong asked sarcastically.
An Xuliang, led by Gu Wanrong, blurted out, “I can!”
“Let’s bet on it,” Gu Wanrong immediately accepted.
