Chapter 2: I Want to Join Too
Wen Yuhuai was so angry he nearly couldn’t catch his breath. His chest heaved rapidly a few times before he gritted his teeth and cursed, “Get lost! You damn homo, don’t touch me! It’s disgusting—”
The unfinished words were immediately blocked in his throat. The man seemed addicted, holding him and kissing him over and over again. Between kisses, he threatened him with a nonchalant air, “Baby, don’t try to provoke me. Did I forget to mention what happens when you make me angry?”
Wen Yuhuai didn’t know if he heard the words or not. He lay supine in the man’s arms, breathing rapidly. His handsome, elegant face was flushed. His lips, beautifully shaped, were now swollen and crimson like a ripe berry from being kissed too hard and too heavily.
His beautiful peach-blossom eyes had lost focus at some point. His pitch-black eyelashes were soaked with tears, clumping together in wet clusters. His red lips parted slightly, exhaling hot, wet gasps. He had to clutch the lapels of the man’s chest to maintain his balance.
“I don’t care who you are. Let me go now, and I can pretend none of this ever happened,” he said intermittently, pausing every few words to catch his breath before continuing his threat. “You should know, I have the entire Wen family behind me. And… and…”
And the protagonist group of this world. The powerful, favored sons of heaven in the Beijing circle. They had grown up together; they shared a lifelong bond. If he disappeared rashly, they would never let the matter rest.
A low, hoarse laugh sounded in his ear again, accompanied by a slight static hiss—clearly, the voice was digitally altered.
“And who else? Why did Baby stop? Gu Yanxiu, the eldest young master of the Gu family? Lin Shiyu, that incompetent second-generation heir of the Lin family? Song Xingmian, the little young master of the Song family? or… that Crown Prince of the Beijing circle, Fu Xingjian?”
Wen Yuhuai’s heart went instantly cold.
Who exactly was this pervert who kidnapped him? He knew Wen Yuhuai’s social circle so clearly. Wen Yuhuai remembered he hadn’t offended anyone.
Since the hard approach failed, he would try the soft one. Having lived two lives, Wen Yuhuai naturally knew when to bend and when to stretch.
He gasped a few times, slowing his tone as much as possible. “What exactly do you want? I can give you money. Lots and lots of money. Just let me make a call to the Wen family. They’ll give you whatever amount you ask for.”
“Is that so?”
The man’s rough thumb gently rubbed Wen Yuhuai’s flushed, fragile eyelids. His tone was as gentle as if coaxing a child. “I remember saying this before: I don’t lack money. Baby, I only want you.”
“There are always so many people surrounding you. You don’t know how jealous I am watching you every day. This is so much better. Locking you up here… now, only I can see you.”
This pervert actually wanted to lock him up for a lifetime.
Wen Yuhuai’s heart turned to ashes in an instant. After a long while, he opened his mouth, but his words were pale and weak, carrying no threat whatsoever. “Impossible. You can’t keep me locked up forever. They won’t let you do whatever you want.”
The other party just smiled dotingly, pressing his lips against the shell of Wen Yuhuai’s ear, blowing hot air straight into it. “Then let’s wait and see who finds you first.”
Speaking of this, he seemed to find some interest, pressing further, “Who does Baby think will find you first?”
Wen Yuhuai had said so much but gained nothing; instead, he had been grabbed and kissed thoroughly. He was on the verge of a breakdown. He covered his eyes with his palm, moisture seeping from beneath his hand.
The man seemed to notice. Compared to his previous aggression, his movements became much gentler. His fingers patted Wen Yuhuai’s back rhythmically, like soothing a child.
“Angry? It’s my fault. Blame me. I was just scaring you for fun. We haven’t even started yet; don’t be afraid, Baby…”
Wen Yuhuai shrank back in his arms uncontrollably. Damn it, I’m even more afraid now.
Trembling, he grabbed the hand resting on his shoulder. His beautiful Adam’s apple rolled up and down, his voice carrying a tremor he couldn’t suppress. “When exactly will you let me go? You can’t lock me up for a lifetime. Give me a deadline.”
The man raised his hand and gently touched the wet corner of Wen Yuhuai’s eye, sounding somewhat distressed. “A deadline? I don’t know either. Maybe I’ll let you go when I lose interest in you. Maybe a month, two months. Maybe a year, two years. Of course… it could also be a lifetime.”
“Is Baby unwilling to be with me for a lifetime?”
Wen Yuhuai closed his eyes in despair, refusing to answer.
Bullshit lifetime. You dead gay, I find even one day disgusting!
When I get home, I better not find out which bastard this is, or I’ll find a few men to make him feel really good!
His resistance was obvious, yet the other party didn’t get angry. He simply lowered his head and kissed him hard again. “Be a good Baby. If you’re tired, go to sleep.”
The man’s words seemed to have some magic. Wen Yuhuai originally intended to just rest his eyes, but he actually fell asleep.
“Has the person been found yet?”
“It’s already the third day. Even if Little Huai is playful, he wouldn’t be out of contact for so long. Something must have happened to him…”
In the spacious, brightly lit three-story atrium living room, a well-maintained noblewoman sat on the sofa, supporting her forehead with one hand. Her face was full of worry, her expression bordering on collapse.
“Auntie, don’t worry. We have already mobilized everyone to search. I believe there will be results soon.” Sitting opposite her, a man in a sharp suit, looking refined and noble, comforted her unhurriedly.
Jiang Jing’s face was full of exhaustion. Rubbing her temple, the worry in her voice deepened. “You all grew up with Little Huai. You know his temperament—carefree and oblivious. He wouldn’t even know if he offended someone. I’m truly afraid…”
Fu Xingjian pushed up the gold-rimmed glasses on the bridge of his high nose. His tone was unhurried, yet it easily commanded trust. “Do you trust me, Auntie? I promise I will bring Ah Yu back to you, whole and unharmed.”
Jiang Jing looked at him with increased reliance, though her tightly furrowed brows did not relax. “Of course, Auntie trusts you. But as long as he isn’t found, I can’t put my heart at ease.”
Fu Xingjian stood up, helped her up, and handed her over to a nearby servant. He spoke with maturity and stability. “Auntie, go rest first. Rest assured, the moment I have news of Ah Yu, I will notify you immediately.”
Jiang Jing was supported by the servant as she went upstairs to rest. Downstairs, only the two men remained—dressed in suits, refined scum underneath.
They looked at each other. Their gazes clashed in mid-air for an instant before withdrawing. With tacit understanding, they both walked outside at the same time.
Gu Yanxiu opened his car door and got in. The passenger window slowly lowered halfway, revealing his noble face. “I’ll be going then. You have wide connections; remember to tell me if you have news of Ah Yu.”
Fu Xingjian just stared at him with deep, dark eyes. A few seconds later, without a word, he went to pull the passenger door handle.
Of course, it didn’t open.
Gu Yanxiu raised an eyebrow slightly but unlocked it anyway. He glanced at his watch and spoke concisely. “I still have to go look for Ah Yu. I don’t have time to drive you.”
Fu Xingjian didn’t even buckle his seatbelt. He expressionlessly raised the window, ensuring that nothing could be seen or heard from the outside. Only then did he turn his head to look at Gu Yanxiu. His tone was normal, yet it carried a careless ruthlessness. “Stop pretending. I know he is with you.”
The curve of Gu Yanxiu’s lips slowly dropped. When he opened his mouth, he was merciless. “He hasn’t been found yet. What kind of crazy are you acting out? I wish he was with me. Is that even possible?”
Fu Xingjian merely let out a scoff of unclear meaning. “Those other two mad dogs and the Wen family aren’t vegetarians. If you add the Fu family to the mix, how many days do you think you can hide him? When this gets out, do you think you can retreat unscathed?”
Gu Yanxiu’s expression remained cold. “I’ll say it again. I don’t know—”
Fu Xingjian turned a deaf ear to his denial, interrupting him unhurriedly. “It’s fine if you don’t want the Fu family to intervene. I can even help cover for you. I only have one condition.”
“I want to join too.”
