The Straight Heartthrob: Ruthlessly Forced by a Madman Chapter 62

Chapter 62: Gu Yanxiu’s True Face

Not long after Wen Yuhuai returned to his room, he heard Gu Yanxiu knocking on the door.

He walked over and opened the door. Gu Yanxiu only smiled at him somewhat helplessly. “A-Yu, if you want to leave here, I naturally won’t force you to stay. But could you wait two more days? Today is Thursday. Wait until Saturday to leave. The station will have a high volume of people then, making it harder to attract attention.”

Wen Yuhuai’s heart settled quite a bit. He accepted the proposal and asked, “What time on Saturday?”

Gu Yanxiu didn’t change his expression. “3:00 PM. That’s roughly when the passenger flow is at its peak.”

Wen Yuhuai nodded and thanked him sincerely. “Senior, thank you so much this time. If you ever need anything in the future, please be sure to ask.”

Gu Yanxiu gave a gentle smile. “A-Yu, anything I do for you is voluntary. I don’t need you to do anything in return.”

Wen Yuhuai didn’t take up the topic. He bit the bullet, said goodnight, and closed the bedroom door.

Regardless, the fact that he was straight wouldn’t change. He couldn’t reciprocate the man’s feelings.

Fu Group.

“President Fu, the person has been found.”

The whites of Fu Xingjian’s eyes were bloodshot. He looked through the document his assistant had sent over with a wooden expression.

“So, the person is at Penglai Bay?”

The assistant nodded and added a sentence: “On the top floor of Building B.”

Fu Xingjian let out a laugh. His fingers tapped the desk carelessly, making a crisp and rhythmic da-da sound.

“So he’s there. To think he’s so bold, daring to play ‘the light under the lamp’ with me.”

Fu Xingjian had been there before, and more than once. Of course, he hadn’t gone to the top floor, but to the basement.

The basement there was the place where Wen Yuhuai had previously been kidnapped.

The assistant observed his expression and spoke cautiously. “So, President Fu, should we take him…”

Fu Xingjian curled his lips into a smile, though it didn’t reach his eyes. “What’s the rush? Since he dared to lock the person up there, wouldn’t it be a shame not to send him a great gift to match his painstaking efforts?”

His A-Yu probably still thought of Gu Yanxiu as that gentle senior from before. Now, with the added halo of having helped him escape the “demon’s den,” Wen Yuhuai was likely feeling even more grateful to him.

But what if he found out that the villain who kidnapped him before was this very same “gentle senior”?

The feeling of having the belief one had always held onto overturned must be unpleasant, right? He would surely be very disappointed and sad. Just thinking about it made him seem so pitiful.

“So now we…”

The gloom on Fu Xingjian’s face from the previous days vanished, replaced by a triumphant smile. “Have you found out his current phone number?”

The assistant nodded, then spoke with some hesitation. “The phone Second Young Master Wen is currently using has a firewall set up. Stranger’s numbers simply cannot send messages.”

Fu Xingjian tapped the desk again, his tone slightly impatient. “Find a way yourself. At the latest, by tomorrow morning, I want a satisfactory answer.”

With only two days left before he could leave this place, Wen Yuhuai began making plans for his future. Where would he go after leaving the capital? Where could he go?

He definitely couldn’t go to Shencheng. What if Fu Xingjian chased him there?

As for other places—

Wen Yuhuai’s eyes brightened almost imperceptibly. He could go find Lin Shiyu! Lin Shiyu wasn’t in the capital either; he was developing his own company in Haishi. He could go hide at his place for a few days.

But he soon frowned again. If he could think of that, others might think of it too. He still couldn’t go.

At least, not for the time being.

Forget it. He would just find a random place to settle down for a while and wait until things settled.

After plugging his phone in to charge, Wen Yuhuai grabbed his pajamas and went to take a shower. Just as he finished, there was another knock on the door.

Wen Yuhuai dried his hair with a towel while opening the door. Gu Yanxiu was outside, holding a cup of steaming water.

“Your sleep hasn’t seemed very good these past few days; you’ve even got dark circles. I brewed a cup of honey water for you; it helps with sleep.”

Wen Yuhuai happened to be a bit thirsty after his shower. He took it without suspicion and drank a couple of sips. “Thank you, Senior.”

Gu Yanxiu smiled gently. “You’re welcome. Then I won’t disturb your rest.”

“Goodnight, Senior.”

“Goodnight.”

Perhaps the honey water really did have a sedative effect. Not long after Wen Yuhuai finished blow-drying his hair, he felt a bit sleepy. Shortly after his head hit the pillow, he fell into a deep sleep.

Thus, he didn’t know that after he was sound asleep, someone again secretly opened the door and slipped into his room.

Gu Yanxiu stood silently by the bed, his gaze deep as he stared at the person sleeping unconsciously on the bed.

After a moment, he finally leaned down slowly, greedily kissing those two pale pink lips.

He had clearly decided before the kiss that his movements should be light and not leave any marks, but after the kiss began, he still couldn’t control himself and wanted to go deeper.

The kiss lasted for a long time, until the sleeping person subconsciously furrowed his brows and let out an unconscious, distressed whimper from his throat. Only then did Gu Yanxiu release him as if waking from a dream.

He stayed in the room quietly for a while longer. Finally, he got up reluctantly, walked silently out of the room, and didn’t forget to continue double-locking the door with the key.

A night of good dreams.

After so many days, it was rare to get a peaceful sleep. When Wen Yuhuai woke up the next day, he only felt refreshed in body and mind, and his energy was very abundant.

He checked his phone; it was exactly 8:00 AM.

As usual, there was a message from Gu Yanxiu on his phone, reminding him not to forget to eat breakfast.

Besides that, there was also a message from an unknown number.

Wen Yuhuai couldn’t help but frown. He hadn’t added anyone as a friend on this account. Who else besides Gu Yanxiu would send him a message?

His heart skipped a beat, and a bad thought surfaced in his mind. Could it be Fu Xingjian?

Wen Yuhuai’s expression became conflicted. He stared at the unknown number with a “bitter and deep hatred” for a few seconds before finally clicking on it.

Maybe it was just a promotional advertisement; there was no need to scare himself. Just one look, just one look to put his mind at ease.

The first second after clicking in, Wen Yuhuai’s eyes widened uncontrollably. A bone-deep chill traveled back and forth through the gaps in his bones.

He saw an image attached to the message. It was a photo of him taken when his eyes were tied with a necktie.

In the photo, he was crying so pitifully—the black necktie, the wet red lips…

There was also a photo of that pure white room where he had been locked up for half a month.
