The Straight Heartthrob: Ruthlessly Forced by a Madman Chapter 66

Chapter 66: Shuraba: A-Yu, Come Over

“A-Yu, I…”

Wen Yuhuai interrupted him again, still using that incredibly curious tone. “Do you think you can win against Fu Xingjian? Or do you think he won’t find his way here?”

Gu Yanxiu’s lips pressed into a cold, hard line uncontrollably. After a long while, he didn’t say a word, turned, and walked out of the room.

Wen Yuhuai’s demeanor changed completely. He followed the man closely, never leaving his side. When the man went to the kitchen, Wen Yuhuai leaned against the doorframe and stared at him quietly. “Or is it that you have an L.M. fetish, and you just like… doing it together?”

Gu Yanxiu’s back stiffened instantly.

Wen Yuhuai, however, gave an “oh” of sudden realization. “Look at my memory. I almost forgot. Wasn’t that how it was last time? How was it? Was it… pretty exciting?”

With a clack, the bowl in Gu Yanxiu’s hand fell straight to the floor, the snowy-white, cold porcelain shattering into several pieces.

Gu Yanxiu finally turned around slowly. His handsome face was pale, without a trace of color. His thin lips were pressed tight into a line as he gave a thin and weak explanation. “A-Yu, I’m not… I didn’t…”

This was his personal treasure, the lover he had long ago decided to spend his life with. How could he be willing to…

Right. He had to find a different place to hide him. Hide his baby in a place only he knew about. That way, no one would ever fight over him again.

He slowly crouched down to pick up the shards on the floor. He didn’t care that his fingers were cut by the sharp edges, bleeding profusely. He continued to pick them up, his mind frantically calculating where to hide the person.

Wen Yuhuai walked over and looked down at him. His voice suddenly softened again. “You don’t want the story’s ending to repeat itself either, do you, Senior? You have one last chance.”

Gu Yanxiu’s movement of picking up shards stopped.

Wen Yuhuai crouched down and looked him straight in the eyes, his tone as soft as a temptation. “Senior, your action of bringing me back from the station today might have already been seen by Fu Xingjian. His vigilance is at its lowest right now. You only need to take this chance to secretly send me away. He won’t find out.”

Gu Yanxiu’s eyelashes trembled. He looked up a beat late, a few hints of bewilderment flashing in his eyes. He repeated the words somewhat mechanically, “Send you away now?”

Wen Yuhuai saw a glimmer of hope and pushed harder. “That’s right, Senior. I promise you, as long as you send me away today, I can let everything you’ve done to me before be bygones. In the future, we’ll still be good brothers.”

Bullsh*t “good brothers.” He didn’t care about the title of “good brother.” What he wanted was the status of a unique lover.

Gu Yanxiu closed his eyes, unable to bear it. Various thoughts surged through his mind.

But what could he do if he kept him?

Fu Xingjian already knew about this place. He might snatch the person away at any moment. Even if he couldn’t snatch him, the best outcome would just be a repeat of past mistakes.

Was this really what he wanted?

Wen Yuhuai stood up again, his voice turning cold once more. “I knew I shouldn’t have pinned any hope on you. Forget it. At worst, I’ll just end up back by Fu Xingjian’s side. It’s all the same wherever I am—”

“I’ll send you away.”

The words were interrupted as soon as they fell. Gu Yanxiu placed the blood-stained white porcelain shards on the counter and slowly straightened his back. His dark eyes stared straight at the boy. He repeated once more, “I’ll send you away.”

Wen Yuhuai’s expression became warm again. After so long, he finally revealed a sincere smile. “Senior, I knew I didn’t misjudge you.”

Their gazes then fell on Gu Yanxiu’s fingers. Wen Yuhuai pulled him to the living room, found the medical kit from its remembered location, and used his uninjured hand to somewhat roughly apply medicine for him.

“If it’s broken, it’s broken. No need to pick it up. It won’t return to its original state even if you pick it up. Isn’t it a loss to hurt your hand too?”

Gu Yanxiu paused, looked down at him, and spoke seriously: “I have to pick it up. What if it can be pieced back together?”

The words seemed to have a double meaning. Wen Yuhuai’s movement of applying medicine paused. Then, he gave a light laugh. “As long as Senior is happy.”

Piece it together however you like. It has nothing to do with me anyway.

Gu Yanxiu checked the time on his watch. “It’s 6:30 PM. Go pack your things. We leave at 7:00.”

Wen Yuhuai went back to his room with crisp efficiency and changed his clothes. When he came out, he hadn’t brought anything—not even a phone. “Let’s go.”

Gu Yanxiu frowned slightly. “Where’s your suitcase?”

Wen Yuhuai stuffed his hands in his pockets. “No need. It’s not my stuff anyway.”

Gu Yanxiu didn’t force the issue. He didn’t even change his own clothes. He took the car keys and led the way out, unlocking the passcode lock with his fingerprint. “Let’s go, before he reacts—”

The unfinished words were instantly blocked in his throat. Gu Yanxiu looked at the scene outside the door, and his face instantly turned ashen.

Wen Yuhuai was a few steps behind him. With someone blocking the way, he couldn’t see the scene outside. Seeing the man stop in his tracks, he even spoke to urge him: “Senior, why aren’t you moving?”

“Moving? Where do you want to go? Are you going to elope behind my back?”

The familiar voice fell into his ears without warning. Wen Yuhuai’s mind went blank in an instant. A chilling coldness spread uncontrollably down his spine to his whole body. He reflexively took a step back, as if that could hide him from the terrifying figure.

Soon, Gu Yanxiu was shoved aside. Wen Yuhuai finally saw the scene outside clearly.

Fu Xingjian stood at the very front. Behind him, two black-clad bruisers in sunglasses were watching like tigers stalking prey.

Wen Yuhuai opened his mouth fruitlessly, but only a faint puff of air came out. His feet retreated further and further. “Fu Xingjian…”

Fu Xingjian unhurriedly stepped through the door. He even revealed what could be called a gentle smile. “A-Yu, long time no see.”

Wen Yuhuai’s face was ashen, his lips pressed into a tight line.

Fu Xingjian continued to walk forward, but he was suddenly blocked.

Gu Yanxiu stood in front of him. His expression was dark, yet he still said, “Xingjian, he’s unwilling. Why bother forcing him? Let him go. Continuing this entanglement will lead to no result.”

The sight of the two “appreciating each other” undoubtedly stung Fu Xingjian’s eyes.

He narrowed his eyes slightly, the look in his gaze gradually turning sinister. “Let him go? So I can watch you two being all lovey-dovey?”

“The sky has only just turned dark. What kind of daydream are you having?”

Fu Xingjian lightly raised his hand. The two bodyguards behind him immediately stepped forward to restrain Gu Yanxiu. Only then did he look up again, refocusing on Wen Yuhuai, his voice slightly raspy.

“A-Yu, come over here.”

“Don’t make me say it a second time. Come back with me now, and I can let everything that happened before be bygones.”
