Tonight I Become My Male God’s Kitten—Lick Him! chapter 31

Chapter 31: You Look Good When You Cry

Mu Feng didn’t know if Liang Yuhang was lying to him.

But with just that one sentence, he felt himself being pulled, bit by bit, from the ice and snow back into the bright sunshine.

However, he still found it hard to believe. “You don’t even know what happened. How can you believe me? What if I’m just a liar, a wicked person who has done nothing but evil?”

“Wicked people don’t go around saying they’re wicked.” Liang Yuhang thought that the way he looked while crying was actually quite pretty.

Mu Feng still didn’t believe it. “You’re just coaxing me. You definitely don’t think that in your heart.”

Liang Yuhang felt that the boy was truly stubborn to the core.

He joked, “Then dig my heart out and see for yourself.”

Mu Feng was scared to death. His tears stopped instantly. “Then… I’d rather not. That would hurt too much.”

“See? Wicked people aren’t this kind.”

Liang Yuhang said, “Next time, if there are such framed accusations and you can’t prove yourself, just ignore them. A clear conscience needs no excuse.”

Mu Feng’s love for him increased just a little bit more.

The perfect, flawless Liang Yuhang—if one had to name a flaw…

He majored in the “Way of Heartlessness”; he had no “love root” at all.

Mu Feng nodded. “Alright. Then I’m going to go and curse them back in a bit.”

Liang Yuhang wanted to laugh. “You won’t start crying before you even open your mouth, will you?”

“I don’t like to cry! I’m very strong!” Mu Feng knew his words lacked credibility. He hadn’t cried many times in his life, so why did he run into Liang Yuhang every single time he did?

Liang Yuhang gave a soft snort and didn’t offer an opinion.

Mu Feng decided to salvage his image. He sniffed, put on a cold face, and strode toward Mu Shan, who was currently chatting with Liang Jingyi.

“If you spread rumors again, I’ll call the police and sue you.”

Mu Shan raised an eyebrow. He looked at Liang Yuhang, who was walking over in the distance, and mocked, “Having a backer is different, huh? Your words have grown quite bold.”

“He’s quite cute,” Liang Jingyi evaluated.

“Oh, so there are two backers. No wonder.” Mu Shan narrowed his eyes. The little brat had grown up and was no longer obedient.

Liang Yuhang passed by him without so much as a glance. “Mu Feng, come inside.”

Mu Feng had always been timid and subservient at home, but for the first time, he felt he could stand tall. He had a bit of an “arrogant” aura, like a fox borrowing the tiger’s might.

As a distinguished guest, Liang Yuhang was seated at the head of the table.

Originally, his father Mu Mingde was to be on his right and Liang Jingyi on his left. Mu Feng’s seat was relegated to the very edge.

“Sit here.” Liang Yuhang pressed him into the seat on his left.

“It’s fine. Sit there. I’ll move over one spot.” Liang Jingyi was actually quite easy to talk to.

Mu Shan and Mu Shui were almost pushed to the very edge. They exchanged a look, their expressions extremely displeased.

Mu Mingde began to discuss future cooperation with them.

“The little brat has really found a protective umbrella.” Mu Shan tilted his head. “I just brought up the eldest sister, and Liang Yuhang didn’t even believe it.”

“This won’t do. If those two start looking at each other the right way and settle old accounts, we’ll have more suffering than we can handle.” Mu Shui propped up her chin. “Bring up the marriage alliance. He’s quite handsome; I like him.”

Mu Feng looked at them with a calm expression. You nuisances, eyeing Teacher Liang again.

“Now that official business is over… Colonel Liang, you’re very busy with work. Do you have a steady partner?” Mu Mingde asked.

“No.” Liang Yuhang had a face like a dead person’s. “I hate humans.”

Everyone at the table: “………..” Well, everyone was being hated equally.

Liang Jingyi watched the drama with a smile. “My brother is just like that. It’s useless. If he ever dates someone, I’ll stand on my head and drink toilet water.”

“But at your age, you should consider finding a suitable, pretty Omega,” Mu Shan said. “What about Mu Shui? She’s currently the vice president of father’s pharmaceutical company. You two should have a lot to talk about.”

Liang Yuhang looked up and swept a glance over her. “Not my type.”

He was putting his rejection out in the open.

Mu Shui’s expression cracked slightly. She reached up to smooth her hair. “Then what kind do you like?”

Liang Yuhang raised his tea to drink. Only after several seconds did he say, “I don’t like anyone. I plan to spend the rest of my life with my cat.”

Mu Shui gave an awkward smile. “What’s so good about cats? Their scratches hurt.”

“Cats are very cute, okay?” Mu Feng, who had been playing the mute, couldn’t help but talk back. “Only people they hate get chased and scratched by cats. Right, Teacher Liang?”

Mu Shan spoke up, “What nonsense is the little brat spouting?”

Liang Yuhang hummed. “My cat is indeed like that. He’d likely bare his teeth if he saw you.”

Mu Shui: “………..”

Mu Feng said triumphantly, “That’s right. Teacher Liang’s cat only acts fierce toward people it hates.”

Mu Shan was so angry he raised his tea to drink, only to be scalded. He turned around to spit it out, baring his teeth in pain.

“Do you plan to have Mu Feng enter a marriage alliance?” Liang Jingyi suddenly asked. “He’s an Omega, right? Quite cute.”

Mu Mingde glanced at his youngest son, who had zero presence in the family. “Him? He’s good-for-nothing. Not fit to be shown in public.”

Mu Feng rolled his eyes in his heart. Good. Whoever marries Liang Jingyi is in for some bad luck.

Liang Jingyi said lazily, “That doesn’t matter. I didn’t expect him to do anything anyway. As long as I’m okay with it.”

Mu Feng and Liang Yuhang exchanged a look. It was clear—today’s family dinner was a “Hongmen Banquet,” treating him and Teacher Liang like targets.

Mu Mingde smiled. “If you like him, take him as a plaything. He has no skills, doesn’t study properly, and spends his days in debauchery. See? He even maxed out his card yesterday.”

Mu Feng: “………” The trouble Xiao Jiang caused was being blamed on him again. Whatever. He’d draw another two tubes of blood from him when he got back.

He lifted his head and gave a tiny, innocent smile. “Since I’m so useless, I won’t hold Lieutenant Colonel Liang back. Third sister is pretty and capable. As for a marriage alliance, it should be a union of the strong. I think the two of them are a good match.”

Liang Yuhang, who hadn’t spoken, opened his golden mouth. “I think that works.”

Mu Shui wasn’t picky either, having heard that Liang Jingyi was more favored at home. “That works. Let’s get to know each other first.”

Liang Jingyi had a look of disgust. “I like men.”

Mu Shui: “………..” This meal was truly impossible to eat. She wanted to flip the table.

The dinner ended on a sour note.

As they were leaving, Mu Feng still couldn’t help but ask, “Where’s Mom? I haven’t seen her all day.”

“Your grandmother is sick; I sent her over to serve her.” Mu Mingde glanced at him and gave a low warning. “Be more obedient at the base. If you ruin the cooperation with the Liang family, I won’t let you off.”

Mu Feng’s expression was calm; he didn’t speak.

Mu Mingde added, “Liang Yuhang looks like he has no interest in marriage. Although I don’t know what tricks you used to bewitch Liang Jingyi into being so obsessed, if you’re going to seduce someone, do it properly.”

Mu Feng couldn’t help but roll his eyes. “I don’t like him.”

“I don’t care if you like him or not.” Mu Mingde’s tone was flat. “You eat my food, drink my water, and spend my money. Do you think you still have the right to choose?”

“Mu Feng, let’s go.” Liang Yuhang called him.

“Goodbye, Father.” Mu Feng was able to escape. He walked quickly to catch up, feeling the prying eyes on his back.

“What were you chatting about?” Liang Yuhang asked.

“He wants me to seduce your brother.” Mu Feng sat in the passenger seat and spoke without filters. “In his dreams.”

Liang Jingyi poked his head out from the back seat. “I’m still here. Can you talk behind my back at least?”

“Ah, you’re here.” Mu Feng had zero intention of apologizing. “It’s fine. I’d say the same thing to your face.”

Liang Yuhang felt annoyed just looking at him. “Get out.”

“There’s a problem with my car; I had the driver take it away. We’re all going back to the base—what’s wrong with catching a ride?” Liang Jingyi ordered like a lord. “Drive, drive.”

Liang Yuhang didn’t move, his fingers resting on the steering wheel.

Mu Feng thought for two seconds, opened the car door, moved to the back row, and reached out to yank Liang Jingyi out. The whole movement was smooth and without hesitation.

“Teacher Liang told you to beat it.”

Liang Jingyi stumbled. “………..” How can an Omega be this strong?

Mu Feng quickly sat back in his seat, closed the door, and urged like he had succeeded in a prank, “Quick, quick, let’s go!”

Liang Yuhang couldn’t help but laugh. His posture was relaxed as he floored the accelerator, and the car sped away.

He commented casually, “You’re quite strong. You can yank such a sturdy Alpha like that.”

Mu Feng grew alert and straightened his back. “Because I was bullied as a kid, I took my physical education classes very seriously.”

“Oh, so your poor physical performance was faked too.”

Liang Yuhang recalled the report card he had been given. Every item, looking back now, was a lie.

He brought up old scores maliciously. “It clearly stated that your combat score barely passed.”

Mu Feng stammered, “Uh… it’s not… that one is real… it’s mainly because…” Mainly because of what? Think, brain, think fast!

Liang Yuhang spoke slowly again, “Then that time at the bar, when you were bullied and unable to fight back—was that faked too?”

Mu Feng: !!!!!!! Why did he suddenly start bringing up old scores? He remembers the things he shouldn’t and ignores the ones he should.

Mu Feng shook his head frantically, trying his best to deny it. “No! That person was too fierce. I’m a soft and fragile Omega; of course I couldn’t win.”

Liang Yuhang hummed and didn’t speak, seemingly deep in thought.

Mu Feng felt like he was sitting on needles. He should have just gotten out with Liang Jingyi. This wouldn’t do; he absolutely could not expose the fact that he was an Alpha.

He still planned to stay as an Omega to help Teacher Liang through his susceptibility period.

“We’re here.” Liang Yuhang parked the car and got out first, walking around to the other side to open the door.

Mu Feng was happily thinking about how gentle Teacher Liang was today when he suddenly felt a strike to his lower back.

His conditioned reflex kicked in, and he fought back, turning to elbow the other person before reaching out to pin him against the car door.

Because it was a completely subconscious reaction, Mu Feng realized what he had done and immediately let go.

Pretending nothing had happened, he patted the other’s shoulder. “There was some dust; I was helping you pat it off. There, it’s all clean now.”

Liang Yuhang’s back was against the car window. He hadn’t intended to fight back at all. He raised an eyebrow slightly. “It seems your level is indeed more than just ‘barely passing.'”

Mu Feng: “………..” With those eight hundred schemes of his, how am I supposed to play? I can’t win!!!

His upper body was still pressing against the other. He didn’t know whether to get up or not, so he could only play the “misery” card. “I only know this one move. I was scared of being beaten as a kid, so the first thing I learned was the counter-elbow strike.”

A little liar with a mouth full of lies.

Liang Yuhang lowered his eyes, his gaze falling on those beautiful eyes.

“Fine. Soft and fragile Omega, cry once more and I might just believe you.”
