Chapter 8: I Have Someone I Like
Ah, I’ve been found out.
As expected, being too smart isn’t always a good thing.
Mu Feng had excellent psychological fortitude. He smiled and asked, “Why would Teacher Liang think that?”
Liang Yuhang reached out, grabbed the chain, and pulled slightly. The leather collar on the neck tightened against the other’s Adam’s apple.
He saw Mu Feng’s face turn slightly red. “What does this mean?”
He seemed to have a really bad attitude towards suitors.
“It just got caught by accident.” Mu Feng tilted his head back, his Adam’s apple bobbing gently. Staring into his eyes, he spoke slowly, “I have someone I like.”
Liang Yuhang paused slightly. “Mn?”
Mu Feng looked at him without blinking. “I’ve liked him for a long time.”
Liang Yuhang was taken aback by this direct hit. “Are you confessing?”
He thought to himself, Indeed, I guessed correctly. This guy does have ulterior motives. Most likely, the cry for help just now was also fake, and I was actually deceived.
Mu Feng leaned back against the wall, smiling slyly. “I’ve liked him for four years, but did we know each other before?”
Liang Yuhang was very certain. “No.”
Mu Feng wasn’t surprised by this answer. “So… the object of my secret crush is obviously not you.”
Liang Yuhang: ……..?
He retracted his previous words. He was really preening like a peacock, being overly sentimental.
For the first time, Liang Yuhang felt a bit awkward and didn’t know how to comment. “Then, you’re quite loyal.”
One sentence killed the conversation instantly.
Mu Feng reached out and tapped the hand holding the chain. “So, can you let go now? Although I quite like playing like this, given our pure relationship, it’s inappropriate.”
Liang Yuhang’s gaze fell on his fair neck. Beneath the black leather collar, a faint layer of red had appeared.
His gaze darkened slightly. Coming back to his senses, he let go. “Apologies.”
Mu Feng maintained that easy-going manner. “But now that you understand I like someone else, can you lessen your hostility towards me?”
Liang Yuhang knew he was in the wrong and reflected, “It’s my problem. I’m too sensitive.”
“There are many men and women chasing Teacher Liang. It’s understandable that you’re guarded.” Mu Feng knew exactly how to negotiate. “But you wronged me. Do you owe me a favor?”
Liang Yuhang understood immediately. “How do you want me to repay it?”
“My family is strict. I can’t go to the hospital for this injury. If my parents find out, it won’t be good.” Mu Feng bent his arm to show him the scraped elbow. “You’re a doctor. Could I trouble you to bandage it for me?”
He had seen medical supplies in Liang Yuhang’s home. A smart child never fights an unprepared battle.
Liang Yuhang couldn’t find a reason to refuse. “Okay, I have medicine at home.”
Mu Feng succeeded, the corner of his mouth hooking up very slightly. “Okay, then I’ll go back with you in a bit.”
Liang Yuhang still felt that something wasn’t quite right.
For the first time, his sixth sense had misjudged. The other party was flawless, with a face full of innocence, as if suspecting him for one more second would induce guilt.
The two returned to the booth one after another. Lu Zhuo was lecturing Jiang Yu’an: “For the next month, your cards are frozen, and you’re grounded. Apart from school, home, and my training room, you aren’t allowed to go anywhere.”
“God, that’s too cruel.” Jiang Yu’an wanted to cry but had no tears. He turned to look at his lifesaver. “Mu Bao, beg for mercy for me.”
Mu Feng felt guilty. After all, he was the one who dragged his brother down. “Can’t help you. You can swipe my card.”
Lu Zhuo clicked his tongue. “I really want to find someone to manage you. Is there anyone who aids and abets like this?”
Mu Feng joked half-seriously, “Currently no, but you can pin your hopes on Teacher Liang. I’ll be very obedient.”
Liang Yuhang knew where the problem lay.
This guy always said ambiguous things. No wonder he was often misunderstood.
He has someone he likes, yet he’s still like this?
Forget it. Who he likes has nothing to do with me.
Liang Yuhang looked up at Lu Zhuo. “Business is done. I’m leaving first; I have a patient.”
“So busy? Seeing patients during break time?” Lu Zhuo sighed. “You’re too intense.”
“The patient is here. Just accidentally got scraped.” Mu Feng raised his hand and waved his injured arm. “Leaving first. Go easy on our Xiao Jiang, don’t scold him too hard.”
Lu Zhuo patted the shivering Jiang Yu’an and said indifferently, “Then go treat the wound first. With this guy, I know my limits.”
Mu Feng mouthed “take care”, turned around, and followed Liang Yuhang with brisk steps, leaving happily.
Jiang Yu’an reached out but didn’t even catch the corner of his clothes. disregarding dignity, he said indignantly, “You actually just left like that. You believe he knows his limits!!!”
Liang Yuhang turned his head, glanced at Mu Feng who was stifling a laugh, and exposed him. “You did it on purpose?”
“It’s just quite fun.” Mu Feng looked at him, his peach blossom eyes curved like crescent moons. “Brother Lu Zhuo wouldn’t bear to really beat him.”
Liang Yuhang didn’t speak, just gave him a meaningful look.
Not that stupid; his mind was clear.
Mu Feng got into the passenger seat, took out his phone, and asked very politely, “Can I take photos? I haven’t seen this car model before. It’s really beautiful.”
Liang Yuhang said generously, “Shoot.”
Under someone’s nose, Mu Feng didn’t let go of any detail. God, this is Liang Yuhang’s passenger seat, Liang Yuhang’s steering wheel, Liang Yuhang’s windshield, and, Liang Yuhang driving.
Too happy. Before, it was always just his back.
Then he swayed to the left super casually, quickly pressing the shutter to capture a blurry profile, saving it to his private album.
Then he saw in the lens, Liang Yuhang’s hand reaching over, his fingers blocking half of the screen.
Having just secretly photographed him, Mu Feng felt a bit guilty. “What are you doing?”
“Seatbelt.” Liang Yuhang grabbed the strap next to him, pulled it briskly, and buckled it with a click. “Continue shooting.”
Mu Feng didn’t know why, but he inexplicably imagined a hint of indulgence from these words.
Is it because I’m a patient that he’s so gentle?
Dare not ask, afraid of being poisoned to death by his mouth.
Seeing him rarely this quiet, Liang Yuhang maintained his doctor’s instinct out of habit and asked, “Looking at you, that just now didn’t leave a psychological shadow, right?”
“If I say yes, what will you do?” Mu Feng looked up at him.
Liang Yuhang made a judgment. “Should be no.”
Mu Feng: “”
Sigh, Teacher Liang, really hard to flirt with.
Mu Feng followed him home. Previously it was from a cat’s perspective; entering through the door from a human perspective for the first time felt particularly novel. He opened the shoe cabinet very naturally, his finger touching the pair of black slippers Liang Yuhang often wore, then paused.
Crap, does it seem too familiar?
As expected, turning his head, he observed Liang Yuhang’s probing gaze.
Mu Feng bit the bullet. “Which one do I wear?”
Liang Yuhang lifted his chin slightly, as if digging a pit. ” The pair you just took.”
That pair… isn’t it yours?
Facing the oppressive gaze, Mu Feng felt for the first time that his cleverness was useless. To wear, or not to wear.
He bent down to put them on the floor, took off his shoes, and just as he was about to step in, he heard the other speak, “Remembered wrongly. This pair is mine. 0717 washed it until the color changed. You wear the ones next to it.”
Mu Feng gave an “oh”, nodding slightly. His lagging brain finally processed it: Is Liang Yuhang suspecting I’ve been here before?
He recalled the earlier conversation and pretended not to know. “What is 0717?”
“A fat penguin.” Liang Yuhang stared at him for a few seconds, then turned around. “Come in after putting on the shoes.”
He thought to himself, Why did I feel for a second just now that Mu Feng had been to my home? I’ve really been too tired recently, overly suspicious.
Mu Feng sat on the sofa. Mumu pounced straight at him. Four eyes met; viewing it from this perspective was very weird.
“You… wouldn’t be trying to exact revenge because I occupied your owner, right?” He reached out to rub the fat cat’s head, negotiating in a low voice. “Three cat treats, help me cover.”
Mumu was still fierce.
Mu Feng clicked his tongue. “Five.”
Mumu shook its head, refusing to communicate, raising the price on the spot.
Mu Feng suppressed the urge to beat it up. seeing Liang Yuhang coming over with the medical kit from his peripheral vision, he changed his tune. “Ten. Deal or no deal.”
Mumu docilely put its head in his arms, letting out a lazy “Meow~”.
Mu Feng: “………”
Bad thing. The cat takes after its owner.
“You two get along well.” Liang Yuhang was quite surprised seeing their harmonious appearance.
Mumu was abandoned. Originally a high-quality Chinchilla, it was abandoned by its previous owner due to poor health. During its time as a stray, its temper became particularly sharp, baring its teeth and fighting back whenever it saw people.
Liang Yuhang was the first exception. Now there was surprisingly a second one—Mu Feng, who bought it off with ten cat treats.
“Probably because I’m approachable.” Mu Feng felt Mumu pawing at him and quickly said, “By the way, that voice device last time came with a gift, twenty cat treats. Arriving in two days. Remember to feed Mumu.”
The green tea cat thinks this kid knows the way of the world.
Liang Yuhang gave a grunt of acknowledgment and grabbed the cat off him. “Extend your hand.”
Mu Feng obediently extended his hand, then felt his wrist being held.
Being Teacher Liang’s patient has too many benefits. Touched again. So happy.
“Why are you shaking?” Liang Yuhang turned his hand over, inspected the wound, skillfully disinfected it, and then bandaged it.
Because one was standing and one was sitting, Mu Feng was almost encircled in his arms. His back was tense, and he even breathed very lightly.
Can’t smell pheromones. What is Liang Yuhang’s scent? When is his susceptibility period? Does he relieve it himself?
Mu Feng’s mind filled with more and more thoughts, until he felt touched by the other again, snapping back to reality. “What’s wrong?”
“This is also scraped a bit. Take off the bracelet.”
Liang Yuhang held the slender wrist. No negotiation, it was a commanding tone.
Mu Feng lowered his eyes, looking at the Alpha suppression bracelet he had been wearing. He had been taking Omega stabilizers for a long time—a special sample he developed himself. It shouldn’t be discovered; after all, it even fooled hospital tests.
The bracelet was double insurance. Never taken off, didn’t dare to take off, afraid of accidents.
But Liang Yuhang spoke; he couldn’t refuse.
“I…” Mu Feng hesitated.
“Can’t take it off?” Liang Yuhang looked at his slightly trembling eyes, realizing the distinction between AO. What he said was comparable to harassment.
“Here’s the medicine. Apply it yourself at home. You can go.”
The next second, Mu Feng decisively opened the bracelet clasp. It fell to the ground, the bell making a crisp sound.
“Took it off. Teacher Liang, I am obedient.”
