Chapter 19: Is a Single Kiss Not Allowed Either?
“What do you want to do?”
Yu Deng was like a frantic little calf, trying to push the man out of the cramped bathroom.
He had already anticipated the man’s shameless behavior.
“Go out! I’m going to bathe!”
But his strength was too little. Even using all his might, he couldn’t budge the rooted man.
Zhou Yuejunâs body squeezed inward again, pressing against Yu Deng.
When his hand moved to Yu Dengâs waistâso frail it felt like it would break under his gripâit didn’t behave, gradually approaching a more vulnerable yet soft area.
“Weren’t you afraid to bathe alone? If we bathe together, you won’t be scared.”
“I’ll scrub your back.”
“No!”
Yu Deng was startled into staggering two steps back until his back hit the wall. His eyes were full of the panic of a startled deer.
“I can wash by myself! Go outside and wait! Wash later!”
His hands, which were randomly stoking the fire, first rubbed against Zhou Yuejun. At a certain moment, sensing the scorching temperature of the man’s body, they were like a kitten who had burnt its paws and were quickly retracted.
At the thought of being completely exposed with Zhou Yuejun, Yu Deng felt incredibly bashful. He lowered his lashes, not daring to look the man in the eye.
“I can’t~”
Zhou Yuejun gulped several times. He craved Yu Dengâs touch and pressed forward once more.
The boy had nowhere to hide. Under the dim light, his entire face and even his neck were stained pink. His tender red lower lip was bitten, leaving tooth marks.
Yu Deng was a head shorter than Zhou Yuejun and so small that when he was caged in Zhou Yuejunâs arms, it felt like there were walls in every direction.
Only the wall in front of him exuded heat and savagery.
Zhou Yuejun gripped that slender wrist. After moving it slightly, the boy was so intimidated that he tried to struggle and resist.
But because he couldn’t break free, his dark eyes became moist with tears of frustration.
He was a pitiful sight.
“No!”
His soft voice held only the weakness of a prey to be bullied.
“Why not? Why ‘no’?”
Zhou Yuejunâs voice was hoarse. Though it was a question, it was filled with aggression and greed.
“Didn’t we agree? Now that we’ve bought the appliances, we’re married.”
“Doesn’t Dengdeng know what happens after marriage?”
Yu Dengâs head shook like a rattle. He stubbornly kept a sullen face, appearing timid and cowardly.
Zhou Yuejun knew he was feigning ignorance; with his face so red, he was surely embarrassed.
“It’s fine if you don’t know. You don’t need to understand anyway.”
As long as he understood, it was fine. Yu Deng didn’t need to do anything; he only needed to be… by him.
Yu Deng could feel Zhou Yuejunâs body temperature so clearly, yet he had no way to escape.
“I… I’m not ready yet, I can’t…”
His voice was light, sweet, and soft, like a feather tickling the most sensitive part of one’s heart.
Zhou Yuejunâs blood surged to the extreme. His eyes were nearly bloodshot, filled with an all-too-naked and primal instinct. He wished he could tear Yu Deng apart and devour him.
He was already starving for him.
Every night he fell asleep accompanied by the boy’s fragrance and softness. Sometimes when Yu Deng kicked and his arm pressed against his chest, he wanted to take a bite.
He even wanted to pick Yu Deng up and have him sit on him forever.
“We won’t do it yet. Just one kiss. Can I kiss you?”
After speaking, he leaned down slightly, his head nuzzling into the crook of Yu Dengâs neck. As soon as his scorching lips touched that pale pink cheek, Yu Deng began to tremble and shiver like a small chick.
He let out short, shallow moans like a kitten, wanting nothing more than to shrink himself completely into the corner when under attack.
“No! No kissing!”
Compared to the man’s heavy breathing, Yu Dengâs breaths were very weak. He was completely wary of Zhou Yuejun, fearing the man would do something bad.
Zhou Yuejun was so rough. When his hand touched him through his clothes, he felt like his flesh was being scraped.
As for anything else, Yu Deng simply didn’t dare to imagine it.
Besides, the man looked very fierce and wild.
“Is a single kiss not allowed either? Were you lying to me?”
The little liarâhe just loved to coax people.
Yu Deng was truly afraid because Zhou Yuejun gave off the feeling of being too “capable.”
He knew his persona well: deceptive, heartless, and unscrupulous. So what if he was tricking Zhou Yuejun into spending money on him?
Thinking this, Yu Deng felt a sudden, inexplicable burst of courage.
Setting his heart, his temper became firm.
“Yes! I was lying to you!”
“Even if you buy things for me, I won’t sleep with you or let you kiss me!”
He was so bad.
But he didn’t know if heâd misheard, but there was a very low chuckle.
Zhou Yuejunâs body was burning hot, and every inch of his bones felt as if ants were gnawing on them. Yet he didn’t rush to follow his physical instincts and act out his desires.
He didn’t know how yet; he would hurt the boy.
But kissing was fine. Going slightly overboard to punish the Yu Deng who had lied to him was also acceptable.
“Itâs not up to you.”
After saying this, his thin lips pressed against the boy’s plump mouth once more.
Yu Deng was startled by the sudden kiss. Just as he was about to struggle, both his wrists were seized by one of the man’s hands. He couldn’t move at all and could only be held above his head.
At first, Zhou Yuejunâs kiss wasn’t that fierce, but gradually, as if heâd taken a drug, it became more and more aggressive.
And Yu Deng was so delicate and tender; he couldn’t take it after just a bit of friction.
Moreover, Zhou Yuejun wasn’t satisfied, his mind seemingly filled only with greedy plundering and wanton sweeping.
Yu Deng didn’t know how long he was kissed. He only knew that by the time his pupils were dilated, his legs were trembling, and his entire body was both hot and soft, Zhou Yuejun finally let him go.
No, the man only let go of his lips.
Zhou Yuejun wanted to kiss him everywhere; he was truly wicked.
He left Yu Deng in a miserable state.
Zhou Yuejun: “You’ve sweated a lot. I should bathe you. And… it’s a bit dirty.”
“It’s all your fault!”
Yu Deng didn’t know the man’s words were just a playful bit of wickedness; he thought Zhou Yuejun was disgusted by him.
Having just been bullied, how could he handle being provoked? His hands were finally free, and he raised them to “duang-duang” smash against Zhou Yuejun.
“I didn’t! It’s yours! I hate you!”
Although he was making a scene, because of his soft voice, filled with both a sob and fragility, it was heart-wrenching.
Zhou Yuejun let Yu Deng vent his anger. Even when some slaps were about to hit his face, he didn’t dodge or blink. He only held the boy’s waist to support him.
Otherwise, it would be easy for him to fall.
The temperature in summer was hot. If water was left in the sun for a while, it would become warm.
The water Zhou Yuejun had boiled and mixed still had some warmth, so he quickly washed Yu Deng clean. He then put clothes on the boy and carried him back to the bedroom.
The moment he hit the bed, Yu Deng scrambled toward the wall, avoiding the man at all costs.
“Your hair isn’t dry. Come here.”
Yu Deng was disobedient: “I don’t want you to dry it! The fan can dry it!”
Just as he moved a bit toward the fan, a “demon’s claw” reached out for him and then…
Effortlessly brought him back to his side, imprisoning him firmly in his arms.
“Dry it a bit. There’s so much water; you’ll get a headache if you catch the draft.”
Yu Deng didn’t want to cooperate, but he was powerless to resist. He only pouted and let Zhou Yuejun dry his hair.
Translator’s Note:Â
A few cultural notes for this updates:
- Mung Bean Soup (çś čąćšŻ): A very popular summer drink in China, believed to have “cooling” properties (clearing internal heat).
- KFC as a Luxury: In the early 90s and 2000s in China, KFC was actually quite expensive and seen as a place for special occasions or “cool” dates. Yu Deng noticing the price difference between a 4-yuan soda and a 50-cent one is very era-appropriate!
- Gaokao (éŤč): The National College Entrance Examination. It’s the most important exam for students in China, determining which university they can attend.
