Xie Wangyuan smirked. “What a coincidence. I happen to like people who aren’t interested in me.”
Not knowing the meaning of dignity, Xie Wangyuan doubled down. With the intensity of someone catching a cheating spouse, he sabotaged several of Qin Yu’s blind dates.
“I’ve got plenty of experience; one look and I can tell these Omegas aren’t up to par,” Xie Wangyuan shamelessly boasted, gilding his own lily. “No need to thank me, just remember to repay the favor properly.”
After days of pestering without success, Xie Wangyuan decided to go big at Qin Yu’s birthday banquet and give him a “surprise.”
On the night of the banquet, Xie Wangyuan finally caught his chance, cornering Qin Yu outside the noisy hall. But before he could deliver the “surprise,” Xie Wangyuan found himself pinned into a quiet corner instead.
In the dim light, the Beta shed his usual coldness, his eyes now manic and dangerous.
Suddenly deprived of oxygen, Xie Wangyuan nearly suffocated. It took a moment before he reacted, biting down hard on the tongue ravaging his mouth and shoving the man away. “…F*ck!”
Seeing the Alpha’s misty eyes and chaotic breathing caused by him, Qin Yu felt a trace of satisfaction. He squinted and smiled. “They say Second Young Master Xie is wild and promiscuous. It seems the rumors were exaggerated.”
Xie Wangyuan leaned on Qin Yu’s shoulder for support. Once he caught his breath, he gritted his teeth and bluffed, “I don’t like men who are too aggressive.”
Qin Yu’s thumb wiped across Xie Wangyuan’s lips, his fingers trailing down his chest. “But those Betas… can they make you feel this good?”
Startled, Xie Wangyuan threw a punch, dropped a “You just wait!”, hitched up his pants, and bolted.
The flimsy threat held no weight. Qin Yu raised a hand to wipe the corner of his mouth, lowered his gaze to the blood on his fingertip, and slowly smeared it out.
From the very first day Xie Wangyuan came to provoke him, he had never intended to let him go.

The living room curtains were drawn tight. The moment Qin Yu walked in, he was slammed against the wall and hugged tightly.
The restless Alpha buried his face deep into the neck, desperately seeking the gland at the nape, wanting to leave his pheromones on the Beta, only to bite at nothing.
Qin Yu pressed the man into the sofa “nest” built of clothes. He rubbed the skin, red and pitiful from the inhibitor patch, then bit down hard.
Surrounded and soothed by the familiar scent, Xie Wangyuan clutched the shirt Qin Yu had taken off the night before, trembling as he cursed, “Qin Yu, you motherf*cker! I’m the Alpha…”
