As they boarded, while Gu Huaiye wasn’t looking, Xie Miaohan turned his head and glared coldly at the boy who had just been crying.

“Damn fatty,” Xie Miaohan whispered.

Gu Huaiye hadn’t expected a field trip to be so exhausting.

The kids were incredibly noisy, and the parents couldn’t control them at all. Children ran everywhere while Ms. Duan shouted herself hoarse trying to maintain discipline.

Gu Huaiye looked down at the well-behaved Xie Miaohan, thinking this was a god-sent child. Only Xie Miaohan’s group of stupid relatives wouldn’t know how to cherish him.

“Are you tired?” Gu Huaiye took out a handkerchief and wiped the sweat from Xie Miaohan’s forehead. “Do you want Brother to carry you?”

Xie Miaohan wanted Gu Huaiye to carry him very much, but he was also afraid of tiring Gu Huaiye out, so he sensibly shook his head.

“I’m not tired.”

He missed Father Gu a little.
