Xie Miaohan thought the child with the gun was going to hurt Gu Huaiye, so he immediately broke free from Gu Huaiye’s hand and blocked the way in front of him.

Suddenly, a BMW drove past them.
“Your dad is back,” Chen Zirui said. “We’re done for. We haven’t finished our homework.”
Little Gu Huaiye let out an “Ah!”, hugged his toy gun, and ran toward the villa. His two little followers chased after him.
Gu Huaiye stood up and couldn’t help approaching the villa. Through the iron gate, he saw the man getting out of the BMW.
“Dad…”

As if sensing something, Father Gu turned and looked over.
Gu Huaiye immediately hid, clenching both fists tight.
After a moment, he looked into the gate again and saw Father Gu lift Little Gu Huaiye up, riding him on his shoulders, laughing heartily as they walked into the villa.
Gu Huaiye stared intently at their receding figures until they completely disappeared from sight.
He had decided.

Xie Miaohan indeed didn’t like Little Gu Huaiye either.
