[Side CP Extra] Their First Life 09
Chen Zirui muddledly ended up in bed with Xiang Wanxing. When he sobered up, he wanted to slap himself.
What am I doing?!
How could I sleep with Xiang Wanxing? And I was f*cking topped by an Omega! If word got out, I’d die of shame.
It wasn’t that Chen Zirui placed great importance on chastity, but he felt this was bad.
He remembered Xiang Wanxing had an engagement. If that royal Alpha investigated him, wouldn’t a great calamity befall him?
But I remember before he topped me, he said something about paying a debt. He shouldn’t keep pestering me, right?
It’s not like my ass is some rare delicacy.
“Why aren’t you talking now that you’re awake?” Xiang Wanxing leaned in to kiss Chen Zirui’s face, his eyes full of mirth. “Does it hurt?”
“It doesn’t.” Chen Zirui paused, then stared at Xiang Wanxing seriously. “Xiang Wanxing, I have something to ask you.”
Xiang Wanxing was in a great mood. He gently stroked Chen Zirui’s hair, unable to resist braiding a tiny plait.
“Mhm, go ahead.”
Chen Zirui’s hair was tugged hard, causing him to suck in a breath.
“Hey, stop pulling my hair randomly. It’s very precious. I don’t want to go bald when I’m old.”
Xiang Wanxing kept tugging at Chen Zirui’s hair, narrowing his eyes, his tone dangerous.
“So that’s what you’re thinking?”
“Thinking what?” Chen Zirui frowned, unhappy. “Let go of my hair.”
Xiang Wanxing’s gaze darkened, and he released Chen Zirui’s hair.
“Suit yourself.”
Leaving that sentence behind, Xiang Wanxing got up and left the room.
Chen Zirui rubbed his aching scalp. “Baffling.”
Xiang Wanxing was gone for two days. Chen Zirui had a good time in the villa, though he occasionally felt a bit lonely.
Feeling truly stifled, Chen Zirui prepared to go out and try his luck to see if he could rescue Gu Huaiye.
Just as he walked to the villa entrance, he encountered Xiang Wanxing getting out of a luxury car.
“Holy crap, is that a limited edition sports car?!” Chen Zirui rushed over, stroking the car body excitedly. “There are only a few in the world; how did you get your hands on it?”
Xiang Wanxing was still holding a grudge, so his tone was lukewarm.
“Money and connections are all you need.”
Chen Zirui sighed. “It’s so good to have money. I want to be rich too.”
Xiang Wanxing hadn’t returned for a few days. He had finally cooled off and taken the initiative to see Chen Zirui.
But this guy… he didn’t even glance at him, focusing entirely on the sports car.
Xiang Wanxing grabbed Chen Zirui’s shoulder and gritted his teeth. “Chen Zirui, don’t you have anything to say to me?”
Chen Zirui’s mind was still on the car. “No, say what? Is this car fun to drive? Can I drive it?”
“No,” Xiang Wanxing refused without hesitation.
Chen Zirui had expected he wouldn’t agree, so he wasn’t too sad. He whispered, “Fine then.”
Several minutes passed, and Chen Zirui was still studying the sports car. It angered Xiang Wanxing so much that he pulled the man into his arms.
“Is a broken car worth looking at for so long?” Xiang Wanxing said coldly. “I’ll have it destroyed tomorrow.”
“Don’t!” Chen Zirui waved his hands frantically. “If you don’t want it, give it to me. Or I can help you destroy it.”
As for where it gets destroyed, no need to ask.
“If you don’t want me to destroy it, stop looking at it.”
Chen Zirui felt Xiang Wanxing was being unreasonable. He laughed out of anger. “If I don’t look at it, where should I look?”
“Look at me.”
Chen Zirui: “……”
He must be seriously ill.
Xiang Wanxing suppressed his temper. “I’ll ask you one last time: do you have anything to say to me?”
“I don’t…”
Suddenly meeting Xiang Wanxing’s dark gaze, Chen Zirui gulped, trying hard to recall where he had offended him.
“Because I wore your bathrobe?”
“No.”
Chen Zirui scratched his head. “Could it be because I stayed too long and you’re starting to regret it?”
Xiang Wanxing took a deep breath, holding back his rage. “No.”
Chen Zirui frowned, seemingly thinking of something, and hurriedly said, “It can’t be because of what I said that morning, right?”
This time Xiang Wanxing didn’t deny it. Chen Zirui realized he had guessed correctly, and his expression turned somewhat ugly.
“Are you really addicted to my ass?” Chen Zirui said with annoyance. “I shouldn’t have agreed to sleep with you. Great, now I’m going to be targeted by your fiancé!”
Xiang Wanxing paused. “Fiancé?”
“Yeah, your royal fiancé.” Chen Zirui’s face grew grimmer as he spoke. “Don’t go spreading rumors about us sleeping together. I’m still in District B and haven’t saved Xialin yet. I don’t want to die a mysterious death.”
Xiang Wanxing laughed out of anger, pinching the back of Chen Zirui’s neck.
“So, you didn’t listen to a single word I said that day, did you?” Xiang Wanxing was so exasperated by Chen Zirui that he couldn’t help but raise his voice. “I told you, no matter what you hear, it isn’t necessarily true.”
Chen Zirui blinked. “So, you don’t have a fiancé?”
“No.”
Chen Zirui thought for a moment, then couldn’t help asking another question. “Then you and Xie Miaohan…”
Xiang Wanxing interrupted him directly. “No.”
This shocked Chen Zirui even more than the lack of a fiancé. It took him several minutes to react.
“Then why were you so ambiguous with him?”
Xiang Wanxing laughed aloud—from sheer frustration with Chen Zirui.
“Did you ever see me touch his ass?”
Very blunt, very vulgar. But if he didn’t say it like that, he estimated that with Chen Zirui’s thick skull, he would continue to get the wrong idea.
“No.”
Chen Zirui’s eyes went round. “Then why didn’t you explain? You caused Brother Gu to misunderstand for so long.”
“Xie Miaohan deliberately set that trap. I have no obligation to explain.”
“But you explained it to me.”
“Are you the same as them?” Xiang Wanxing was infuriated by his train of thought. He bit Chen Zirui’s lip, slightly punishing him. “Why are you so dense?”
Chen Zirui seemed to understand Xiang Wanxing’s meaning but dared not truly think in that direction.
After all, the gap between them was right there.
Xiang Wanxing had a noble status and his own power within the army. While he had nothing; the money in his card couldn’t even afford the watch on Xiang Wanxing’s wrist.
As long as he didn’t fall too deep, once he rescued Gu Huaiye and Chen Xialin, he and Xiang Wanxing would have no more interactions, and he could withdraw at any time.
“Aiy, it’s fine now that it’s explained.” Chen Zirui laughed awkwardly a few times, breaking free from Xiang Wanxing’s embrace. “I won’t talk to you anymore; I’m going to save Brother Gu.”
Xiang Wanxing grabbed his arm. “Don’t go. Xie Miaohan is watching Gu Huaiye very closely right now. It’s useless even if you go.”
“Then what can I do? I’m tired of TV, tired of my phone. I said I’d come to save them, but what am I doing all day?”
Seeing him get emotional, Xiang Wanxing pressed the car keys into Chen Zirui’s hand.
Chen Zirui looked down at the keys in surprise. “What are you doing?”
Xiang Wanxing rubbed his head, helpless yet doting.
“Didn’t you want to drive?” Xiang Wanxing said. “If you keep chattering, I’m going to change my mind.”
Chen Zirui’s bad mood vanished instantly without a trace. “Of course I want to drive! It’s my first time driving such a good car.”
After speaking, Chen Zirui immediately sat in the driver’s seat, his face full of excitement.
Worried he would get too excited and forget his own safety, Xiang Wanxing hurriedly sat in the passenger seat.
“Drive slowly.”
“You’re kidding. How can you drive a sports car slowly?”
Thanks to Chen Zirui, Xiang Wanxing received the first traffic ticket of his life.
