Chapter 86: Chen Xialin Has Gone Abroad

After attending Chen Zirui’s wedding, Gu Huaiye returned to days where he rarely saw Xie Miaohan.

“I guess so. I’ll just ask Xiang Wanxing for help.” Worry appeared in Chen Zirui’s eyes. “Brother Gu, are you really okay?”

Gu Huaiye smiled and lied against his heart, “If he gets married sooner, I won’t have to worry about him coming to find me.”

Chen Xialin had anticipated his choice, sighed helplessly, and said no more.

This morning, when Chen Xialin boarded the plane, he sent Gu Huaiye a message.

If you change your mind, you can come find me abroad anytime.

If you don’t want to, it doesn’t matter. Just consider it a perfect period to my long, unrequited love.

“I know.” Gu Huaiye picked up the watering can, turned off the tap, and said slowly, “He told me before.”

“Then you…” Xie Miaohan swallowed, looking at Gu Huaiye cautiously. “Do you still want to leave me… leave District B?”

Gu Huaiye’s movements paused.

He lowered his head, avoiding Xie Miaohan’s expectant gaze.

“I have to leave.”

He didn’t appear again for the entire remaining month.
