Chapter 20: You Will Only Ever Give Things to Him
On the high-end leather sofa, Yu Xiuqing had his legs crossed. His long, deep phoenix eyes were half-lidded, exuding a trace of laziness.
He was wearing a white shirt with the top two buttons undone, revealing a sexy, powerful chest.
He held a cigar in his hand. His long, beautiful fingers were well-defined, looking very elegant.
Su Huaiyao’s petite, exquisite body sat in his lap. The large bathrobe was loose, his soft, delicate skin pressed against the man’s sturdy, powerful chest.
His slender, jade-like arms were wrapped around Yu Xiuqing’s neck. His pretty face was flushed, his eyes hazy, and his voice flirtatious:
“Xiuqing-gege, don’t smoke~ I don’t like the smell, and it’s bad for your health.”
Yu Xiuqing curled his lips nonchalantly, but he still stubbed the cigar out in the ashtray. He rubbed the other’s pink hair, his tender voice deep and low:
“Okay. I won’t smoke.”
Su Huaiyao nodded in satisfaction. His lipstick-covered lips gave the man a reward-like kiss on the cheek, immediately leaving a deep red print.
“Xiuqing-gege is so good!”
“Heh. You little vixen.”
Yu Xiuqing let out a soul-hooking low laugh from his throat. His eyes held a trace of obsession and joy. His hand holding the youth’s waist tightened, pulling him closer.
The two had their foreheads pressed together, their breaths intermingling. The air was filled with a familiar masculine scent.
“You big meanie, I’m not a vixen!”
A blush appeared on Su Huaiyao’s face. He shyly pounded on the man’s chest. The soft touch brought a tremor, making his entire body go weak.
His breathing gradually grew heavy, his eyes showing undisguised desire and urgency. He moved his body forward, desperately craving Yu Xiuqing’s love and response.
At the window, Shen Yuan watched this ambiguous scene, feeling as though thousands of ants were crawling over his heart.
Mister Yu, whom he had loved from the start, was staring at someone else with a burning, love-filled gaze.
Those dark, deep eyes had looked at him the same way every night in the past. But there was no love—only… overwhelming desire and conquest.
Shen Yuan felt he was sad to the extreme. Tears rolled down his soft, pale cheeks, and he couldn’t stop them.
He clutched that dirty rabbit plush tightly. He was like a homeless stray kitten.
“Don’t… don’t kiss…”
The little fool sobbed in pain. He didn’t dare continue peeking, fearing he would see something he shouldn’t…
Just as he was about to turn and leave, he lost his footing. His body suddenly fell toward a nearby flower vase…
The warm yellow light in the house shone on the two, casting an ambiguous silhouette.
At a time like this, not doing something would truly be a waste of the atmosphere.
Yu Xiuqing’s fingers stroked the youth’s smooth, delicate skin with an uncontrollable desire.
Then he gently lifted the sharp chin. Just as he was about to kiss the sexy, thin lips, a sound of a vase shattering came from outside, followed by a scream.
Immediately after, Butler Wu’s surprised voice rang out: “Shen Yuan? Why are you here? Get up!”
Hearing the name, Yu Xiuqing instinctively turned his head toward the window. He also let go of the youth.
He looked at the hazy shadows outside the glass window. His sharp eyes narrowed, his emotions unreadable.
With the good mood ruined, Su Huaiyao frowned in dissatisfaction, his anger flaring up. But he couldn’t explode, so he could only say aggrievedly:
“Xiuqing-gege… what’s going on?”
Yu Xiuqing withdrew his gaze. The lust and interest in his heart had long been dispelled by that scream.
He gently removed the youth’s arms from his neck and patted the rounded buttocks on his lap, saying in a deep voice:
“Get down first. I’ll go take a look.”
“Fine…”
Su Huaiyao could only slide off him reluctantly, deliberately placing his “injured” leg on the coffee table.
The loose bathrobe was intentionally undone slightly. the collar slowly dropped, revealing one side of his pale, tender shoulder.
Yu Xiuqing stood up and quickly buttoned himself. From the corner of his eye, he saw a hint of cherry red on the other’s chest, as if it could drip water the next second.
This unintentional seduction still made the man’s gaze darken for a moment, his Adam’s apple bobbing.
He didn’t think much of it, nor did he notice the unsatisfied look on Su Huaiyao’s face. He just pulled the other’s bathrobe up, said “Cover up,” and walked outside.
Su Huaiyao watched the man’s slender back, then turned his gaze toward Shen Yuan at the window. His slender fingers were clenched together, his body shaking slightly with anger.
Dammit. He was just about to kiss Yu Xiuqing, and that fool just had to interrupt them at a time like this!
This little bitch must have done it on purpose!
He had secretly processed Shen Yuan’s discharge and abandoned him at the hospital. Why did the other manage to return to the manor safely when he had no money for a taxi and didn’t know the way?!
He gritted his teeth in anger, feeling immense jealousy and a sense of crisis toward Shen Yuan’s pure yet seductive face.
Su Huaiyao took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down. A malicious smile appeared on his seductive lips.
Since the other had returned in defiance of death, he had a thousand ways to torment and then kick out this fool.
On the other side, Yu Xiuqing opened the door. The first thing he saw was Shen Yuan with his head lowered, his face red, sobbing intermittently while being scolded harshly by Butler Wu.
Below the window, the vase was shattered into pieces. The expensive roses inside were scattered, petals wilting. The mess and blood on the floor were startling.
He frowned slightly but remained silent.
But why was Shen Yuan discharged?
The light from inside the house shone onto the lawn. Butler Wu immediately turned around and glared at the sobbing youth before walking quickly to the man, saying respectfully:
“Master Yu.”
Yu Xiuqing crossed his arms, leaning against the doorframe. He gestured to the youth with his chin and asked, “What happened?”
Butler Wu said in loathing: “That fool wandered back from who knows where, smelling like a mess. He also broke the vase of roses Su Xiansheng was carefully nurturing.”
Yu Xiuqing lifted his eyelids impatiently and instructed: “Clean up the shards and bring him inside.”
Having said that, he turned and went back inside without looking back.
The butler nodded: “Understood, Master Yu.”
Shen Yuan, standing in the open air, shivered from the cold wind. He stared fixedly at the man’s retreating back, an immense loneliness in his eyes.
Because the hearing in his left ear had declined, he couldn’t hear what the man said to Uncle Wu.
Perhaps he told Uncle Wu to throw him far away…
At this thought, the youth felt a surge of bitterness. He hugged his own shoulders and sobbed softly.
“What are you crying for! You only know how to cry!”
Looking at the youth’s piteous state made Uncle Wu even angrier. He raised his hand and struck the boy’s head heavily.
Shen Yuan cried out in pain, but he didn’t dare shout too loudly. He could only swallow his grievance.
“Master Yu told me to bring you inside. Follow me!”
Uncle Wu pulled Shen Yuan into the villa without a word. His massive strength pulled the boy’s thin clothes halfway down. He muttered in disdain:
“It’s not enough that you’re stupid; you have to wander around too. Which sewer did you fall into this time? Disgusting!”
Shen Yuan didn’t say a word. A gust of cold wind blew into his chest, making him shiver, yet he could only stumble along as he was dragged.
It wasn’t until they were inside that the calloused hand finally let him go, giving him a chance to breathe.
The house was very silent. Aside from Uncle Wu and Yu Xiuqing standing by the sofa, there was only the sound of his own breathing.
He cautiously lifted his head to look at the man but was startled back a step by his cold gaze. The little rabbit in his hand nearly fell.
Before Yu Xiuqing could speak, Su Huaiyao poked his head out from behind the sofa and said:
“Hi! Shen Yuan, you’re discharged too?”
Shen Yuan didn’t like talking to him. Scenes of being bullied in the hospital room that night kept flashing in his mind.
He kept his head lowered. Suddenly, his eyes caught the music note necklace hanging around the other’s neck. His heart jolted.
Why did even the only gift Mister Yu had ever left him have to be snatched by this person and claimed as his own…
The sapphire on the pendant sparkled. Shen Yuan’s eyes seemed irritated by the sparkle, and bloodvessels appeared in the whites of his eyes. Without a word, he ran to the sofa and reached out to grab the necklace:
“Give… it back!”
Su Huaiyao was startled by the sudden movement. Fearing the other would choke him by pulling, he didn’t dare move.
“Shen Yuan, le-let go! Xiuqing-gege gave this to me. How can you say it’s yours?”
Yu Xiuqing, seeing this, grabbed that cold wrist and shouted harshly: “Shen Yuan! What kind of madness is this! Take your dirty hands off! Don’t touch Xiaoyao!”
Shen Yuan looked up at the man with tear-blurred eyes, his voice pleading: “But this necklace… was the first birthday gift Xiansheng gave me…”
Yu Xiuqing, worried about his white moonlight being harmed, didn’t waste words with him and simply pried the boy’s hand away forcefully.
Shen Yuan’s face turned pale from the pain. He fell to the floor, and the plush in his arms rolled away.
“Little rabbit… my little rabbit…”
He murmured anxiously. He sat up and crawled over to pick the plush up. Suddenly, a black leather shoe stepped heavily onto the rabbit plush’s head. A bone-chillingly cold and thin voice came from above:
“Shen Yuan, listen well. Everything in the Yu house—including what I’ve given you—as long as Xiaoyao likes it, you will only ever give things to him. Do you understand?”
Shen Yuan’s small hands tremblingly pulled at the plush’s arms, but it wouldn’t move because it was being stepped on too hard.
He sobbed intermittently: “Don’t step… my little rabbit. Give… it back…”
The man leaned down and grabbed his hair, forcing him to lift his neck and meet his gaze. He threw out a few words coldly:
“I’ll ask one more time. Do you understand?”
Shen Yuan nodded in terror, looking at him with the most obedient yet helpless expression. His large eyes were full of tears:
“Un… understood. Yuanyuan will be good… I’ll give everything to Su Xiansheng… please… please don’t step on the little rabbit anymore. It will hurt…”
