Chapter 48: Going to Take Photos, and Watch a Movie
But his desire had already broken through its shackles; his mind was filled with nothing but the sweet Yu Deng.
Drowned in tears, face flushed, brimming with a sense of fragility yet stubbornly enduring the unbearableâit truly incited oneâs wicked desire to oppress him.
He just wanted to feast greedily.
It was intoxicating.
At a time like this, who cared about acting like a proper human?
“What are you just standing there for? Hurry up and rub the medicine on me!”
Was he just going to ignore him after squeezing him dry?
“Everywhere needs to be rubbed, and do it gently!”
Though his voice was raspy, it couldn’t hide Yu Dengâs bad temper. He swung a palm against Zhou Yuejunâs neck.
With a loud “pa,” the sound was quite crisp.
He was just one step away from standing over him and kicking Zhou Yuejunâs face.
Of course, even if it really came to that, Zhou Yuejun would have enjoyed it as if it were sweet nectar.
But Yu Deng wasn’t actually wicked; he was simply exasperated. Having been bullied so miserably by Zhou Yuejun, he felt aggrieved and needed to vent.
Yu Dengâs “injuries” were quite significant this time.
Since he had gained a bit of weight on his inner thighs, Zhou Yuejun was always rubbing them with his hands, even deliberately scraping him.
It was deathly rough; how could he endure constant scraping?
Worse yet, Zhou Yuejun kept teasing him, repeatedly saying things like how he was “chubby.”
He didn’t want to get fat anymore! If he got fat, Zhou Yuejun would only become even more excessive!
Xie Meng needed to go to the provincial capital on Sunday evening and required the car, so Zhou Yuejun could only borrow the tricycle used for construction site procurement.
The back of the tricycle was for hauling cargo and had no seats; one had to sit on a small stool and hold on tight, as it was shaky and easy to fall off.
Zhou Yuejun had scrubbed the back of the vehicle clean and laid down a soft cushion; otherwise, sitting directly on it would be hard on the bottom.
The morning sun was already quite piercing. The moment Yu Deng was exposed to the scorching heat, he felt as if his bare skin was being fried in oil.
Yet his arms, as white as lotus roots, were nearly transparentâmore dazzling than the sunlight itself.
The shop lady brought out some pumpkin seeds to dry. “Going to the mall again?”
Yu Deng nodded like a chick pecking at grain, joy radiating from his face. “Mhm, going to take photos, and watch a movie.”
Zhou Yuejun had told him last night: first, they would take photos in the morning, then watch a movie and have lunch. They would spend their afternoon break at the library, and then he would drop him off at Qiao Fangyuâs house in the late afternoon.
Since the back of the tricycle was somewhat high, Zhou Yuejun lifted Yu Deng up. The young man wiggled his bottom, moved to the very back, and then swung his legs playfully.
Seeing this, the shop lady couldn’t help but sigh in her heart about how good this older brother was to his younger brother.
If any family had such a pair of brothers, they would probably wake up laughing from their dreams.
Because they were taking photos today, Zhou Yuejun had also tidied himself up, no longer looking as unkempt as before.
Not only did he dress himself up, but he also coordinated an outfit for Yu Deng: a short-sleeved shirt with a sailor collar and light brown shorts that cinched at the waist.
Mainly, Yu Deng was beautiful; anything he wore looked striking.
At the photo studio, there were two other couples.
The younger ones appeared to be newlyweds; the girl wore a red dress while the boy wore a white shirt. When they looked at each other, their smiles were reserved yet sweet.
As for the older pair, they were already faltering in their steps; the old grandfather leaned on a cane, and he and the old grandmother supported each otherâit was a truly heartwarming sight.
After the first two groups finished, it was Yu Deng and Zhou Yuejunâs turn.
“You two are taking brotherly photos, right?”
“The older brother can sit on the stool, and the younger brother can stand, with his hand on the older brotherâs shoulder.”
Yu Deng intended to stand as instructed, but his waist was hooked by Zhou Yuejun, and his bottom was pressed onto the chair beside him.
“Sit here.”
“Letâs just take it like this.”
What brothers?
Where did he and Yu Deng look alike?
One by one, why was everyoneâs eyesight so poor?
Since the customer had a request, the photographer naturally complied. “Alright, then look at the lens and smile.”
Zhou Yuejun had seen the previous couples taking photos with their heads leaning together, so he also leaned his head over.
“Lean closer, Dengdeng.”
Zhou Yuejunâs voice was deep, but also seductive and lingering.
Yu Deng pressed his head closer. Between his smiling eyes and brows, it felt as if a fragrant breeze had brushed past oneâs face.
A broad, warm palm rested against the winding line of Yu Dengâs waist, so intimate it was suggestive.
Zhou Yuejun had heard from the people at the KTV that a very good movie had been released recentlyâan animated film imported from abroadâand almost every screening was packed.
Zhou Yuejun had managed to snag two tickets with great difficulty.
Inside the cinema, they sold popcorn and cola, and it wasn’t cheap; the prices nearly rivaled those at KFC.
But Zhou Yuejun still bought a portion of popcorn for Yu Dengâcream-flavored, with a rich, sweet aroma. Yu Deng fed him two bites.
The movie was indeed good. Yu Deng watched with rapt attention; even when he wanted to pee because he had drunk too much water, he didn’t go, holding it in the whole time.
When they came out, Zhou Yuejun was carrying Yu Dengâs bag.
The small bag fit Yu Deng perfectly, but when looped over Zhou Yuejun, it strained against his bulging muscles. One couldn’t help but feel he was…
Not following the “way of a husband.”
Zhou Yuejun still held the popcorn and water. His dark, narrow eyes glanced down, carrying a teasing smile.
“Aren’t you afraid of bursting yourself?”
Yu Deng stomped his feet and turned his body away, dodging Zhou Yuejunâs rogue-like gaze.
“If it really breaks, itâs your fault.”
“Who told you to always pinch me?”
Zhou Yuejun also had an excuse. “How was I supposed to know what you are?”
“The doctor said your body is weak. Itâs hard enough to supplement a bit of your vital essence; how could I let it go to waste like that?”
Yu Deng gnashed his teeth. “…”
He actually couldn’t win the argument.
If he couldn’t win with words, then he would use his fists.
He rained small punches down on Zhou Yuejun.
“I didn’t think movies in the cinema would be this good. The TV at home just shows the same things over and over; Iâm sick of watching them.”
“I want to come again next time!”
His pleasant, crisp voice was like mountain spring water; as it flowed, it carried a refreshing sense of exhilaration.
The TV, which Yu Deng had clearly loved before, had lost its favor in an instant. It made Zhou Yuejun want to tease him for being so fickle.
Zhou Yuejun only chuckled, his features relaxing, his pupils reflecting Yu Dengâs innocence.
“Come on then. We’ll watch another one next week when we come to pick up the photos, and I’ll buy you popcorn again.”
