Ming Yanzhou ground his molars. He realized that Ye Qi’s level was too high; he couldn’t beat him in a fair fight. He could only find a way to get Ye Qi away from Shen Ci.
After a moment of silence, Ming Yanzhou spoke. “I’ll leave as soon as Brother Shen hires someone. If I just up and leave now, Brother Shen would have to go deliver and unload goods with the driver. You might be willing to see that, but I’m not.”
Ye Qi’s brow furrowed slightly. After thinking for a moment, he didn’t object. He wasn’t willing to see that either.

Creeeak—
The door opened, and Shen Ci stepped out of his room.
He froze for a moment when he saw Ming Yanzhou sitting on the sofa. “Xiao Ming, why are you up so early too?” It was only a bit past seven.
Ming Yanzhou instantly suppressed all his coldness and gave Shen Ci an innocent, harmless smile. However, when his gaze landed on the red mark on Shen Ci’s neck, his expression twisted for a fraction of a second before he forced it back down.
“I woke up, so I got out of bed. Brother Shen, what do you want to eat for breakfast?”
“Let’s have beef noodles; I haven’t had them in days.” Shen Ci didn’t notice the low pressure in the living room. He stole a glance at Ye Qi’s profile and quickly looked away when Ye Qi looked back. He looked exactly like someone who had a guilty conscience and was afraid of being found out.
In order to avoid Ye Qi, Shen Ci left the house at the unprecedented time of 7:20 AM.
Ming Yanzhou followed a step behind Shen Ci. His eyes drifted intentionally or unintentionally toward Shen Ci’s rear. His walking posture was normal, and he looked refreshed.
Ming Yanzhou’s heart felt half-chilled. Shen Ci really was a “Top”; they were clashing in positions.
Do I have to become a ‘0’ (Bottom) for love?
Ming Yanzhou’s mind was in a mess.
“Xiao Ming, what’s wrong?”
Hearing Shen Ci’s voice, Ming Yanzhou suddenly snapped back to reality and hurried into the elevator. “Oh, nothing…”
In the elevator, Ming Yanzhou told Shen Ci he wanted to resign. Although Shen Ci was a bit surprised, he thought it was normal since school was starting in half a month and Ming Yanzhou might want to rest for a few days.

Hearing that last sentence, a secret spark of joy rose in Ming Yanzhou’s heart. Brother Shen still had feelings for him.

The two of them ate breakfast at the noodle shop next to the community before heading to the company.
Two trucks of goods were delivered in the morning. By the time Ming Yanzhou and another colleague finished unloading, it was almost twelve o’clock. As soon as he returned to the office, he saw Xiao Hu peeking into Shen Ci’s office.
“Xiao Hu, what are you looking at?” Another colleague, Wang Zheng, suddenly spoke, giving Xiao Hu a fright.
Xiao Hu turned around and quickly made a shushing gesture. “Keep it down.”
“What’s going on?” Wang Zheng lowered his voice. Following Xiao Hu’s gaze, he only saw a man sitting in Shen Ci’s office, though only his back was visible.
Although the office had transparent glass walls, it was quite soundproof once the door was closed, so they couldn’t hear the conversation inside. Xiao Hu looked as if he had finally found someone to share gossip with and became visibly excited.
“Let me tell you, a man just came looking for the Boss with a huge bouquet of roses. The Boss didn’t just not kick him out, he even let him into the office. I don’t know what they’re talking about.”
After speaking, Xiao Hu clicked his tongue. “I haven’t heard about the Boss breaking up with the Boss’s Wife, have I? Could this guy be a ‘third party’? Chasing the Boss like crazy… The Boss wouldn’t cheat on the Boss’s Wife, would he?”
The more Xiao Hu spoke, the brighter his eyes became, as if he had stumbled upon the truth. Wang Zheng’s lip twitched, his expression somewhat complicated.
“You’ve been reading too many Fanqie novels, haven’t you? The Boss’s Wife is so good-looking, gentle, and treats the Boss so well. How could the Boss cheat on him?”
During the last company dinner, Ye Qi had come along and essentially declared his sovereignty in front of everyone. Only then did the people in the company find out that Shen Ci was actually gay. Furthermore, Ye Qi was truly beautiful and spoke very gently. The two of them looked very pleasing to the eye sitting together. In short, everyone approved of this union—except for Ming Yanzhou.
Ming Yanzhou’s face darkened completely. His gaze fell on that familiar back in the room, and he couldn’t help but grind his molars.
What third party?
This was clearly a shameless “fourth party.” Taking advantage of his absence to dig at his wall—absolutely despicable.
“Hey, Xiao Ming, where are you going?” Xiao Hu saw Ming Yanzhou turn around and called out to him in a low voice.
Ming Yanzhou’s face was cold, and his voice carried a chill. “I’m going out to make a call.”
He was going to call out this shameless Jiang Ningyuan. Just as Xiao Hu was about to speak, his pupils suddenly dilated.
Ye Qi had actually arrived.
Seeing the few people standing there, a faint smile appeared on Ye Qi’s face. “Is Ah Ci in his office?”
Xiao Hu: “…” Wang Zheng: “…”
Ming Yanzhou’s brow arched slightly. He silently put away his phone, adopting the posture of someone watching a good show. Ye Qi had arrived at the perfect time.
“Brother Shen is in, but…” Ming Yanzhou paused for a moment before flashing Ye Qi a vicious smile. “But Brother Shen is chatting with his pursuer right now. I’m afraid he doesn’t have time for you.”
Ye Qi’s grip on the insulated lunch box suddenly tightened. After two seconds, he calmed down again. He looked at Ming Yanzhou, a smile curling his lips, his voice carrying a hint of showing off.
“Is that so? But last night on the bed, Ah Ci was still saying he only loves me…” Ye Qi then changed his tone. “However, there are always some shameless people throwing themselves at Ah Ci. It’s truly quite annoying.”
Ming Yanzhou: “…” Shit!
He turned his face away, refusing to talk to Ye Qi anymore. He realized now that he simply couldn’t win an argument against Ye Qi; they weren’t on the same level. Every time, he just brought humiliation upon himself.
As for Xiao Hu and Wang Zheng, they were in a state of shock. Why did it feel like there was a smell of gunpowder between these two? Did Xiao Ming just sell out the Boss like that? If the Boss really was cheating, wouldn’t this be awkward?
But after hearing Ye Qi’s words, they were even more shocked!!!
Is this something they should be hearing?
Although—it felt quite exciting. No wonder the Boss came to work today with a hickey; it turns out last night was wild!
Seeing Ming Yanzhou unhappy made Ye Qi happy. He straightened his back a bit more and walked toward Shen Ci’s office. Under the gossiping gazes of Xiao Hu and Wang Zheng, he knocked on Shen Ci’s office door.
Soon, footsteps came from inside. Shen Ci opened the door and froze for a moment when he saw Ye Qi standing there.
“Why are you here?”
Ye Qi gave Shen Ci a very tender smile and raised the insulated box in his hand. “I came to bring you a ‘love lunch’.” He winked at Shen Ci. “Is it convenient for me to come in?”
