Chapter 111: Little Lord
After dinner, Ji Shuohan wiped Dudu’s small mouth. Just as he was picking him up to leave, a loud shatter came from behind. He and Ye Zhile turned around at the same time and saw a waiter had dropped a tray of plates and was being scolded by the manager.
“I’m asking you, do you even know how to do this? How many plates have you broken already? Do the job if you can, and if not, get lost!” The manager was clearly out of patience. The boy kept apologizing. “I’m sorry, Manager. I’m sorry. I’ll do better.”
Ye Zhile hadn’t intended to watch, but the voice sounded familiar. He looked closely and was stunned. The waiter was actually Lin Yang, who had been missing for a long time.
Lin Yang also seemed to notice their gaze. He looked up, his face filled with embarrassment. Ignoring the manager’s scolding, he hurried away.
Ever since he had framed Lu Xingyan and Ye Zhile last time, Ji Shuohan had someone gather evidence and reported it to the police. The Empire’s laws regarding Omega safety were comprehensive. Framing an Omega using forced or illegal means was a punishable offense. Although he hadn’t personally administered the drug—another Alpha had—he was the mastermind. Ultimately, his family’s connections managed to keep him out of prison.
But who would have thought that after he came out, the Lin family’s business would plummet. It was a sunset industry, and selling several properties couldn’t fill the hole in their finances. Even his university tuition was saved up with difficulty. Out of necessity, he had to come out to work.
But Lin Yang had been pampered since childhood; he didn’t know how to do any of this. He hit walls everywhere he went, but he couldn’t afford not to work.
He regretted it. Why had he provoked Ye Zhile in the first place…?
Ji Shuohan looked at Ye Zhile. Seeing him dazed, he held Dudu with one arm and flicked Zhile’s nose with the other hand. “Let’s go.”
Ye Zhile snapped out of it. Ji Shuohan took his hand as they walked out.
“I didn’t expect him to…” Ye Zhile sat in the car hugging a small cushion, his chin resting on it. Although Lin Yang wasn’t from a noble family, his family was wealthy. He hadn’t expected him to fall to this level.
Ye Zhile looked at Ji Shuohan. “Did you do it?”
“Not me.” Ji Shuohan played with Dudu and looked at him. “I only followed the normal procedures to collect evidence and report to the police. But the matter with his family was the Lu family’s doing.”
Lu Xingyan was the only child of his family. After such an incident, the Lu family naturally wouldn’t let Lin Yang off.
“Oh.” Ye Zhile grabbed Dudu’s small hand. Dudu’s two little front teeth were showing; he was truly delightful and quickly made Ye Zhile forget what had just happened.
They had a great time today. After spending some time with Dudu in the nursery, the two went back to their bedroom.
Ye Zhile was having a long phone call with Leng Xingtu while Ji Shuohan was showering.
The two were talking about the start of school. After this semester, they would start their internships. Leng Xingtu was very excited. “I heard the school will arrange for us to intern at DDTV! My god! That’s the most prestigious TV station in the Empire!”
DDTV, short for the Empire News and Broadcasting TV Station, was the most established and difficult TV station to enter. Those who could get in were all powerful figures who could hold their own. For newbies like them without experience or seniority to be able to enter was entirely due to Imperial Star University being awesome! Its background was too powerful!
Ye Zhile was also looking forward to the internship. Both of them were full of hope for the future, talking for a full two hours.
Hanging up the phone, seeing that Ji Shuohan’s hair was still wet, he sat up, took out the hair dryer, and ran over diligently. “I’ll dry Daren’s hair.”
“Okay.” Ji Shuohan leaned back on the sofa. Ye Zhile knelt beside him to dry his hair.
“How is the temperature?” Ye Zhile asked caringly. Ji Shuohan nodded. “It’s fine. You’re serving me well.”
Ye Zhile chuckled at those words. The Omega’s laughter was bright, and the scent of freesias wafted out. Ji Shuohan’s eyes darkened. Once Zhile put down the hair dryer, he picked him up by the waist. “Now it’s my turn to serve you.”
“What?” Ye Zhile’s eyes were wide with confusion. Ji Shuohan mimicked him, looking at the person beneath him with an even more innocent gaze. “What?”
“……” Ye Zhile laughed in annoyance. “Why are you mimicking me!”
“I’m not mimicking you,” Ji Shuohan said as he released his pheromones. Ye Zhile was wrapped in the gentle pheromones and soon his gaze became hazy. Ji Shuohan lightly pecked his lips, his voice husky. “Baby…”
Last time Ji Shuohan had been a jerk, not only hurting him but also being unrepentant. This time he was cautious and careful, providing Ye Zhile with a manageable amount of pleasure within his control. The foreplay was thorough, and he didn’t hurt him. It was just that Ye Zhile was still very shy and couldn’t let go; after a while, he was crying and calling for him to stop.
Finally, after two simple rounds, Ji Shuohan stopped. He stroked the Omega’s delicate and smooth back. “Little Lord, how was my service?”
Ye Zhile snuggled lazily in the crook of his arm and yawned. “It was okay.”
Ji Shuohan gave a light hmph and teased him. “Not satisfied? Then again?”
Ye Zhile reached his hand forward in a gesture of ‘stop.’ “I’m not a foolish king, and you aren’t a demonic concubine. We should practice moderation.”
Heaven knows how much energy he had to use to deal with an Enigma. He really didn’t have the strength to mess around with Ji Shuohan.
Ji Shuohan brushed away the stray hairs on his forehead, revealing a clean brow. He kissed it and asked for Ye Zhile’s opinion. “Little Lord, in a few days, let’s do the permanent marking, okay?”
Ye Zhile opened his eyes. Seeing the lingering affection in Ji Shuohan’s eyes, his own eyes curved into a smile. “Okay.”
Ye Zhile was truly exhausted. After Ji Shuohan cleaned him up, he fell asleep the moment he hit the bed.
From that night on, Ye Zhile had another nickname with Ji Shuohan. Previously it was “Baby,” and now it was “Little Lord.”
Ji Shuohan said that Ye Zhile was the person who came to judge him.
The consequence of Ji Shuohan playing with Ye Zhile for a few days was an endless pile of work. He left early and returned late every day. Before they could enjoy each other’s company, Ye Zhile would be sleepy and want to go to bed, so Ji Shuohan could only let him sleep.
Finally, school started for Ye Zhile. Both were busy. Aside from nighttime, they had no time together. Ji Shuohan dropped him off at school. Before getting out of the car, Ye Zhile gave him a kiss.
“You don’t know how worried I was when you were kidnapped!” As soon as Leng Xingtu met Ye Zhile, he started talking non-stop. “I originally wanted Ye Zhichen to take me along, but my dad heard and locked me at home again.”
“Hahaha…” Ye Zhile couldn’t stop laughing, but he also disagreed with him. “Why would you follow? It was so dangerous. I’m telling you, pheromone extraction hurts so much.”
“Tsk~” Leng Xingtu shuddered at the thought. “Was the leader of that organization sentenced to death?”
“Yeah. He harmed so many people,” Ye Zhile said.
“He brought it on himself,” Leng Xingtu said.
