EO Romance: The Supreme Leader Is About to Enter the Crematorium Chapter 112

Chapter 112: Valentine’s Day

Ye Zhile and Leng Xingtu made a date to go to the restaurant they often visited. Normally, when they were at school, they would invite Lu Xingyan and Han Haocheng. However, this time Leng Xingtu invited both, but neither came.

“Maybe they’re busy dating?” Ye Zhile guessed. Leng Xingtu nodded. “It’s possible.”

After finishing their meal, Ye Zhile even ordered a takeout of salt-and-pepper spicy crab. Leng Xingtu asked him, “Who is that for?”

“For Ji Shuohan. Last time I told him this salt-and-pepper crab was good and he said he’d come next time, but he’s been quite busy, so I’m bringing some back for him,” Ye Zhile said.

As they spoke, the two went downstairs. Ji Shuohan’s car was parked at the entrance. Ye Zhile turned and asked Leng Xingtu, “Did you call your driver? Do you want us to drop you off?”

“No need, I called a car. Besides, I don’t want to be a third wheel,” Leng Xingtu said, waving at Ye Zhile. “I’m leaving first. See you tomorrow.”

“Okay.”

Ye Zhile got into the car and handed the takeout to Ji Shuohan. “Have you eaten?”

“Not yet.” Ji Shuohan looked up. “What is this?”

“Salt-and-pepper spicy crab. Eat it when we get back,” Ye Zhile smiled.

Back home, Ye Zhile accompanied Ji Shuohan for dinner. He sucked on a piece of crab, but since he had just eaten, he was quite full, so he just took one and ate it slowly.

Ye Zhile was washing up in the bathroom. Just as he finished brushing his teeth, Ji Shuohan came in, hugged him from behind, and buried his face in his neck. It made Ye Zhile’s neck itch. He shrugged his shoulders. “What are you doing?”

Ji Shuohan kissed his cheek. “I’m waiting for the Little Lord outside.”

Ye Zhile couldn’t help but laugh, his face heating up. He looked at Ji Shuohan. “You’re like a fox spirit that sucks people’s life essence.”

Ji Shuohan ignored him and tempted him. “Why don’t we take a bath together?”

“Didn’t you already shower?” Ye Zhile simply couldn’t look at him. Ji Shuohan raised an eyebrow. “So what if I shower again?”

As he spoke, he sat Ye Zhile on the vanity. Ye Zhile hurriedly wrapped his arms around his neck. Seeing the intense desire in Ji Shuohan’s eyes, he was both startled and afraid. He reached out to cover Ji Shuohan’s eyes.

Ji Shuohan chuckled but didn’t remove his hand. “Let’s do the permanent marking tonight, okay?”

Ye Zhile nodded, then realized Ji Shuohan couldn’t see, so he spoke. “Okay…”

Ye Zhile removed his hand. The mist in the bathroom rose up, blurring Ji Shuohan’s features. Ye Zhile’s heart felt like it was about to jump out of his throat; he was extremely nervous.

Ji Shuohan covered his lips with his own…

Amidst the hazy mist, there were only two figures, tightly intertwined.

On the weekend, Ye Zhile didn’t have school and Ji Shuohan didn’t have to go to work, so they stayed home to play with Dudu. Ye Zhile lay on Ji Shuohan’s lap reading a book. Ji Shuohan reminded him, “Reading like that is bad for your eyes. Sit up and read.”

“Oh.” Ye Zhile sat up and leaned against his shoulder, looking at the book sideways. Ji Shuohan was almost laughed into a rage. He pulled the book out of his hand. “Don’t read. I can see you don’t have your heart in it at all.”

“It’s so boring at home…” Ye Zhile rested his chin on his shoulder and muttered. “I want to go out and play, but a two-day break isn’t enough at all.”

Ji Shuohan turned his head. Ye Zhile’s clean little face was right before his eyes, staring at him with deer-like eyes. Ji Shuohan couldn’t resist kissing his nose and wrapping his arms around his waist. “Where do you want to go?”

Ye Zhile shook his head. “Never mind. Let’s wait until the holiday.”

When school finished that day, Ye Zhile didn’t see Ji Shuohan there to pick him up. Instead, he saw his second brother. Ye Zhichen pulled him into the car, grabbed his shoulders, and said very solemnly, “Dear brother, I need your help with something.”

“What is it…?” Ye Zhile asked.

“Well… Valentine’s Day is coming up,” Ye Zhichen said with hidden meaning. Ye Zhile cooperated and nodded. “And?”

“I want you to help me ask Xingtu out. I have something to say to him,” Ye Zhichen said.

Ye Zhile realized immediately. He smiled mysteriously at Ye Zhichen. “Are you going to confess to Xingtu?”

Ye Zhichen pinched his small face. “You’re the cleverest!”

“Really?” Ye Zhile covered his mouth. “Okay! I’ll help you! What are you going to do?”

“Nothing special. You just need to ask Xingtu to the Hebo’er Restaurant on Valentine’s Day,” Ye Zhichen said.

“Okay! I’ll make sure he’s dressed beautifully when he stands before you,” Ye Zhile smiled. He felt that participating in someone else’s confession was novel and fun, with a hint of excitement.

“You know quite a lot,” Ye Zhichen teased him.

Ye Zhile gave a “heehee” laugh.

Ye Zhile couldn’t keep this little secret. After returning home, he told Ji Shuohan. Ji Shuohan feigned shock upon hearing it. “Is that so? When did your second brother and Leng Xingtu get together?”

“No idea. Maybe they just caught each other’s eye at some point,” Ye Zhile said. He then added excitedly, “I’m so excited! I’m going to see my second brother confess to my best friend! Hahaha…”

Ye Zhile was so excited he hugged Ji Shuohan and shook him. Ji Shuohan stroked his head and indulged him. “Do you think it’s very fun?”

“How did you know?” Ye Zhile’s eyes lit up. Ji Shuohan chuckled. “The Little Lord’s thoughts aren’t difficult to guess at all.”

“Tch!” Ye Zhile said dismissively. Leaning against Ji Shuohan’s chest, he said to himself, “I used to watch others confess and thought it was so fun. Especially when everyone is cheering; even though you aren’t the one being confessed to, you’re more excited than the people involved. Heehee~”

Ji Shuohan, thinking of who-knows-what, rubbed Ye Zhile’s head and leaned down to kiss the top of his head.

On Valentine’s Day, Ye Zhile was thinking of an excuse to ask Xingtu out. After all, it was Valentine’s Day, so one should spend it with someone they liked. He thought Xingtu would think so too. But when Ye Zhile calmly told Leng Xingtu he wanted to ask him to dinner at Hebo’er Restaurant, Leng Xingtu agreed immediately, looking even more excited than he had imagined.

Ye Zhile hesitated for a moment, feeling something was off, but seeing that Leng Xingtu was only excited for a second, he didn’t think much of it.

After school, Ye Zhile pulled Leng Xingtu to the Hebo’er Restaurant. Hebo’er was a high-end private restaurant with a romance theme, specifically for couples. Normally there was no limit on the number of people, but on special holidays, it only served one couple.

“Lele, what are you silly-grinning about?” During the car ride there, Leng Xingtu noticed Ye Zhile was secretly smiling. He looked at him and thought in his heart: He couldn’t have found out, could he?!

Ye Zhile was also afraid Leng Xingtu would find out, so he quickly pretended to be nonchalant. “Nothing. I wasn’t smiling about anything.”

Although Ye Zhile said that, the words ‘I’m up to something’ seemed to be written clearly on his face.
