He closed the diary and placed it back into the small box. He turned his head to look out the window, his gaze unable to find a focal point.
Finally, the System sensed that something was wrong with him and inquired:
[Xiao 1: Master, whatâs wrong?]
Shen Shuyu gradually recovered his wits. At the moment he finished the diary, he had felt his hands and feet go ice-cold.
He replied: [Shen Shuyu (Fish) was also a transmigrator.]

Just as he finished speaking, he noticed a ring on Shen Yisiâs hand.
Based on his knowledge of Shen Yisi, the man didn’t like wearing jewelry or accessories on his hands. This was a simple, plain band, yet it looked remarkably distinct on his finger.
Noticing his gaze, Shen Yisi lowered his head slightly to look at the ring as well. He said, “I came here today because I wanted to tell you all that I’m getting married.”
Despite being mentally prepared for some news, the other three couldn’t help but be astonished. Father Shen said, “I haven’t heard you mention this before. Who are you marrying?”

Shen Yisi patiently listened to Mother Shenâs barrage of questions before explaining one by one, “He is very good. It’s not fast; we have a long-standing emotional foundation. He is currently a doctor, and his parents are doctors too, though they are currently serving as Interstellar Doctors away from Amor.”
The more they heard, the more familiar it sounded. Shen Shuyu suddenly remembered the bite mark heâd seen on Yue Chengâs gland a while back and the obvious oddity between Shen Yisi and Yue Cheng lately.
Mother Shen looked at Father Shen and whispered, “Why does this feel so familiar?”
Shen Shuyu looked at Shen Yisi. He parted his lips and asked, “Is it Yue Cheng-ge?”
“Right! Itâs Yue Cheng! That boy Yue Cheng isâ” Mother Shen suddenly stopped mid-sentence. “Yue Cheng??”
Shen Yisi smiled and nodded. “Yes, itâs Yue Cheng. I plan to go get our marriage license once he recovers a bit more.”
Mother Shen blinked and instinctively looked at Father Shen. Father Shen said, “But Yue Cheng is… an Alpha.”
Shen Yisi gave a hum of affirmation. “Our family has never said Alphas can’t marry Alphas.”
That was true, and Yue Cheng was a good child, but the shock was so great that Father and Mother Shen didn’t know how to respond.
Over the years, Yue Cheng had been very close to the Shen family. Knowing his parents weren’t home during holidays, they would often invite him over. They had essentially watched the boy grow up.
But they never imagined that Shen Yisi and Yue Cheng were going to get married.
Shen Yisi looked at Mother Shen. “Mom, do you disagree?”
Mother Shen immediately replied, “Mom didn’t say I disagree. I just need a moment to process…”

As she spoke, she reached out to rub Shen Shuyuâs head. She continued, “Mommy knows you must have thought long and hard about this decision. Once Yue Cheng is better, bring him over for a meal. As for the marriage license, I think you should also ask Yue Cheng’s parents to see their attitude.”
Shen Yisi nodded. “Okay, I will contact them.”
Mother Shen took a deep breath. “This is so sudden. We haven’t even looked for a wedding home. After you marry, you’ll stay…”
Shen Yisi gently interrupted her. “Mom, after the marriage, I will stay at Yue Chengâs place for a while.”
Mother Shen nodded. “Fine, itâs true that it might be awkward for a newlywed couple to live in the family home. Tomorrow, your father and I will go out to look at some properties for you. Weâll pick a place close to both the company and the hospital. Whatever Yue Cheng is due, he shall have.”
The family talked for a long while. Shen Yisi still had to go back to the hospital to look after Yue Cheng, so he left after dinner.
Mother Shen sighed. “I used to think this child would stay single for the rest of his life. I didn’t expect him to drop such a bombshell.”
Shen Shuyu said, “Mom, this is a good thing. Ge knows what he’s doing, and Yue Cheng-ge is great, isn’t he?”
Mother Shen nodded. “True. Your brother has only really had him as a close friend since they were little.”
And now, friends had become lovers.
Shen Shuyu chatted with Mother Shen for a bit more before making an excuse to go upstairs.
He lay flat on his bed. The information load over the past two days was too much; his brain felt muddled.
Suddenly, his terminal lit up. He opened it to check his messages.
It was from Wen Jiafei.
