Chapter 64: Hmph Hmph Hmph part 1
Yun Yinghui lunged at Elvis, his blade cutting through the air.
Elvis intended to use his spatial ability to dodge, but just as he was about to move, the rabbit cub suddenly let out a gut-wrenching “Da!”
The rabbit cub’s tragic cry caused Yun Yinghui’s massive ice machete to waver. Elvis, too, narrowly escaped being cleaved; he retreated at high speed, his movements frantic and ungraceful.
The two adults, consumed by worry for the two little cubs, turned their gazes toward them simultaneously.
To give themselves more room to maneuver, the egg cub had used his spatial ability to carve out a larger hollow inside the wall. It was now a space big enough for them to bounce and roll around inside the inner structure.
Seeing that Yun Yinghui was no longer attacking Elvis, the rabbit cub blinked his dark, round eyes. He pointed a little paw at Elvis, then at Yun Yinghui.
Yun Yinghui’s eyelid gave a heavy twitch.
Elvis looked at the two little cubs, who resembled Yun Yingzhi in every possible way, and his eyes overflowed with uncontrollable tenderness.
Seeing that the two adults weren’t fighting anymore, the rabbit cub thought for a moment, wondering if they hadn’t understood his meaning.
The rabbit cub looked at the egg cub and gave him a shove with a tiny paw.
The egg cub toppled over instantly, and the rabbit cub perfectly timed a tragic sound effect: “Da!”
Yun Yinghui: “…”
Elvis: “…?”
Immediately after, the egg cub transformed back into a lively, upright egg.
The rabbit cub clasped his two little paws together and looked at the two adults with an expectant face.
The two men were also staring at the cubs. Yun Yinghui’s face remained an unreadable mask, while Elvis’s gaze was filled with softness.
It was glaringly obvious that Elvis was utterly enamored with the two little things.
The rabbit cub looked at Yun Yinghui and let out several more “Das.”
Yun Yinghui remained unmoved.
The rabbit cub grew a bit unhappy, his long ears drooping. Shifting his gaze, he looked at the egg cub and his ears twitched once. “Da.”
The egg cub caught the meaning instantly. He rolled toward the rabbit cub, stopping with pinpoint precision just a hair’s breadth before impact.
Yun Yinghui had noticed this behavior before.
Perhaps because he had watched Yun Yingzhi’s combat exam, the egg cub had developed a habit of holding back when “fighting” with the rabbit cub. Just like now—he clearly could have slammed into the bunny, but he halted his roll just before contact.
The rabbit cub, acting like a professional insurance scammer, staggered backward, collapsed, and let out a piteous wail: “Da!”

The egg cub’s tiny body wobbled for a moment before he, too, flopped down.
Heartaching, Elvis wiped the rabbit cub’s tears. He reached out his other hand to pick up the egg cub, only to be met with a loud “Awoo!” from the bunny.
Elvis’s hand froze as he looked at the tearful yet “milk-fierce” rabbit cub.
The rabbit cub flapped his two ears and “Awoo-ed” at Elvis several more times. With a sudden spring, he leaped from Elvis’s hand, latched onto the wall, and scrambled da-da-da at lightning speed back into the hollow the egg cub had carved.
The egg cub immediately rolled into the rabbit cub’s paws.
The rabbit cub hugged the egg cub tightly, his tears still falling pitter-patter, but that didn’t stop him from glaring warily at Elvis.
Elvis spoke softly, “Jiaojiao, Taotao, don’t be afraid. I am your…” Considering the cubs’ devastated reaction to the word “Papa,” he paused and chose a different term. “…Father.”
From the side, Yun Yinghui’s cold “Heh” reached Elvis’s ears.
The two cubs immediately looked at Yun Yinghui.
The egg cub activated his spatial ability, enveloping himself and the rabbit cub. With a precise teleportation, they vanished and reappeared inside the folds of Yun Yinghui’s collar.
The rabbit cub hugged the egg cub and shuffled further down.
From Yun Yinghui’s perspective, he could still see the tips of their heads if he looked down. From Elvis’s perspective, not a single strand of cub fur was visible.
Yun Yinghui met Elvis’s eyes with a skin-deep smile. “Your Highness, my apologies. Your improper behavior led me to mistake you for a burglar breaking into a private residence, which is why I attacked. I’m sure you understand.”
Elvis paused, meeting Yun Yinghui’s gaze. “Of course.” He added, “Brother Yinghui, thank you for taking care of Jiaojiao and Taotao during this time.”
The corners of Yun Yinghui’s lips curved, though his aura grew even more chilling. “Your Highness, there is no need for your thanks. After all, as long as my younger brother refuses to acknowledge you, you have absolutely nothing to do with Jiaojiao and Taotao.”
Elvis kept calling him “Brother Yinghui,” acting exceptionally respectful and polite. He didn’t argue back, playing the part of a perfectly filial junior who knew exactly when to yield.
Yun Yinghui: “Your Highness, speaking of which, you are my junior. I am currently very curious about the overall strength of the students at Fanse Academy. As the Perpetual Valedictorian, would you care to join me for a duel?”
Elvis: “…It would be my pleasure.”
The two little cubs hiding in Yun Yinghui’s clothes were always sensitive to certain words.
Almost the instant they heard the word “duel,” the two heads popped out from Yun Yinghui’s collar. They immediately saw Elvis.
The moment their eyes met Elvis’s, the cubs moved in unison, ducking back into hiding. But not two seconds later, they peeked out again, their eyes full of curiosity as they sized Elvis up.
Back at the studio, everyone was looking at Yun Yingzhi with worry, asking what had happened.
Yun Yingzhi’s eyes were brimming with tears. He struggled to hold them back, saying bravely, “It—it’s nothing…”
His heart ached.
Over the last few days, he and Yun Yinghui had sat down to do the math.
The monthly property management fees for the villa were astronomical. The two cubs were still so small and required medical checkups every few days. Then there were the salaries for the numerous staff members—the monthly expenses were a terrifying sum of money.
And now he had to add house repairs to that list…
The house had been practically demolished by Yun Yinghui and Prince Elvis. How was he going to pay for the repairs?
Yun Yingzhi was so sad he wanted to wail.
He tried to endure it, but eventually, he couldn’t hold back and requested a leave of absence to go home.
As soon as Yun Yingzhi left, the manufacturers in the studio began to gossip.
At first, they guessed that Zhizhi was upset because of Elvis, but they quickly dismissed that. Then why?

When Yun Yingzhi arrived home, the two cubs, who hadn’t seen their father for days, immediately charged at him in a flurry of rolling and pouncing.

He tried to hold it in, but eventually, he gave in and started crying along with the two cubs. He felt the three of them were far too pitiful.
Yun Yingzhi stuffed the two cubs into his collar and turned a murderous gaze toward Elvis.
Elvis’s eyelid gave a frantic jump, and he took a step back.
Yun Yingzhi lit up the inscriptions in his Source Weapon, and twelve massive cannon barrels suddenly materialized in the air.
The two cubs, being extremely sensitive to Source Energy fluctuations, immediately popped their heads out of Zhizhi’s collar. Their eyes sparkled with excitement at the sight of the mid-air artillery.
The rabbit cub’s voice was full of glee: “Da!”
