Chapter 172: I’ve Fallen in Love with You, Little Cotton Candy
When Su Miantang woke up, she was met with a pair of deep, dark green snake pupils mere inches from her face, frightening her so much her body couldn’t help but tremble. “Tenleson?”
“You’re awake.”
“What happened to me just now? It felt like I suddenly fainted…”
As she tried to lift her hand, she immediately noticed something was terribly wrong.
Her body felt as if it were bound by some invisible force. Lying on the massive sofa, she was completely immobilized and unable to move a single muscle.
The surrounding furniture, the decor, the rows of robots holding thermal energy weapons, and this opulent, resplendent palace clearly did not belong to her. Furthermore, the man standing before her was no longer wearing his battle-damaged casual clothes from earlier, but an official military uniform.
He wore a military cap and boots. A pitch-black combat uniform accentuated his sharp, imposing figure. The insignia engraved on his epaulets was the crest of a Federal Battleship Commander, and the metallic belt around his waist glinted radiantly. He looked so incredibly unfamiliar that she almost didn’t recognize him.
“Where is this?”
Tenleson stood up and poured her a glass of water.
“Planet X.”
What?!
As soon as his words fell, Su Miantang caught sight of the conspicuous “X” engraved on his right armband—identical to the symbol on the robots nearby. Her pupils instantly dilated.
Was this place really Planet X?
How did she end up on Planet X?
And how did he come to wear the military uniform of Planet X, bearing the supreme rank of Commander?
The absolute worst-case scenario flashed through her mind—
He had joined the military forces of Planet X, become a Battleship Commander, and kidnapped her!
Subconsciously, she looked toward her wrists and pockets, trying to drive her pheromones to locate the Little Ear action figure and the stash of miniature self-defense weapons Qin Yanzhou had given her.
However, she received absolutely zero response.
“Are you looking for these?”
Tenleson walked over.
The new health monitoring bracelet, the Immortal of the Moon action figure, and a pile of miniature self-defense weapons were scattered across the floor.
No wonder she couldn’t sense them anymore.
It turned out he had stripped them all away.
“Drink some water.”
The man leaned down, bringing the cup right to her lips as if intending to feed her himself.
Instead, Su Miantang lifted her face. Her brows furrowed slightly as she looked at him in total bewilderment.
She had countless questions she wanted to ask him, but in the end, she only asked one.
“Why did you kidnap me?”
Tenleson’s movements paused subtly. He set the water cup down, seemingly unwilling to answer her question.
She asked again, assuming she still wouldn’t receive a reply.
But this time, he abruptly lowered his head. His long, powerful knuckles firmly locked onto her chin, forcing her to tilt her head high and look him dead in the eye—straight into the scorching, roaring flames burning within the depths of his gaze.
“Because I love you!”
“I’ve fallen in love with you, Little Cotton Candy.”
He had never once imagined that he would fall in love with a citizen of the Central Star. The Central Star citizens he had despised for so long—the selfish, despicable, and shameless people. Yet his madness had reached a point where it had compromised his rationality, his judgment, and even the convictions he had held fast to for years.
Even if she was from the Central Star, she absolutely had to be with him!
Su Miantang was somewhat alarmed by the intense, blazing inferno erupting from his eyes.
Earlier in the courtyard, when he claimed he couldn’t read just anyone’s mind and stared at her with such a direct, unabashed gaze, she had sensed a slight inkling of it. But at the time, she merely assumed it was an illusion.
She never expected it to be real.
“But…”
Before she could finish her sentence, her vocal cords were entirely sealed shut by his combat power.
“I do not want to hear a single word of rejection from your mouth, nor do I want to hear you attempt to persuade me or speak on behalf of the Central Star.”
Even if she rejected him, it was completely impossible for him to let her go, and even more impossible for him to spare the Central Star.
He was going to personally annihilate that planet.
He turned on his heel to leave, but hearing the frantic, muffled ‘Mmph, mnm, mnm’ sounds of the young girl struggling behind him, his fists gradually clenched—so tight his knuckles turned a bloodless white and his veins bulged prominently.
“Little Cotton Candy, you must really hate me right now, don’t you? You hate me for bringing you here, and you hate me for targeting your homeland. But you were the one who provoked me first!”
He materialized beside her in a flash. As if his emotions had violently exploded, he pulled her into a crushing embrace, staring fixedly at those gorgeous, crimson lips as if he wanted to devour her alive. Only upon seeing the terrified, flickering light in her eyes did he forcefully suppress his urges.
“I already let you go once, so why did you have to come searching for me in Misty Town?! Do you have any idea just how desperately I want to possess you?”
He wanted her so badly it was driving him insane.
He wanted to tear her into tiny pieces and merge her straight into his own body so they would never be separated again.
“Therefore, you brought all of this upon yourself.”
“From now on, you will obediently stay by my side. Don’t even dream of going anywhere else.”
“You can only be mine!”
His expression was brutal and perverse, seemingly exposing his true, long-hidden nature.
“If you like the Central Star, that’s fine. I will conquer it very soon and gift it to you. Then I’ll kill Jenny and make you Queen.”
Hearing this sent a wave of numbness crawling down Su Miantang’s scalp, and she shook her head.
“You don’t like that?”
The man’s lips curled into a smirk, a trace of a coaxing curve hanging at the corners of his eyes.
“Then what do you like? Once the war is over, I will spend all my time with you. I’ll stay by your side; whatever you want to do, we’ll do, and wherever you want to go, we’ll go.”
The young girl continued to shake her head.
He was just about to speak again, but before he could even utter a word, she began shaking her head once more.
That reaction wasn’t about disliking a thing—it was blatantly clear she disliked him. That naked, unadulterated disgust instantly enraged him.
His deep eyes narrowed, his expression turning highly dangerous as he lowered his head, intent on kissing her.
But when he aimed for her hair, she dodged.
When he aimed for her forehead, she evaded.
When he aimed for her cheeks, her nose, her lips…
Not a single attempt landed.
She used every ounce of her strength to escape, appearing utterly repulsed by his touch. Every single one of her movements pierced his eyes like needles, causing his emotions to grow increasingly manic and out of control. He wanted nothing more than to rip her clothes to shreds and force himself upon her right then and there!
Yet… he couldn’t bear to do it.
He couldn’t bear to watch her cry, couldn’t bear to watch her hate him.
“Why?”
“Why do you hate me?!”
He pinned her fiercely against his chest, the force so immense it felt as if he were trying to embed her straight into his flesh and bone, making the young girl frown in pain.
“Is it just because I’m from Planet X and I want to attack the Central Star?”
In pain, Su Miantang didn’t dare to move a muscle.
Sensing that she had finally stopped struggling, a mocking smile slowly surfaced on Tenleson’s lips.
Heh.
As expected.
The crimson hue slowly faded from his pupils, and his frantic emotions gradually stabilized.
Holding her close, he softly closed his eyes.
His dark eyelashes cast a deep shadow over his face.
“Did Amy tell you about my past?”
The young girl nodded her head.
“Little Cotton Candy, did you know? I am not actually a person from Planet X, nor am I an abandoned orphan. I have a family.”
What?
Su Miantang was slightly taken aback.
He wasn’t from Planet X?
Not an orphan?
A family?
“It’s just that they were entirely slaughtered by the Central Star military.”
The young girl lifted her head.
He rested his forehead lightly against hers, his gaze completely unfathomable. “Do you want to know the reason?”
Mhm.
