【118】”Heard You, Obedient Wife”
Jian Yun happened to pass by at this moment. Seeing Wen Ran stumble, he immediately went over to support him, grabbing Wen Ran’s arm: “Dawn, are you okay?”
“Why is your face so red?”
The honest Jian Yun reached out to touch Wen Ran’s forehead: “It’s quite hot!”
“I know, do you have a fever?”
Wen Ran didn’t know how to explain to Jian Yun. He was terrified that if Jian Yun got any closer, he would discover something. If that happened, he really wouldn’t have the face to see anyone again!
He could only push Jian Yun away: “I’m fine.”
Jian Yun completely failed to understand Wen Ran’s meaning: “Dawn, stop forcing yourself. If you have a fever, you need to see a doctor immediately!”
“Really, the longer you drag it out, the worse it is for your body.”
“You’re only a year or two younger than me; how can young people not cherish their bodies?”
“I…” Wen Ran wanted to make up an excuse to brush him off, but as soon as he straightened up, he almost couldn’t hold back a cry.
Wen Ran suddenly froze. Neither of them spoke, and the air became exceptionally quiet for an instant.
“Dawn, did you hear a sound?”
Wen Ran almost jumped up, feigning calmness: “I didn’t hear anything.”
Jian Yun scratched his head: “That’s not right. I clearly heard a sound. Is someone calling you?”
Wen Ran would die before admitting it now: “You must have heard wrong.”
“Really?” Jian Yun looked down at Wen Ran doubtfully: “Is it really not your phone vibrating?”
Wen Ran wished he could push Jian Yun out of there immediately. Fortunately, Jian Yun was relatively obtuse. If it were anyone else here right now, he probably wouldn’t be able to keep up the act.
“No,” Wen Ran pushed Jian Yun hurriedly: “Jian Yun, I suddenly feel a bit of a headache. Could you go buy some medicine for me, please?”
“I knew it,” Jian Yun immediately patted Wen Ran’s shoulder: “Then you go back and lie down for a while. I’ll come back and deliver the medicine to you later.”
“Do you need me to walk you back to your room?”
Wen Ran quickly shook his head.
When he returned to his room, Wen Ran collapsed onto the floor as if all his strength had been drained, his body limp.
An uncontrollable moan escaped his lips.
Jiang Yan, that damned old rogue!
Wen Ran didn’t want to be tormented anymore, so he gritted his teeth and went to the bathroom.
Just as Wen Ran was greeting Jiang Yan’s ancestors for eighteen generations in his heart, he suddenly heard the sound of the door opening.
F*ck! Who enters without knocking?
Wen Ran’s first reaction was to find something to cover himself to avoid any unnecessary misunderstanding. But before he could make a move, his wrist was grabbed.
Jiang Yan leaned in close to Wen Ran’s ear, his voice low: “Ran Bao isn’t being obedient!”
Wen Ran was already flushed red with shame. He made a fist and hammered Jiang Yan’s chest lightly. But because his waist was still soft and weak, he had no strength, making it look more like he was acting spoiled.
“You still have the nerve to speak?”
Wen Ran glared at Jiang Yan fiercely: “I’ll never believe your ghost talk again!”
“Is that so?”
Jiang Yan lowered his head, rubbing the tip of his nose against Wen Ran’s: “But Ran Bao, aren’t you comfortable?”
“Comfortable your mom!” Wen Ran kicked Jiang Yan’s leg hatefully: “Hurry up and roll…”
Before Wen Ran could say the word “out,” his lips were blocked by Jiang Yan. Jiang Yan cupped Wen Ran’s buttocks and lifted him onto his lap: “Ran Ran, do you know when you are the cutest?”
Wen Ran: “?”
“When you stubbornly curse people,” Jiang Yan gently bit his lip: “But when kissed, you’re incredibly soft.”
“And very sweet.”
Wen Ran was completely disarmed by Jiang Yan’s words. He simply gave up struggling, biting Jiang Yan’s lip angrily while glaring at him.
But soon, he found he couldn’t withstand Jiang Yan’s gaze at all. The scorching gaze was like a flame, making Wen Ran feel as if he were melting inside it.
He closed his eyes cowardly.
The movements on his lips also became gentle. He was actually worried about biting Jiang Yan too hard, so he obediently extended his small tongue to lick Jiang Yan’s lips.
His long eyelashes trembled slightly, like fluttering butterflies.
Awkward yet obediently soft, truly cute to death.
Wen Ran originally thought Jiang Yan would take him to the bed, but the other party didn’t. His slender fingers rested on the back of Wen Ran’s neck.
Wen Ran: “???”
He didn’t even have time to react before overwhelming kisses rained down. Wen Ran wrapped his arms around Jiang Yan’s neck, his back pressed against the cold wooden door. He couldn’t even speak a complete sentence.
“Jiang Yan…” Wen Ran gritted his teeth, the corners of his eyes red. Physiological tears hung on his eyelashes, looking like he had been bullied ruthlessly: “You bastard!”
“Call me what?”
Jiang Yan leaned closer to Wen Ran, reaching out to stroke his hair: “Ran Ran, think clearly before you call.”
“Bastard! Hooligan! Beas…” Wen Ran’s last word abruptly changed tone before it could come out. He looked at the culprit in shame and indignation.
The other party, however, seemed completely unaware, leaning in to kiss his lips: “Be good, call me Husband.”
“You… keep dreaming!” Wen Ran’s voice was intermittent, the tip of his nose red, and a pink flush spread across the tender skin of his neck: “You calling me… calling me Daddy is more like it.”
Suddenly, rapid knocking came from outside the door.
Jian Yun’s voice rang out: “Dawn, are you inside?”
Separated only by a door, Jian Yun’s voice traveled clearly into Wen Ran’s ears. Because his back was against the door, it felt like Jian Yun was standing right behind him.
Wen Ran was forced to look up at Jiang Yan, lowering his voice: “Stay away from me.”
“Oh?”
Jiang Yan hooked his lips, coaxing him: “When begging someone for a favor, what should you call them?”
“You!”
This Lao Liu!
Jian Yun’s knocking continued: “Dawn? Can you hear me?”
He seemed to rattle the doorknob. Wen Ran was frightened and ashamed hearing the noise. Jian Yun was buying medicine for him, yet he was doing this kind of thing with Jiang Yan just behind the door…
Wen Ran was so ashamed he wished he could disappear immediately.
“Strange, not in the room?” Jian Yun muttered to himself, then took out his phone: “I’ll give him a call then.”
Wen Ran’s phone was on silent, but the vibration wasn’t turned off. They heard it clearly from inside the room. Wen Ran was so anxious he was about to cry, but Jiang Yan showed no sign of letting up.
He could only give up on himself, looking at Jiang Yan and calling out softly like a kitten: “Husband.”
Soft and cottony, landing gently on his heart.
Although it was very quiet, it made Jiang Yan’s heart skip a beat.
He hugged Wen Ran tightly, pressing against his ear: “Heard you, obedient wife.”
This “obedient wife,” carried with a low pant, was spoken almost directly against Wen Ran’s ear. It wasn’t that he hadn’t heard Jiang Yan’s voice before, but this kind of sexy and teasing panting made Wen Ran realize for the first time that just hearing the voice of the person he liked could arouse him.
Afraid he would make a sound, Wen Ran bit onto Jiang Yan’s shoulder.
Jiang Yan placed him back on the bed and covered the exhausted Wen Ran with the quilt before opening the door.
“Captain?”
Jian Yun was a bit confused: “Why are you here?”
“Where’s Dawn?”
“He’s already asleep,” Jiang Yan stood at the door, only opening it a crack: “I was helping him pack up just now, didn’t hear the phone ring.”
“Oh, oh!” Jian Yun suddenly remembered that the two were a couple, so it was only right for the Captain to take care of Dawn.
“This is the medicine I bought for him,” Jian Yun handed the items to Jiang Yan: “Captain, if Dawn still needs it, just follow the instructions and give it to him.”
“Thanks,” Jiang Yan certainly knew what Jian Yun liked: “Little Flower hasn’t been fed today. I want to stay and take care of Ran Ran, so could you…”
“I’m free!” As soon as Jian Yun heard he could interact with the cat, he was so excited he almost jumped up: “Then Captain, I’ll go feed Little Flower first. Little Flower is still young; kittens can’t stand being hungry.”
After sending Jian Yun away, Jiang Yan returned to the room and patted the person curled up in the quilt: “Ran Ran, come out and take a shower.”
It was really urgent just now, but now that there was time, Jiang Yan lifted the quilt, carried Wen Ran into the bathroom, and helped him clean up.
When they came out, he changed the sheets and duvet cover before placing Wen Ran back on the bed.
He stroked his head: “Sleep for a while.”
Wen Ran had consumed too much energy and fell into a deep sleep before long.
Jiang Yan looked at his sleeping face, the corners of his lips slowly hooking up.
He really wanted to see such a Ran Ran every day.
Jian Yun hadn’t expected that just by feeding a cat, he would be dragged by Dawn and the Captain into a trio queue to boost his performance points. The “car” was stable, and not only did the Captain keep letting him take the Red Buff, but Dawn, that toxic tumor, was actually willing to give up the mid lane for him to farm. It was the first time he experienced the feeling of being a “Daddy.”
After taking the Red Buff, Jian Yun couldn’t help but exclaim: “You two are too good to me, right?”
Wen Ran didn’t dare look him in the eye. Compared to what Jian Yun had experienced, a few Buffs and minion waves were simply insignificant.
Wen Ran could only brace himself and say: “It’s only right.”
“How can it be only right!” Jian Yun was moved to tears: “Dawn, you and the Captain are too loyal. I just bought you medicine and fed a cat, yet you treat me so well.”
“You two must have a happy union, a hundred years of harmony, and early birth of a precious son!”
Wen Ran: “……”
