After Transmigrating into a Book, the Trash Substitute Tamed the Cultivation World Chapter 134

Chapter 134: There is Always Someone Better

Feng Shi patted his clothes to brush off the dust and landed gracefully.

Before him, the low hill, along with the adjacent high mountain, had a conspicuous crater blasted into its side.

“I knew there was a spirit stone mine here. We’re rich this time!”

He used the system to scan it and found that this spirit stone mine was truly substantial; the spirit stones inside were enough to cover the expenses of the entire Chongshan Sect for over a hundred years.

He had to take it all!

Ignoring the slack-jawed expressions of those behind him, Feng Shi rubbed his hands together and let out an excited laugh.

He stepped forward and pried one out casually—it was a large chunk of high-quality spirit stone.

Feng Shi wasn’t picky at all. He used his clothes to wipe off the loose soil, then tossed it into Shen Songhe’s arms without looking back as he busied himself with prying out the next piece.

Qingqing floated beside him with its arms crossed, finding it a bit hard to watch.

[I say, Host Lord, you aren’t short of money. Is there really a need to be this happy?]

Feng Shi chuckled. “What does an artificial idiot like you know? What kind of sucker would complain about having too much money?”

“Besides, I have to consider the future of the Chongshan Sect.” He whispered this last part softly, so no one else heard it.

Behind him, Shen Songhe stood dazed, holding the spirit stone in his hands. He watched the “unpretentious” figure busily picking up spirit stones with a Qiankun bag, momentarily unable to snap out of it.

He believed in his Shixiong’s decisions unconditionally, but he hadn’t known that his Shixiong was actually this powerful… a casual point of his finger led to a mountain of gold.

Ruan Ping and the others were even more shocked by the scene, their minds going blank. They were busy picking up their jaws from the ground until Feng Shi shouted at them, suddenly waking them up.

Someone murmured in disbelief, “So… that ‘good luck’ part really wasn’t just talk…”

“My god, Shixiong Liu, you are my god!”

Ruan Ping was the first to react. With a scream, he opened his Qiankun bag and transformed into an even more frenzied excavator than Feng Shi.

Everyone was digging with bloodshot eyes, but they didn’t notice that Elder Lin had already arrived with his team.

As he drew near.

Seeing the spirit stone mine that the Taichu Sect had sought for years but never found, Elder Lin was so angry on the spot that smoke practically came out of his ears. His hands trembled for a long while before he roared, “You… all of you, stop! Stop right now!”

The Chongshan Sect group turned their heads in unison, their faces filled with dissatisfaction at being interrupted.

Seeing that the man had finally arrived, Feng Shi smiled, revealing his pearly white teeth. He flashed in front of the other party. “Oh, isn’t this Elder Lin? What wind blew you here?”

Elder Lin’s eyes were wide as saucers. Without a word, he attacked directly. “Liu Yi! You actually dare to steal what belongs to me! You’re looking for death!”

Feng Shi dodged the attack with ease, his smile turning even more radiant.

The angrier the opponent got, the happier he became.

“Elder Lin, you’ve got it all wrong. We found this spirit stone mine ourselves. How did it become yours?”

“Bullshit! My Taichu Sect clearly discovered this first!” Elder Lin was being completely unreasonable and stubborn.

As he spoke, he abandoned his sword and switched to talismans.

Talismans were great. Feng Shi’s interest was piqued. He joined in, forgoing his sword as well, and pulled a stack of prepared yellow paper from his robes and took the cinnabar brush from his waist.

Seeing his posture, a look of contemptuous laughter suddenly appeared on Elder Lin’s face. He taunted, “Kid, if you’re going to put on a show, at least make it look real! I’ve been cultivating for decades, and I’ve never seen anyone draw a talisman on the spot!”

Feng Shi raised an eyebrow. “Oh? Well, you’re seeing it today.”

With that, he flicked his fingers, and three pieces of talisman paper suspended themselves before him.

Seeing this, Elder Lin felt an inexplicable unease. His eyes narrowed, and the talisman in his hand ignited instantly, transforming into a massive sword that reached for the heavens in the blink of an eye.

This long sword was formed from spiritual energy, carrying an intimidating power. “Kid Liu! Die!”

Feng Shi showed no fear; his expression remained calm as ever.

He lifted his brush, and the wind and clouds began to stir.

The surrounding spiritual energy suddenly converged toward him, forming a massive vortex that finally condensed at the tip of his brush.

As he set the brush to paper, a powerful wind gusted from around Feng Shi, whipping his skirts and dark hair, illuminating his clean, fair face.

His eyes were bright and full of a smile, but his expression grew increasingly arrogant. His voice was clear. “Elder Lin, today I, Liu Yi, will teach you that there is always someone better!”

He finished with a flourish, and the three talismans suspended before him suddenly exploded with brilliant golden light.

They were actually completed.

Feng Shi swept his hand out, and all three talismans landed between his fingers.

Elder Lin’s face filled with horror, his eyes nearly splitting. As he swung the massive sword down, he screamed, “Impossible!”

Feng Shi gave a light smile, and one of the talismans ignited in his hand, transforming into an even longer and larger sword shadow to meet the attack.

The two spiritual swords collided, triggering a powerful shockwave.

However, Elder Lin’s sword was utterly fragile; it didn’t even last for a breath before it shattered. He himself was injured by the sword qi Feng Shi sent over.

Seeing him retreat in defeat, Feng Shi followed up by throwing out another talisman.

As the talisman burned out, an invisible chain immediately descended from the sky, binding Elder Lin’s feet and hanging him upside down in mid-air.

The old man’s face was covered in the blood he had spat out; he looked completely wretched.

Feng Shi approached on his sword and then squatted down on the blade, tilting his head to look at the man before him. He patted the side of the man’s face. “Well, Elder Lin? Do you yield, or not?”

Elder Lin spat and said viciously, “Kid! Don’t celebrate too early!”

He was an Elder, after all; his strength wasn’t too poor. He broke free from the restraints in a few moves.

Feng Shi used a flash to dodge far away.

Elder Lin was livid, his aura surging. It seemed he was about to use a powerful move.

Feng Shi wasn’t afraid, but before Elder Lin could strike again, Quan Xinghai, who had arrived early to watch the show, stepped in to stop him.

“Elder Lin, I assume you know the rules. Killing each other within the secret realm is forbidden. Stop.”

Elder Lin opened his mouth to curse, but seeing Quan Xinghai’s eyes suddenly turn sharp, he couldn’t help but feel a flicker of fear.

A moment later, he flicked his sleeve unwillingly and lowered his hand.

Feng Shi took in every move between the two. When he looked at Quan Xinghai again, there was a hint of interest in his eyes.
