Cold and Ruthless? That’s Nothing Compared to His Wife’s Broken Waist chapter 5

Chapter 5: The Small-Time Star and His Short-Tempered Sugar Daddy (Part V)

Fang Yinnian’s office was huge. Not only did it have a lounge, but one could also shower there.

Unlike last time, this time Xiao Ji, through his studies, understood the principle that one cannot simply pat one’s butt and leave after the deed is done.

He and Fang Yinnian lay face to face on the bed, staring at each other.

Fang Yinnian looked at him for a long time. Seeing no further movement, he almost laughed in anger again. “Kiss if you want to kiss. Why are you staring at me? You weren’t this reserved just now.”

Receiving the signal, Xiao Ji finally raised his hand to gently press the back of Fang Yinnian’s neck and began to kiss him.

There are many things in this world that require talent.

Xiao Ji was the type who could master this kind of behavior without a teacher.

As long as Fang Yinnian didn’t call stop, he could dawdle and please him indefinitely.

It wasn’t until Fang Yinnian’s brain began to lack oxygen and he actively pushed Xiao Ji away—telling him that was enough and to stop being endless—that Xiao Ji released him, giving him a chance to gasp for air.

Fang Yinnian felt sticky and uncomfortable, so he kicked Xiao Ji with his leg. “I want to shower.”

The bed in the lounge was pushed against the wall on the inner side. Hearing this, Xiao Ji actively got up to make room, saying to Fang Yinnian, “You go first then.”

Last time, Xiao Ji had walked out, leaving Fang Yinnian to endure the discomfort alone. While showering, he had secretly cursed Xiao Ji with a torrent of abuse.

Now that they were at it again, he decided to deliberately torment Xiao Ji. “My waist hurts. I don’t want to move.”

Xiao Ji understood. He scooped the man up in a princess carry and walked toward the bathroom.

The warm water washed away the discomfort on Fang Yinnian’s body. There was no bathtub in the office bathroom, so he stood lazily in place, one hand propped against the wall for support.

Expressionless, Xiao Ji acted like a paid bathhouse attendant, using a pink-and-blue loofah to clean Fang Yinnian thoroughly from top to bottom, inside and out.

During the process, Fang Yinnian maliciously took the showerhead and sprayed water directly into Xiao Ji’s face.

But Xiao Ji didn’t seem angry. He simply took the showerhead from Fang Yinnian’s hand to rinse the foam off his body and patted his gluteus maximus, telling him to behave.

Fang Yinnian didn’t know that his behavior just now reminded Xiao Ji of those puppies he had seen that would shake their fur wildly during a bath, splashing their owners in the face.

Half an hour later.

Both of them were dressed and groomed, looking human and respectable as they sat opposite each other at Fang Yinnian’s desk. Standing in the corner was Secretary Xiao Lin, who had come in to deliver food and accidentally seen the scratches all over Xiao Ji’s back.

“I’ll arrange other work for you. TV dramas, movies—whatever. Forget about that stupid dating variety show.”

Fang Yinnian leaned back in his boss chair, his face gloomy.

Having just gotten out of his bed, Xiao Ji dared to mention going on a dating show. He simply didn’t treat him like a person.

Xiao Ji spoke directly: “With my current situation, no one will watch whatever I film.”

Fang Yinnian was domineering: “Then I’ll hire people to watch. I’ll force their heads down to watch.”

“I’m not going there to fall in love with anyone else. I need this opportunity to make that old batch of CP fans unfollow me, build a new fan base, and refresh the audience’s perception of me.”

Xiao Ji good-naturedly offered Fang Yinnian seemingly reasonable excuses.

In fact, the show didn’t matter to Xiao Ji, but he needed a catalyst to get close to Cheng Nuo.

“You are refreshing my perception,” Fang Yinnian was displeased. “I think you’ve lived long enough. You climbed into my bed not for resources, but to seek death.”

Xiao Ji stared stubbornly at Fang Yinnian for a moment. Then, suddenly, as if all his strength had drained away, he lowered his eyes and said dejectedly:

“Brother Nian, I don’t have other thoughts. I’m just in a bad spot and want to turn things around. I’m not that inhuman—eating from the bowl while staring at the pot is something I can’t do.”

“I understand your attitude toward me. You don’t like me; you just treat me as your private property for the time being. I know my place. The day someone younger, more handsome, and more to your liking appears, I’ll just become a passerby in your life.”

“So, before that happens, can you show a little mercy? Consider it from my perspective. Don’t let me fall back into this dead-end situation after you leave.”

037, who was happily watching the drama unfold from the side, was instantly shocked.

Xiao Ji had merely listened to a radio broadcast on his drive to the company this morning. The gist was that when meeting an overly aggressive person, meeting hardness with hardness only leads to mutual destruction; showing appropriate weakness might yield unexpected results.

It had gone in one of 037’s ears and out the other—it didn’t take it seriously at all.

But Xiao Ji had instantly mastered it, inferred other things from it, and used it on Fang Yinnian without skipping a beat.

It tutted, thinking to itself: [Truly f*cking awesome.]

Xiao Ji ignored 037. After saying these words, he looked back into Fang Yinnian’s eyes.

Sure enough, Fang Yinnian fell silent. After a long while, he waved his hand and said to Xiao Ji:

“Get out.”

Xiao Ji stood up and turned to leave.

Fang Yinnian called him back again. “You’re rolling too fast.”

Xiao Ji stopped, glanced at the trembling Xiao Lin in the corner, walked to Fang Yinnian’s side, lowered his head to give him a kiss, and then left again.

Although Xiao Lin had long known Fang Yinnian’s orientation, seeing two grown men kiss with his own eyes was a first in his life.

His face twisted. His mind was filled with the messy scratch marks on Xiao Ji’s broad back from earlier. Even more messy and indescribable scenes spread through his mind like maggots in bones—he couldn’t shake them off.

However, catching Fang Yinnian’s gaze out of the corner of his eye, he instantly retracted his ferocious expression, pretending calmly that he hadn’t seen anything.

Fang Yinnian looked at Xiao Lin. “What are you dazing out for? Don’t you know what to do?”

Xiao Lin had been a CEO’s secretary for so many years; what scenes hadn’t he witnessed?

Given how the conversation between Xiao Ji and Fang Yinnian had gone just now, and based on Xiao Lin’s understanding of Fang Yinnian, the boss had agreed.

So, the next step was to contact people to get Xiao Ji into the program group.

But given Xiao Ji’s current situation, the program team would likely open their mouths wide like lions and demand a hefty investment from Fang Yinnian.

So, Xiao Lin said with certainty, “I’ll convene a meeting.”

Hearing this, Fang Yinnian grabbed the tissue box on the table and threw it at Xiao Lin:

“I’m keeping a sugar baby, and you want to convene a meeting? Is this something glorious? I think you don’t want this job anymore.”

Xiao Lin jumped in fright, daring not to talk back. He hurriedly opened his laptop and began drafting a labor contract on the spot—one that was “keeping a mistress” in substance but “work” in appearance.

Over here, Fang Yinnian looked at the contract Xiao Lin drafted. While saying Xiao Ji wasn’t worthy, he surreptitiously extended a finger and quietly added another zero to the end of Xiao Ji’s salary figure.

Meanwhile, just as Xiao Ji stepped out of the company gate, he ran into Cheng Nuo, who was sitting in a car specifically waiting to invite him over for a chat.
