EO Romance: The Supreme Leader Is About to Enter the Crematorium Chapter 116

Chapter 116: The Wedding

The wedding didn’t start until the afternoon, but the morning was quite busy. Ye Zhile only managed a few hours of sleep before being woken up promptly at seven by Xingtu. After he finished washing up, the makeup artists and stylists came in to get him ready.

His father, papa, and two older brothers were all gathered in the room. Seeing that Ye Zhile wasn’t grumpy about waking up early but was instead very happy and excited, they couldn’t help but feel happy for him.

Lu Xingyan and Han Haocheng arrived as well, watching as Ye Zhile was being prepared.

“Our Lele is so beautiful.” Wen Yumuo placed his hands on Ye Zhile’s shoulders, looking at the light makeup on the boy’s face in the mirror. He looked exquisite and noble, like a vivid porcelain doll that one couldn’t look away from.

“He takes after you, obviously,” Ye Junting remarked from the side. Ye Zhile smiled and said, “It’s because Papa and Father are so good-looking that I turned out this way.”

“Oh, look at you, being so self-aware,” Ye Zhichen teased. Ye Zhile gave a haughty, playful “Hmph.”

“The two of you certainly have silver tongues,” Wen Yumuo laughed. “Playing off each other like that.”

“Haha…”

Just then, Ye Zhijin and Xiao Yuanqing entered. Ye Zhijin was carrying Dudu and held him up to see Ye Zhile. “Look at how beautiful Papa is today.”

“Mama!” Dudu chirped happily.

“Who taught him that? He knows how to call for ‘Mama’?” Ye Zhichen went over to tease Dudu. “Call me Second Uncle.”

“Who else could it be but the Leader?” Leng Xingtu said, grabbing Dudu’s little hand.

The room was filled with lively chatter. Not long after, someone announced that the Leader’s wedding car had arrived. There was no rowdy “wedding hazing”; they simply followed the traditional rituals for the sake of ceremony. Ji Shuohan’s groomsmen, Ming Xi and Pei Ziyu, spotted Xiao Yuanqing and Ming Xi immediately teased, “Yuanqing, you’ve defected! You’re no longer part of our four-man squad.”

Xiao Yuanqing smiled. “Not at all. I’m supporting you in spirit.”

“As for the wedding, there must be a process. We can’t let the Leader take our precious little brother away too easily,” Ye Zhichen stated.

Ji Shuohan smiled. “Everything will be as Major Ye says.”

Ye Zhile sat on the bed, smiling with pure joy.

“Then I’ll just ask the Leader a question,” Ye Zhichen said. “On the day of Lele’s eighth birthday banquet, did he wear a bowtie? And what color was it?”

“Oooooh~” Everyone started hooting as soon as the question was asked. Ye Zhile got anxious. “Second Brother! That was so long ago! Even I can’t remember! How could he possibly remember?”

However, Ji Shuohan only thought for a brief moment before answering calmly, “The small suit was paired with a bowtie. It was black.”

“Whoa~ Brother Shuohan remembers so clearly?” Ming Xi teased.

In truth, it was because of what Ye Zhile had said to him when his life was hanging by a thread that he remembered. That little fellow who had shyly peeked at him before hiding in his father’s arms had now grown into a beautiful, well-behaved young man.

“Correct,” Ye Zhichen said, turning to give Ye Zhile a wink. Ye Zhile breathed a sigh of relief.

The wedding motorcade drove grandly toward the cruise ship. The car Ye Zhile and Ji Shuohan sat in was a convertible. As they drove along the road facing the sea breeze, Ye Zhile opened his arms to embrace the wind.

Ji Shuohan took hold of his hand.

Upon arriving at the wedding venue, the entrance to the cruise ship was packed with people. Everyone was looking forward to the arrival of the newlyweds. Ji Shuohan held Ye Zhile’s hand as they stepped out of the car, walking through the cheers and crowds. Staff members on both sides set off confetti cannons, which exploded over their heads with a “Bang!”

Amidst the cheers, Ji Shuohan led Ye Zhile forward. Ye Zhile was beaming, turning to look at Ji Shuohan, who was also looking back at him.

The wedding hall was beautifully decorated—warm, sweet, and very similar in style to the venue where Ji Shuohan had proposed. The overall style was “light luxury,” with crystal chains hanging from the ceiling like a shimmering water curtain. The area was adorned with a mix of pink and blue rose decorations, looking incredibly romantic.

The wedding was only for close friends and family. The media outlets that had rushed over could only take photos from the shore, so the venue wasn’t crowded. Everyone stood on either side as Ye Zhile entered, arm-in-arm with Ji Shuohan.

Flower children scattered petals in front of them. Dudu grabbed a petal in his hand and bounced excitedly in Ye Zhijin’s arms as he watched his Papa and Father slowly walk up to the stage.

“Our Dudu is happy for Papa too, right?” Ye Zhijin held his tiny hand.

“&&#…” Dudu babbled something that no one could understand, but his serious little expression made everyone laugh.

There was no master of ceremonies for this wedding because they didn’t want to go through the typical emotional scripts. Once they reached the stage, the two began exchanging rings.

Ye Zhile placed the ring on Ji Shuohan’s finger and looked up with a smile in his eyes. Ji Shuohan leaned down and kissed him.

The crowd cheered. Witnessed by their family and friends, the newlyweds became the people who would protect each other for the rest of their lives.

Next was the bouquet toss. Ye Zhile looked at the group of people gathered below, ready to catch it. He laughed, turned around, and threw it.

“Don’t fight me for it; I’m the oldest, I go first.” Ye Zhijin was the tallest and stood out in the crowd. His words made everyone chuckle. As Ye Zhile threw the bouquet, he used his long limbs to jump higher than anyone else.

The moment Ye Zhijin caught the bouquet, everyone’s eyes turned toward Xiao Yuanqing. “Oooooh~”

Xiao Yuanqing’s ears turned red involuntarily. Ye Zhijin presented the bouquet to him. “May the two of us be happily united in marriage soon.”

“Okay,” Xiao Yuanqing accepted.

While the people below were hooting, Ye Zhile and Ji Shuohan watched the happy chaos from the stage. They caught each other’s eyes and both burst into laughter.

At a young person’s wedding, the goal was to have as much fun as possible. Ming Xi went up on stage to sing, and everyone below began dancing around Ye Zhile and Ji Shuohan. An atmosphere of freedom and romance filled the air.

“Baby, you look so beautiful today,” Ji Shuohan whispered into Ye Zhile’s ear as they danced. Ye Zhile looked up from his arms. “The Leader is also very handsome today.”

Both were wearing black suits, meticulously hand-tailored down to every stitch, radiating luxury and nobility.

Ji Shuohan inevitably had to deal with guests trying to toast him. Ye Zhile couldn’t stop them, so he could only watch over him, occasionally drinking a glass or two on his behalf.

“Aiyoh, Little Sister-in-law, are you that worried?” Ming Xi teased. “Don’t worry, Brother Shuohan has a great tolerance for alcohol. He can drink a thousand cups without falling.”

Ye Zhile had had a few drinks, and his face was a bit flushed. His head was even feeling a bit dizzy. Hearing Ming Xi’s words, he just giggled foolishly.

Seeing this, Ji Shuohan pulled him into his arms and snapped at Ming Xi, “Are you going to drink or not? If not, get lost. Next person.”

“Yo yo yo~ look at you two showing off,” Ming Xi said dismissively. “Just bullying us single dogs, aren’t you?”

“Only you and Pei Ziyu are the single dogs,” Ji Shuohan said bluntly.

Ming Xi gritted his teeth and grabbed Pei Ziyu. “Pour him drinks ruthlessly! Make it so he can’t even walk! Don’t let him even think about carrying the Little Sister-in-law back!”

Although Ye Zhile’s head was spinning, he could still hear what they were saying. Hearing Ming Xi’s words, he leaned into Ji Shuohan’s chest with a red face.
