How Did the Promised Yandere Villain Become a Clingy, Obedient Dog? Chapter 102

Chapter 102: Behaving Now?

After Wen Ling and Cheng Ge finished being clingy in the quiet pavilion, they took advantage of a thick layer of clouds covering the sun to quickly walk out of the pavilion and out of the park.

Of course, the sun came out again very quickly, and they had to use an umbrella midway.

Games like this were actually very childish, but at this moment, neither of them felt that way.

Cheng Ge took Wen Ling to a restaurant near the school for a bowl of boiled wontons. After the meal, they strolled back to school along a shaded path.

By the time they returned to the dorm, the sun was just setting, and the air was still a bit stifled.

Wen Ling had been walking for half a day, exceeding his usual amount of exercise. As soon as he touched the sofa, he began to feel sleepy. Before long, he fell asleep huddled on the sofa with his tablet in his arms.

Cheng Ge came out of the bathroom, preparing to hang up the pillowcases he’d just finished washing. The first thing he saw was Wen Ling sleeping peacefully in the corner of the sofa like a little cat, looking particularly well-behaved.

Such a scene was magical, making Cheng Ge’s heart feel warm and fuzzy, filled to the brim with a warm current. This sense of warmth was unfamiliar yet came on strongly.

He suddenly thought of the “forever” that Wen Ling always talked about. He hadn’t quite understood before why Wen Ling was so obsessed with forever, but at this moment, he also wanted that kind of forever.

Cheng Ge walked over with light steps and placed the basin by the sofa. He carefully took the tablet from Wen Ling and put it on the table. Then, he took a thin blanket and covered Wen Ling with it. Once he was sure everything was fine, he took the basin toward the balcony.

After taking a couple of steps, he turned back, leaned down, and placed a kiss on Wen Ling’s forehead.

The sunlight was golden, shining in at an angle. The whole room was filled with warm colors, quiet and beautiful. A stolen kiss at sunset—that could probably be counted as one of the most moving sights in the world.

Wen Ling woke up to the aroma of sweet and sour fish. When he woke, Cheng Ge was stir-frying vegetables. Wen Ling walked over quietly and hugged Cheng Ge from behind.

“Hands,” Cheng Ge leaned back slightly, away from the pot. “You’ll get scalded in a moment.”

“My hands are against your stomach. They won’t get scalded.”

Cheng Ge laughed at his “eloquence.” He tossed the vegetables a few times and asked if he was awake.

Wen Ling rubbed his face against Cheng Ge’s back. “I’m awake.”

The rubbing made Cheng Ge itchy, and he shooed him away. “Since you’re awake, go and get the rice. It’s almost done.”

“Oh.”

Cheng Ge almost never made Wen Ling do anything. In the past, he would even have the rice served before calling him to eat. Recently, however, he had started asking Wen Ling for small favors.

Actually, Wen Ling liked it when Cheng Ge made him do things. It gave him the sense of “couples being of one mind” that Jiji had mentioned.

After eating, Cheng Ge washed the dishes, and the two of them blew some air on the balcony, listening to the birds.

Once they had rested enough, Cheng Ge began playing games again. Wen Ling habitually leaned on his shoulder to watch for a while before picking up his own tablet to draw.

Cheng Ge showered first tonight. After showering, he took some soft silicone and put protective covers on the corners of the bed. He checked them by bumping them with his knee. Feeling there were no problems, he put away the tools and got onto the bed to continue playing games.

Wen Ling came out just as he finished a round, carrying a lingering dampness. His hair was dripping wet, and his face was flushed pink from the steam.

Tonight, Wen Ling was wearing the set of clothes he’d asked Cheng Ge for last time. When they moved here, Wen Ling had stripped the clothes off the big bear, which had been left in the old dorm.

“Come here,” Cheng Ge beckoned to Wen Ling, going to get the hairdryer. “I’ll dry your hair.”

Wen Ling was well-acquainted with the process. He sat on the chair and let the other help him. He still had many small movements; his calves would constantly swing, and his feet would occasionally touch Cheng Ge’s ankles, whether intentionally or not.

Cheng Ge was used to these small movements, so they weren’t much. But Wen Ling was wearing his clothes today. Wearing his clothes was also nothing, as Wen Ling often wore his pants by mistake in the past. But today, Wen Ling was wearing shorts.

Wen Ling usually wore long pants. Those legs were even fairer than his face. Now, they were constantly pressing against Cheng Ge’s calves, and his knees would bump Cheng Ge’s knees firmly every now and then.

Cheng Ge coughed, his voice husky. “Don’t move your legs around.”

“Hmph.” Wen Ling was a bit of a rebel at times, especially in matters where he knew Cheng Ge would absolutely indulge him.

Just like now, Wen Ling’s movements had progressed to hooking his legs around Cheng Ge’s calves.

Cheng Ge was so provoked by his actions that he had no choice. He quickly finished drying his hair, tossed the hairdryer onto the table, and swiftly picked him up to place him on the bed.

With a toss of the blanket and a roll, Wen Ling was wrapped into a cocoon before he could react, looking like a long zongzi.

“Are you behaving now?” Cheng Ge’s voice was low and deep, sounding exceptionally pleasant to Wen Ling.

Wen Ling was, of course, not behaving at all. He even found it interesting. He reached out with the one hand that hadn’t been wrapped up and grabbed Cheng Ge’s arm, smiling at him.

Wen Ling was cold when he didn’t smile, possessing a sense of distance. When he did smile, he was both approachable and alluring, looking incredibly beautiful.

Beauty… the night was distracting. Cheng Ge’s Adam’s apple rolled, and he turned his face away. “You’re being a bit against the rules, aren’t you?”

Wen Ling didn’t understand what Cheng Ge meant by “against the rules.” He only knew that Cheng Ge looked too good from this perspective, and he really wanted to kiss him.

“Cheng Ge, come a bit closer.” Wen Ling pulled Cheng Ge down, bringing the distance between them closer. “A bit closer.”

Cheng Ge leaned over as requested, and was then caught off guard as Wen Ling kissed him.

Wen Ling started laughing again after the kiss, his gaze falling on Cheng Ge’s deep red ears.

Cheng Ge laughed with him. “You really are being against the rules, aren’t you?”

“How am I against the rules?” Wen Ling continued to misbehave while feeling confused. “You kiss me too.”

Cheng Ge pressed his palm against Wen Ling, preventing him from moving. “No.”

“Cheng Ge, you weren’t like this this morning.” Wen Ling’s eyes were watery, and he dragged out his words. If Jiji were here, he would surely have given him a thumbs-up.

“I’ve kissed you, so you have to kiss me too.”

Cheng Ge’s heart was itchy. He arched his back and pecked Wen Ling’s face twice. The two of them were very close, and Cheng Ge’s voice was low. “Comrade Xiao Wen is quite the talker. Even a kiss has to be paid back, huh?”

Wen Ling was agitated just from hearing Cheng Ge speak, let alone when Cheng Ge praised him. He became even happier, tilting his head up and hooking his arm around Cheng Ge’s neck to kiss him.

He kissed without any rhyme or reason. Coupled with the fact that one arm and his body were bound by the blanket, his movements couldn’t be fully executed. He was so anxious it was painful, and he kept grabbing at the other to kiss him, letting out sounds like soft whimpers.

Cheng Ge was startled. He pulled back to check on him. He wasn’t crying, but he had a look that would make anyone feel pity.

Cheng Ge suppressed the restlessness in his gut, kissed Wen Ling’s eyelid, and stroked the corner of his eye. “Don’t make it look like I’m bullying you.”

“You are bullying me. You won’t let me kiss you, and you won’t kiss me…” Before he could finish, Cheng Ge’s kiss descended, proving that Wen Ling’s words were pure slander.

Once some things have started, they cannot be stopped—especially when Wen Ling had been thinking about it for a long time, and Cheng Ge had been teased to the point of losing his bearings.

Wen Ling’s eyes were red, and he looked a bit aggrieved. “Can we?”

The heart cannot lie.

But Cheng Ge was feeling embarrassed now, so he asked a redundant question: “Do you want to?”

“I do.” Wen Ling would never say no to such a thing.

“If you want to, we can,” Cheng Ge said.
