Mr. Shen’s Sick Obsession Chapter 57

Chapter 57: The Racing Invitation

Seeing Shen Xingyu really leave the unconscious Su Nian behind without a second thought, Qin Lou was deeply shocked.

Normally, if this little lover even got a scratch, the man would be extremely nervous. Now, he didn’t even give him a second glance?

Qin Lou didn’t quite understand.

What on earth had happened over the past two days to make Shen Xingyu’s personality change so drastically? To the point where his eyes were only on Liang Sheng.

He slowly turned around, his gaze somewhat disgusted as he looked at the unconscious Su Nian on the bed. He didn’t even bother to cover him with a blanket.

But this was for the best. A third party was just a third party—something that couldn’t see the light of day. Shen Xingyu’s pampering was likely just a passing whim, and now that he was tired of it, he discarded it at will.

Qin Lou snorted coldly and nonchalantly put on his black gloves. Then he flipped Su Nian over and re-inserted the IV needle that had been pulled out during the struggle.

Outside the hallway of the blood collection room, Jiang Chuzhou walked with his hands in his pockets, acting like he owned the place, his eyes glancing around.

That damn old man insisted on bringing him here for a check-up. His health was perfectly fine! He was strong and fit! That Jiang Tianyang was the one who should get checked. If some incurable disease was found, he could naturally inherit the Jiang family’s billions sooner.

Jiang Chuzhou couldn’t help but chuckle at the thought, his mood improving. As he passed the door of the blood collection room, he habitually glanced inside. Just as he was about to look away, he saw something that made him stop in his tracks. He peeked through the doorway suspiciously.

It was one thing to look, but another to be shocked.

Wasn’t that back view Qin Lou?!

And the one on the bed… looked like Su Nian?

What was Qin Lou doing by Su Nian’s bed?

He was even wearing gloves. What was he doing to that little secretary?

Could it be something scandalous?!

Good for you, Qin Lou! On the surface, you act all abstinent and cold, but in private, you’re touching Su Nian!

I finally caught you!

Jiang Chuzhou grit his teeth. Su Nian was seductive and androgynous; no wonder Qin Lou couldn’t control himself!

The more he thought about it, the angrier he got. Although he didn’t know why he was angry, he simply couldn’t stand Qin Lou being cold to him while being “gentle” to someone else!

He was going to go in and expose Qin Lou’s true face right now!

Jiang Chuzhou stormed inside, jumping behind the man with his hands on his hips and pointing a finger as he shouted:

“Aha! So much for being the abstinent type! You fake! Doing that kind of thing right in the hospital! And even if you want to do it, you’re Brother Yu’s bodyguard, yet you’re eyeing his man! You’re finished!”

Qin Lou was startled. He had felt a bit flustered as soon as he heard Jiang Chuzhou’s shouting. Why was this guy everywhere?

He slowly turned around. Seeing the young man’s flushed face and wide eyes, he frowned and said coldly:

“Why are you here?”

“Never mind why I’m here! Why are you in the collection room? And—and you were touching Su Nian! Aren’t you disgusted!”

Jiang Chuzhou was fuming. “Hypocrite! I thought you were upright before! I didn’t expect you to be so good at acting! I, Jiang, was truly blind!”

Qin Lou was angered into a laugh by the nonsensical accusation. “Which eye saw me touching him?”

“Both of my eyes saw it, okay? Stop making excuses! You could have picked anyone, but you picked this third party!”

Jiang Chuzhou pointed two fingers at his own eyes, acting as if he had really seen something.

Qin Lou was speechless and didn’t want to deal with him. He moved to leave, but the other party reached out to block him. “Where are you going? Did I hit a nerve? Leaving so quickly, are you afraid I’ll tell Brother Yu your secret?”

“Have you said enough?”

Qin Lou’s face was dark as he slapped the hand away. He couldn’t win an argument against Jiang Chuzhou and didn’t want to explain. After all, explaining an baseless matter would only deepen the misunderstanding.

His refusal to explain made Jiang Chuzhou think he was even more guilty. “No, really, what do you see in Su Nian? Is he pretty? Good at seducing? I have plenty of types like that; you could have just told me. Why sneak around with this low-class guy?”

Being described so crudely made Qin Lou’s face turn green. He grit his teeth. He wasn’t a talker, and after a long silence, he only managed to squeeze out the words “unreasonable,” then turned and left in a huff.

Jiang Chuzhou knew he was angry. He was a person who knew when to push and when to pull, and he wasn’t truly malicious. He immediately changed to a grinning face and chased after him.

“Alright, alright. I’m a man too, I get it, I get it. Who doesn’t have a few special little hobbies? Don’t be mad!”

The more he spoke, the more ridiculous it became. Qin Lou’s fists tightened. If it weren’t for the fact that this guy was the Young Master of the Jiang family, he would have probably died many times over.

“Oh, don’t keep such a dark face! Here, this is for you.”

As he spoke, Jiang Chuzhou pulled an invitation from his jacket and held it in front of the man, winking mysteriously.

Qin Lou wasn’t interested, but he couldn’t help but glance at the invitation. The cover’s content surprised him. It showed several racing cars speeding on a track, and one McLaren had a “Black Panther” logo on its hood. This was clearly an invitation to a racing club.

But the club didn’t matter—what mattered was that Black Panther totem!

His pupils shrank. He grabbed it and tore it open. Inside was a card with race information.

The event was in two weeks, located on the outskirts of the city. It even had the club’s address.

His parents had died when he was young. At the age of twelve, he had to work at a private club to support his family, keeping his autistic younger brother by his side to care for him.

Though his brother didn’t talk much, he was interested in racing.

But he never imagined that this very hobby would cause him to lose his only relative.

During a race, his brother pointed out that one team was cheating. That team held a grudge and kidnapped his brother while he was working. By the time he realized his brother was missing, it was too late.

Although he reported it to the police immediately, with the technology at the time, there were no clues left behind.

He had never given up searching over the years, but there had been no news. That team seemed to have been buried by capital, vanishing along with his brother.

And this Black Panther totem was the emblem of that team’s leader.

He never expected to see this logo again after so many years. Had those people… returned?

The hand holding the invitation trembled uncontrollably.

Qin Lou stared deathly at the racing logo, his eyes turning red. Fourteen years of hatred surged in his heart.

“So, want to go check it out? You’re a bodyguard, you drive every day; you must be interested in racing, right?”

Jiang Chuzhou was immersed in the thought of racing and didn’t notice Qin Lou’s abnormality. He looked at him expectantly.

“Where did you get this?!”

Qin Lou’s emotions suddenly spiked. His chest heaved. He had searched for so long.

Jiang Chuzhou didn’t expect such a big reaction, and his smile froze. “Wait, did you get over-excited?”

“Answer me!”

Qin Lou shouted, grabbing the other’s wrist tightly. If the Black Panther totem was from the same group of people, would there be news of his brother?!

Jiang Chuzhou had never seen him so urgent and serious. He was startled and answered honestly: “A—A friend gave it to me. He knows I like racing, so he got two invitations to this top-tier event. What’s wrong? Is there a problem? Why are you so excited?”

“A friend…”

Qin Lou narrowed his eyes, a chill rising. “Who is your friend? What’s his relationship with the McLaren team?”

“You’re hurting me!”

Jiang Chuzhou angrily pulled his hand back, glaring at Qin Lou. “My friend is the owner of this club. As for the McLaren team, I think it’s a team my friend just signed.”

“Who are the members? Do you have photos?”

Qin Lou asked urgently.

“Wow, you’re a fanatic? I don’t follow Black Panther, but I’ve taken a photo with them before.”

Jiang Chuzhou thought Qin Lou was a loyal fan of the team and teased: “I didn’t expect the arrogant Bodyguard Qin would be so passionate.”

“Stop talking nonsense.”

Qin Lou spoke with heavy emphasis, wanting nothing more than to rush to that club and avenge his brother right now.

“What’s the rush? Really. Let me look.”

Jiang Chuzhou took out his phone, scrolled through his album, and held a group photo in front of the man. He tapped his nose smugly, looking very conceited. “See? I can take photos with these racing stars whenever I want. If you want this kind of treatment, be my bodyguard. Forget Black Panther; I can get you photos with drivers from Red Bull, Mercedes, and Ferrari.”

While he buzzed like a fly beside him, Qin Lou didn’t hear a word. He took the phone and scanned every face in the photo.

But sadly, the drivers under the Black Panther name were all young and full of energy. The people from back then should be middle-aged by now.

How could this be…?

Every face was a stranger.

Was it just a coincidence they were called Black Panther?

But names could be repeated; totems were rarely identical!

These people must have something to do with the Black Panther from back then!

Seeing him stare at the photo, Jiang Chuzhou felt a bit jealous and snatched the phone back, saying arrogantly:

“Alright, staring at them won’t make them jump out of the screen. If you want to go, just say the word and be my bodyguard.”

“I will not betray President Shen.”

Qin Lou was as stubborn as ever. He wanted to find the culprit, but he wouldn’t forget his roots.

Jiang Chuzhou saw his unwavering stance and knew it was a lost cause. He said helplessly: “Fine, fine, fine. I can’t do anything with you. If you won’t do it, you won’t! Just don’t come begging me to see Black Panther later.”

“Take me to that club right now.”

“No way, you’re begging that fast?”

Jiang Chuzhou twitched his lip.

“Hurry up! I’m in a rush!”

Qin Lou’s brow was furrowed. He had been on edge since seeing that logo.

Jiang Chuzhou shrugged. “It’s not like you can see them just because you want to. Besides, they’re training elsewhere right now. You’ll have to wait a few days. They’ll be back in Nanshi for the race in a few days.”

Qin Lou’s eyes darkened.

He could only wait.

He had waited fourteen years. Three more days was nothing.

He had to find the person who took his brother.
