Transmigrating to the Primeval Forest to Have Cubs for a Natural Enemy Chapter 2.1

Chapter 2: Transformation! Beauty Snake part 1

The eagle let out an angry cry in the air, then accelerated its dive, wanting to catch him before he hit the ground.

He was falling very fast. Yu She’s brain actually had the spare time to plug in physics formulas to estimate the time until impact. The biting wind scraped against his body, hurting a bit.

From this height, he estimated he would burst into a bloody flower. A snake’s life is unpredictable! Who could have guessed he’d return to his original planned method of death—falling! What did this prove? That as long as you have a goal in your heart, you’ll achieve it sooner or later??

His mind wandered chaotically. He estimated he had at most ten seconds left. His newly transformed snake life was going to end here.

But… what was up with this eagle? Why was it trying so hard to save him? Why… why didn’t it dodge?

The wild beast continued its attack on the eagle, but the eagle didn’t dodge or evade, taking the hit head-on. Its blood even splattered onto Yu She’s body.

Yu She knew that the vertical distance was the shortest. If the eagle dodged, it would be even less likely to catch him. But weren’t they natural enemies? What a silly eagle.

He glanced at the fruits falling alongside him. These were also picked by the eagle because it saw he liked eating them. This eagle was really strange.

Perhaps the eagle’s desperate attempt to save him made him realize his life was still quite precious, or perhaps at this moment, a will to survive was born within him. He was only twenty-three! Who knew if he’d even have a next life? And even if there truly was one, it was a distant future. What if he turned into something even more miserable? It would be worse than now.

In that case… he should try his best to live. He didn’t want to die either. He wanted to reach the claws the eagle was extending to grab him. This eagle, who broke the food chain to save its natural enemy, gave him an inexplicable courage.

This sudden, intense desire caused something in his mind to open its floodgates, surging forth.

Beads of water emerged around him, slowing his falling body. His upper snake body gradually transformed into a human torso. Pale hands just barely managed to grab the eagle’s claws.

For a moment, both the eagle and Yu She were stunned. Yu She looked at his hands in shock. He had turned into a human! He had hands!

A lot of inherited information appeared in his mind, but the wild beast pouncing through the air made him realize this was clearly not the time to digest it. He leaped onto the eagle’s back, his blue vertically slit pupils coldly glaring at the approaching beast.

He’d just use it for target practice. Yu She flicked his tongue to sense the beast’s position, drew out the moisture in the beast’s inevitable path, and condensed it into sharp ice cones. The beast was too fast; unable to stop in time due to momentum, it crashed into the sharp ice cones at high speed, smashing its head open and dying instantly.

After confirming the beast was truly dead, Yu She lay weakly on the eagle’s back. He had just mastered this ability and wasn’t proficient at using it, consuming a lot of energy.

Gasping for air, he sorted through the inheritance in his mind. So, those who could turn into humans were called beastmen. Among beastmen, those with extraordinary talent who received heaven’s blessing would possess supernatural abilities. For instance, he could control water and form ice. He excitedly swung the snake tail of his lower body, but momentarily paused… uh… he was still a minor now and couldn’t fully turn into a human, only able to maintain this half-human, half-snake form.

But this still made him very happy. He thought he’d be a reptile for the rest of his life, but he didn’t expect his luck to turn around, actually giving him a chance to be human again. He swore that this time he would definitely be a good person… be a good half-person.

The eagle’s wing was still bleeding and wouldn’t hold out much longer. It found a relatively safe place and landed.

Yu She jumped down, wriggled his tail to the eagle’s side, and raised his hand to gently sweep it over the eagle’s wound. A layer of ice instantly formed, stopping the bleeding.

He stroked the eagle’s wing. “Your bone was showing. Other eagles can see for over thirty kilometers, yet you didn’t even notice this thing shoved right in your face.”

The eagle squawked at him once, but he didn’t understand bird language, so he ignored it.

He saw the eagle tilt its head, then, as if remembering something, lowered its head and brought its wings together.

“The fruits all fell away.”

Could this really be an idiot? Its wing was almost broken, and it was still thinking about the fruits.

Wait, how could he understand what the eagle was saying?

Yu She looked up in astonishment at the person in front of him. So the eagle was also a beastman! Beastmen counted as humans too, right? With not a single person in this primeval forest, he had been worried that before he was even eaten by wild beasts, his mental health would break down first. Now discovering that the eagle could communicate with him, he was thrilled.

He wanted to see what the eagle looked like as a human. He was half-blind; beyond one meter, his eyes only saw colors. Beyond two meters, he couldn’t distinguish male from female. Beyond ten meters, he couldn’t tell humans from animals apart.

Anything further and he could only see a vague outline. He grumbled in his heart, but his person had already leaned in close. Only when he was right up against him did he realize he was a shorty; he only reached the eagle’s chest and couldn’t see his face at all.

But he was truly too curious. In novels and TV dramas, didn’t demons look beautiful when they transformed into humans? He couldn’t see his own face, but using the eagle as a standard would give him a rough idea.

After a brief thought, he raised his arms and hugged the eagle’s neck. Using his waist, he wrapped his tail around the eagle’s waist once and then coiled it around his leg. Cupping the eagle’s face, his vertical pupils carefully inspected his features.

He had the same gold-ringed pupils as his beast form, a tall nose bridge, long black hair the color of feathers, and slightly wheat-colored skin that formed a sharp contrast with Yu She’s paleness. The waist and legs wrapped by the snake tail felt brimming with power.

Out of male competitiveness, he secretly glanced downward. Good heavens, didn’t they say birds lacked in that department? This thing was as thick as his wrist! He didn’t know which female eagle would be so unlucky; doing that deed would poke them silly.

He secretly teased him a few times in his heart.

He jealously felt the eagle’s pectoral muscles a couple of times, then looked down at his own thin chest and arms that resembled two hemp stalks with some unfairness. Who knew what he looked like? Would he be very ugly? The eagle was so handsome; if he looked ugly next to him, wouldn’t he lose a lot of face?

After muttering in his heart, he let out a chuckle. Where would people even come from to look at them here?

“Should we go back and pick fruits?”

The eagle supported Yu She’s bottom to prevent him from falling.

Yu She glanced at his bloodied shoulder and rolled his eyes, cursing “Idiot” in his heart.

“I’m not eating them! You can’t even fly injured like this.”

“Then wait until my wound heals, and I’ll go pick some for you.”

The eagle looked at Yu She’s feminine and beautiful face, thinking to himself that he seemed to be a female beastman. He had never heard of a female like this before, but this female was truly beautiful. He just looked so fragile; with a little force, he could break his bones. He was so pale—his body was pale, his hair was white, and looking closely, even his eyelashes were white.

He thought, in the future, he must definitely tell his descendants not to throw away ugly females immediately, but to raise them for a bit first.

The eagle’s gaze swept down Yu She’s body, seemingly assessing something, which made Yu She’s hair stand on end.

After looking for a while, he raised a hand and touched Yu She’s fair, flat lower abdomen.

The touch sent a shiver down Yu She’s spine. He smacked the claw away with a “slap” and glared at him fiercely: “What are you doing?”

The eagle didn’t answer, just frowned in deep thought for a moment. His belly was so small, and his waist was so thin; he could almost grip it with one hand. Would it be able to hold their egg in the future? Recalling the appearance of the pregnant females in the tribe, he felt a bit worried.

Seeing him stay silent and looking deep in thought, Yu She felt creeped out. He quickly changed the subject.

“I don’t want to eat fruits every day. I want to eat meat.”
