Chapter 80: If He Really Flirted, Would He Even Survive?
After the military training review, the formation dispersed in an instant.
Qiao Fangyu didn’t have classes this afternoon, so he had arrived early. He stood with Ning Qian on the sidelines, watching Yu Deng practice his punches.
Yu Dengâs boxing… well, how should one put it? It was hard to describe.
Hearing the command to dismiss, Qiao Fangyu quickly stepped forward with the water he had prepared. He also wiped Yu Dengâs sweat, fanned him, and applied some menthol balm.
Regardless of how Zhou Yuejun used to do things, Qiao Fangyu followed suit perfectly, not daring to slack off at all.
Yu Deng took a gulp of the iced sour plum soup. Only then did his dry lips become a bit more supple and tender red. He even smacked them twiceâhow could he not be enticing?
His Adam’s apple wasn’t large; it was very small. His slender swan-like neck bobbed as he swallowedâmore cute than sexy.
Qiao Fangyu also couldn’t stop his own Adam’s apple from rolling. âDrink slowly, donât choke.â
By comparison, he was the one who felt more parched.
Yu Dengâs cheeks were coated in a thin layer of sweat. After Qiao Fangyu wiped it away, a flush remained, making his features look exceptionally magnificent.
Ning Qian couldn’t help but let out a snort of laughter. His handsome face carried a grin, but there was no mockeryâonly lingering affection.
Yu Dengâs already weary, delicate brows furrowed. He began to bare his teeth and glare at him with indignant resentment.
âWhat are you laughing at? Is it that funny?â
âYouâre mocking me too, arenât you?!â
He had a bit of that “young calf” energy.
The little cannon fodder was furious, thinking Ning Qian was laughing at how ridiculous his punches looked.
He knew he had no strength. His fists were soft when he swung them, and he was shorter than the others when he kicked.
What looked clean and crisp when others did it seemed sluggish and frantic when he did it.
In short, it was just clumsy.
Many people had said that to him over the past few days, and Yu Deng was embarrassed to death.
Ning Qian didnât dare make Yu Deng angry and quickly apologized. âNo, I just think Dengdeng is very cute.â
As soon as he said the word “cute,” even before Yu Deng could react, Ning Qianâs own face flushed and he felt restless.
He really was cute.
Qiao Fangyu gave a fake smile, letting out a “heh” of disdain.
If he had known it would be like this, he should have celebrated his birthday twice and invited Yu Deng alone; that way, Yu Deng wouldn’t be pestered by Ning Qian now.
Yu Deng had just lifted the hem of his shirt a bit, revealing a sliver of soft white skin, when the terrified Qiao Fangyu quickly pressed Yu Dengâs hand down.
âNo, no, noâdonât lift it. There are too many people around.â
He thought Yu Deng was like those street thugs who would lift their shirts to expose their bellies.
But Yu Deng lifting his shirt wasn’t an eyesore; it would only allow others to take advantage of him.
Yu Deng was so fair and tenderâlike a little pearl with a pinkish glow. Once he exposed that luster, he would surely attract many malicious, covetous gazes.
Yu Dengâs shirt was damp with sweat and clinging to his skin, which was very uncomfortable. He wanted to pull it away to let some air in, but Qiao Fangyu was pressing him down.
In an instant, the spoiled boy, already irritable from the heat, lost his temper.
âWhat are you doing?!â
âIâm soaked through. I need to let some air in.â
So it was for the breeze.
Qiao Fangyu managed an embarrassed smile and immediately started pulling the front and back of Yu Dengâs shirt to help him, while also soothing him.
âIâll help you. Dengdeng, donât be angry.â
Yu Deng wasn’t actually that angry. That was just his personalityâa bit loud and prone to grumbling if something didn’t go his way.
Suddenly, Yu Dengâs pupils constricted and he let out a cry of alarm. âQiao Fangyu, you have a nosebleed!â
A streak of red blood was flowing from Qiao Fangyuâs nostril, nearly reaching his mouth.
Qiao Fangyu had felt a vague stuffiness and warmth in his nasal cavity just now, along with a wet sensation. Only when Yu Deng shouted did he realize what was happening.
He quickly wiped his nose with his hand; both his index finger and the back of his hand were stained with blood.
Yu Deng was startled, his mind going blank. He only heard Jian Ling saying, âQuick, quickâhelp him over to the flowerbed to sit down.â
The group moved frantically, helping Qiao Fangyu sit before handing him tissues and water.
Qiao Fangyu felt like he was about to faint, because Yu Deng was the one wiping his nosebleed. Yu Dengâs fingers would brush against his face, and he was so close.
A flawless face was right before his eyes.
Yu Deng was beautiful. His features were refined, and the corners of his eyes always carried a hint of spring. His dark eyes shimmered with fine light, looking as innocent as a seeping spring.
His soft lips were slightly pursed, and the watery luster of his lip pearl was sweet and enticingâlike a berry, tempting one to pluck it to quench their thirst.
The fragrance was refreshing, clearing the metallic scent of blood from Qiao Fangyuâs nose and mouth. It was sweeter and thicker than usual, awakening every cell in his body.
It seemed that if he moved just a bit forward, he could kiss him.
A little Bodhisattva.
âWhy is it still flowing?â
Yu Deng watched the blood that kept gushing out. He had wiped it several times but couldn’t get it dry, and he grew more and more panicked.
âQiao Fangyu, why do you have so much internal heat?â
Ning Qian couldn’t stand it anymore and lightly shoved Yu Deng aside. âAlright, let me do it.â
If he let Yu Deng continue and let Qiao Fangyu enjoy this any longer, Qiao Fangyuâs blood would probably spray out.
Looking at Qiao Fangyuâs obsessed face, he really wanted to slap him.
But if that slap were delivered by Yu Deng, Qiao Fangyu would probably enjoy it even more than he was now.
Pervert!
He wasn’t even afraid of scaring people.
Fortunately, once Ning Qian took over, the bleeding was quickly stopped.
Ning Qian rolled his eyes at Qiao Fangyu and let out a snort of contempt.
To avoid further embarrassment, the bright red Qiao Fangyu could only plug his nostril with a tissue.
The weather was truly scorching; it felt like being roasted over a fire.
Jian Ling couldn’t take it either and nudged Yu Deng with his elbow. âLetâs go back to the dorm and shower first.â
After military training, he definitely had to change his clothes and a shower would be comfortable.
On the way back to the dorm, Yu Deng was still quite concerned about Qiao Fangyuâs nose.
âWhy is your health so poor? Iâve been in the sun every day and I havenât had a nosebleed.â
Ning Qian remarked with sarcastic mockery, âPoor health? He just has too much fire with nowhere to release it.â
Qiao Fangyu, looking like a boiled crab, didn’t dare respond.
He had a dirty mindâwho could he blame?
Yu Deng had some hot water left in his thermos, but there were too many people showering in the restrooms. It was crowded; one look and youâd see a sea of heads and bodies.
Yu Deng felt like he was going blind.
He felt ashamed about exposing his body and about looking at others, so he planned to go later.
Besides, he heard from Jian Ling that some boys would touch each other because they were close.
Touch each other?
If they weren’t a couple, why would you touch someone elseâs body?
Zhou Yuejun…
He and Zhou Yuejun were a couple, but he didn’t like touching Zhou Yuejun.
Yu Deng was shy, and also afraid.
When he didn’t touch Zhou Yuejun, the manâs desire was already explosive. If he really flirted with him, what would happen?
Would he even survive?
Besides, Zhou Yuejunâs muscles were hard and his skin was rough; it wasn’t comfortable to touch.
On the other hand, Zhou Yuejun loved to cradle his belly. Touching the flesh was one thing, but sometimes he would even maliciously press down on it.
He did it on purpose so he could see the shape.
Qiao Fangyu found some board games at Yu Dengâs desk. âDengdeng, letâs play for a bit.â
Yu Deng had many of Qiao Fangyu and the others’ things at his place.
Yu Deng and Jian Ling weren’t in a hurry, so they played Monopoly in the dorm with Qiao Fangyu and Ning Qian.
The other roommates were going home for the weekend. They packed their things and said their goodbyes one by one.
Yang An also had to go home because he had to help harvest corn. Before leaving, he called out to Yu Deng again.
âYu Deng, are you really not going back to your hometown?â
Yu Deng was in the middle of his excitement. How could he want to be disturbed? He threw the dice to move his piece and shook his head like a rattle.
âIâm not going. My home is just outside the school.â
Yang An knew that Zhou Yuejun came to see Yu Deng almost every day, acting like an older brotherâor more like… a laborer.
But Yu Deng had a rural household registration, so Yang An guessed that Zhou Yuejun had come out to work to support Yu Dengâs education.
Yet Yu Deng had only just started university and was already associating with these questionable people.
He didn’t put his heart into the right path and instead stayed close to those profligate sons of the wealthy. All day long, he only knew how to eat, drink, and play.
Yu Deng had only been out for a short while and had already been completely corrupted by the big city, forgetting where his roots were.
