Chapter 103: Chi Yuheng is the Number One Most Handsome in the World, Thank You
The backup password Ye Ran had previously set had been rejected by Chi Yuheng.
There was nothing else wrong with it; it was just too much of a ‘asking for a beating’ kind of password.
Every word and sentence danced on the edge of his boyfriend’s bottom line in frantic provocation.
Later, to coax his man, Ye Ran had simply changed both passwords. At the time of setting them, he hadn’t imagined he would one day have a use for them.
It was a bit sappy, but as long as it worked—whether for coaxing someone or saving a life—it was fine.

This sudden sentence from Ye Muqing left Ye Ran unsure of how to react.
After a long while, Ye Ran spoke up, “Ye Muqing, I’ve been kidnapped by Ming He. Can you kill him?”
Ye Muqing: “…”
Damn! Spoke too soon!
The solemnity on his face instantly cracked. He paused before bracing himself to smooth over his words. “After we get out, I’ll deal with him then.”
Fine, as long as he wasn’t being driven by the plot to want to kill him, it was fine.
Ye Ran gazed at the phone, his tone carrying a bit of uncertainty. “I wonder if he can receive it.”
This was his first time using this software and he hadn’t tried it before. He didn’t know if Chi Yuheng could receive the location he sent, or if he would know he was kidnapped in a place like this.
About ten minutes later, the familiar mechanical female voice rang out again, breaking the dead silence.

Ye Ran’s eyes widened instantly.
Chi Yuheng had received it!
He practically straightened his back immediately, his gaze fixed intensely on the tightly closed iron door.
He could almost see the scene of Chi Yuheng rushing in to save him.
The phone continued its voice broadcast.

Every broadcast represented the distance Chi Yuheng was closing toward him.

There were raspy shouts, the sharp clanging of metal, and the muffled thuds of fists hitting flesh intertwined. Clearly, a massive brawl had already broken out.
Ye Ran’s gaze was glued to that door.

With a deafening crash, the door was kicked open violently from the outside. The crisp sound of the hinges breaking mixed with the thud of the wooden planks hitting the floor as dust billowed everywhere.
A tall silhouette rushed in against the light. Ye Ran blurted out almost by instinct, “Chi Yuheng!”

The person walked toward him with quick steps, still carrying a lingering ferocity and a faint scent of blood. Yet, the voice that spoke was an unfamiliar deep bass. “Young Master Ye, I’ll get you out of here.”
Ye Ran: “…”
He had shouted too quickly and caused an awkward mistake.
The person who came wasn’t Chi Yuheng; it was the bodyguard by his side.
He stepped forward with agile steps to untie the ropes on Ye Ran. When his gaze fell on Ye Muqing, who was tied back-to-back with Ye Ran, his movements paused.
The bodyguard usually spent a long time at the Chi residence and had seen everyone from the Chi family, but he had never seen Ye Muqing. Even if he was tied together with Ye Ran, the bodyguard remained very vigilant.
While untying the ropes, he asked, “Who is this person?”
Ye Ran cooperated by shaking off the loosened ropes. “He’s also a bad person…”
