Chapter 102: Husband, I Really Want to Kiss You
Ye Ran quickly identified whose voice it was.
His brows furrowed. “Ye Muqing, you actually kidnapped me!”
The person was clearly stunned, and a hint of helplessness entered his voice. “I can’t even protect myself; how could I kidnap you?”
Ye Ran: “???”
What was the situation?
Just then, someone walked in front of him and abruptly yanked the hood off his head.
The intense light made Ye Ran instantly unable to open his eyes. He subconsciously squinted, and only after adapting to the light did he see the situation before him clearly.

He was kidnapped just as an ‘along the way’ extra? He was kidnapped that easily?
He felt humiliated.
Ming He couldn’t be bothered to pay attention to Ye Muqing. He turned his gaze toward Ye Ran, and at some point, a finger blade appeared between his fingertips, which he toyed with.
“My parents had an accident years ago. Ming Qingyan took advantage of my youth to snatch our family assets, leaving me to grow up like a stray dog outside. She only remembers me when it’s time for dirty work like kidnapping.”
“She thinks that because I’m a gambler, I’ll do anything she says for money. She wanted me to kidnap you to force you to sign the contract with the Ye Group. She never imagined I’d kidnap her own biological son along with you.”
Ye Ran managed to untangle part of the situation from Ming He’s words.
Ming He shared a blood relation with Ming Qingyan and had been asked by her to kidnap Ye Ran.
But in reality, Ming He was an uncontrollable chess piece who held a grudge against her. That was why he had kidnapped Ye Muqing while kidnapping him—it was to retaliate against Ming Qingyan.
Villains truly get ground down by other villains.
Ye Ran let out a scoffing laugh. “If you really want to retaliate against Ming Qingyan, you don’t need to kidnap me at all. You could have just kidnapped both of her sons.”
Ye Muqing blinked upon hearing this, his face full of bitterness. “We are born of the same root; why be so eager to fry each other?”
Ye Ran glanced at him indifferently. “Not born of the same root.”

That was also the truth.
The finger blade in Ming He’s grip spun faster, glinting coldly under the dim yellow light, making the scar on his face look even more sinister.
“You’re right. I truly didn’t need to kidnap you. But the feeling of someone caring and worrying about you is truly nice.”
“Let’s make a bet. Let’s bet whether Ming Qingyan finds Ye Muqing first, or Chi Yuheng finds you first.”
