After the Divorce, the Paranoid CEO Begs for a HE with His Life Chapter 64

Chapter 64: How Could You Be So Vicious

“Open the door.”

Ji Songting tilted his head to signal the driver to step forward. He then shifted his gaze to the arm clutching him, raising an eyebrow slightly. His eyes turned probing and playful as he said meaningfully:

“Let go. These are two separate matters. Since I promised to bring you to see your mother, I will definitely make sure you get a good look at her.”

Jian An felt a strange, underlying meaning in those words, but he didn’t have time to think about it. The moment the door opened, he immediately rushed inside, his eyes frantically scanning the room.

The private room was exceptionally loud, and the smell of alcohol and smoke was no better than outside. Several people were crowded around the last row of tables, gleefully watching the spectacle.

And the instigator from the phone call was laughing uproariously among the crowd, continuously spewing curses and banging on the floor, cheering on the woman’s heart-wrenching screams.

“Mom! Let go of my mom!”

Jian An screamed at the top of his lungs, desperately shoving his way through the crowd, only to witness the most nightmarish scene of his life.

Zhou Manxiang lay sprawled on the floor, her clothes torn and disheveled, her hair a filthy, tangled mess. The elegant and luxurious demeanor she usually carried was entirely gone.

Her face appeared to have been slashed multiple times; it was a mottled mess of blood, still bleeding profusely.

A dog collar was fastened around her neck, and her wrists and ankles were bound in iron shackles. Her blood-stained nails dug bloody streaks into the floor. She looked exactly like an abandoned, stray bitch.

“Ahhhhh! My face…!”

Zhou Manxiang suddenly lifted her head, her eyes blood-red. Filled with hatred and murderous intent, she glared at the man standing before her. Her voice was hoarse as she shrieked:

“Why did you ruin my face? Do you know how much this face means to me? Let me tell you, even if I become a ghost, I won’t let you off! I’ll make sure you never find peace in your next life!”

With that, she planted her hands on the floor, trying to push herself up, but a leather-clad foot stomped viciously onto her back. The long dog leash attached to her neck was yanked back hard.

At the sudden tightening, Zhou Manxiang’s red and swollen neck snapped backward instinctively. Her pupils violently contracted, her hands and feet trembled, and her mouth gaped open.

Even so, she couldn’t breathe. The feeling of suffocation grew stronger by the second. It felt as if a heavy, dark cloud loomed over her, and her vision went entirely blurry.

“Let… let go… let go…”

Zhou Manxiang’s usually shrewish voice was now weak and raspy, sounding agonizing, as if her throat was being crushed.

“Oh, why aren’t you trying to seduce anyone anymore?”

A frivolous, lewd remark sounded by her ear. The voice dripped with thick, vile lust, inciting immediate disgust.

Zhou Manxiang stared in terror at the towering, scar-faced man before her. She shrieked:

“You… please let me go. I won’t dare do it again! I’ll never dare again… Please, have mercy, boss!”

The scar-faced man roughly lifted her chin with a metal pipe. A dark, ruthless glint shone in his eyes. Hearing Zhou Manxiang’s pleas, he let out a disdainful scoff:

“You actually had the guts to cheat right under my nose? Tired of living, are we?! You want to die, is that it?”

Hearing this, Zhou Manxiang’s cowardly fear of death was instantly laid bare on her face. A trace of despair flashed in her eyes. The more she struggled, the harder she was stomped on.

Looking at the sinister-faced man before her, her lips quivered as she unyieldingly argued:

“Let me off this one time! I… I just had a moment of confusion… that’s why I… I cheated…”

As soon as the words left her mouth, the man delivered a savage kick to her chest. A tearing, agonizing pain radiated in waves from her abdomen; she felt as if her intestines had been smashed into pieces.

A shrill, utterly tragic scream echoed through the private room, but the onlookers only grew more excited.

Witnessing this horrific scene, Jian An’s mind went blank for several seconds. He couldn’t believe that the woman groveling on the floor a short distance away…

Was the mother he had sacrificed his life to honor!

All the strength instantly drained from his body. His mind was a chaotic mess, as if filled with glue, unable to form a single thought. He instinctively tried to rush forward, but Xiao Wang stood behind him, restraining him so firmly he couldn’t move an inch.

“Don’t stop me… I need to save my mom!”

Tears streamed down Jian An’s face as he desperately twisted his body, trying to break free. Watching his own mother being brutalized while he was utterly powerless made his heart ache fiercely.

He turned his head to look at the impassive Ji Songting. Ceasing his struggles, he pleaded brokenly:

“Didn’t you say you’d save my mom? She’s in danger now. I’m begging you, go save her…!”

Yet, Ji Songting merely offered a slight, profound smirk. Standing in the optimal spot to view the slaughterhouse, with one hand tucked in his pocket, he leisurely observed the scene unfolding before him.

His unsmiling demeanor harbored a hint of madness. He clicked his tongue, seemingly slightly dissatisfied with the scar-faced man’s brutal methods, yet also showing a trace of amusement.

Seeing him offer no response, Jian An began to panic. He was so anxious he was practically losing his voice. His reddened eyes stared dead at the man, wishing he could see right through him.

Suddenly, as if he understood something, his lips parted. Shaking his head in disbelief, he questioned through his sobs:

“What… what exactly are you trying to do?! Were you lying to me all along?! Didn’t you say you wouldn’t break your word? Ji Songting, how could you be… so vicious!”

He screamed the last sentence, his voice tearing. Tears rolled down like broken pearls, scalding his own hands, searing his heart, and piercing his very soul.

An intense surge of hatred welled up within him, pressing down on him like a towering mountain. Every passing second crushed his chest, leaving him breathless and in agonizing pain!

Ji Songting narrowed his eyes at him, hostility radiating from him. His handsome face was like a sculpture, completely devoid of expression. Even the slight amusement from a moment ago had vanished without a trace.

The word “vicious” echoed relentlessly in his ears, striking his heart like a heavy blow. Even his breathing hitched for a split second.

In the next second, bloodshot veins crept into Ji Songting’s eyes. His gaze blazed with undisguised fury, and a terrifying violence rolled off him. He spat out viciously:

“Yes, I said I’d bring you to see your mother, but I never agreed to save her. You’re just too naive.”

Hearing this, Jian An felt as if a thunderbolt had exploded right above his head. For a moment, his throat felt blocked, and he couldn’t utter a word. His wet eyes were filled with pain, terror, and a laughable sense of disbelief.

He stared at the floor, gritting his teeth, too terrified to cast another glance at Zhou Manxiang. He gave a self-deprecating laugh: “You’re right. I am naive. I’m stupid for believing your words time and time again…”

In the past, he had always trusted Ji Songting implicitly. Whatever the man said, he believed. But now, he didn’t know how to trust anymore…

Ji Songting froze, an unspeakable complexity crossing his face. His voice turned icy, devoid of any emotional fluctuation:

“Some people truly need to be punished and taught a lesson.”

With that, he cast a sideways glance at the youth beside him, then shifted his gaze back to the scene ahead, saying with paranoid intensity:

“She treated you terribly. She treated you like a dog. Shouldn’t you hate her? Now, watching her being bullied and tortured by others, shouldn’t you feel satisfied?”

Hearing this, Jian An abruptly snapped his head up. The terror and bewilderment in his eyes were indescribable. His voice trembled:

“No matter how badly she treats me, she’s still my mom… I just won’t let others bully her… The way you’re acting makes me feel like you’re no different from a lunatic!”

Only now did he realize that the gentle, jade-like youth from his memories had died in the sea four years ago. The one standing before him now was nothing but a monster.

Even more terrifying than a nightmare.

For a fleeting second, the man he had loved deeply for ten years suddenly felt jarringly unfamiliar.

“Lunatic?”

Ji Songting asked with amusement, a faint yet icy smile on his face. Without a word, he reached out and grabbed Jian An’s face, forcing him to look at Zhou Manxiang. His voice was as cold as a blade of ice:

“Then take a good look over there. Tell me, am I the crazy one, or are those people crazier!”

Forced to lift his head, Jian An’s eyes were dull and lifeless. But the moment his gaze met the scene before him, he recoiled in violent shock, completely forgetting to even struggle.

On the other side, Zhou Manxiang was in a state beyond description. Covered in blood and wounds, an unidentified liquid clung to her cheeks. She had soiled herself, evidently having lost control out of sheer terror.

A man was gripping her hair from behind, forcing her mouth open. She couldn’t even force a scream from her throat anymore.

Then, the scar-faced man burst into wild, arrogant laughter, exposing a mouth full of yellow teeth. His greasy face gleamed. In the next second, he shockingly took off his shoe and sock.

Amidst the jeering crowd, he lifted his foul-smelling, hairy toe and lewdly thrust it into Zhou Manxiang’s mouth, stirring it slowly a few times.

The warm, wet sensation from her mouth sent a pleasurable shiver through the scar-faced man. Feeling as though he were floating, he twisted his foot with even more force and leered:

“Stinky bitch, does your granddaddy’s foot taste good?”

Someone in the crowd suddenly yelled out: “What’s the fun in a foot? Switch it up to something else~ hahaha!”

The scar-faced man instantly caught the meaning. Though tempted, he forced himself to hold back, laughing in reply:

“Piss off! Have you no shame! You do it then!”

“Mmph… mmph!”

A vile, reeking stench spread through her mouth. Tears streamed down Zhou Manxiang’s face. She whimpered incoherently, unable to endure such inhuman torture.

Her stomach churned violently, a sickening wave of nausea washing over her. She wanted to throw up, but her mouth was stuffed tight. She could only let out muffled moans, her body convulsing violently.

“Mmph… blegh…”

A wave of intense discomfort rose in her throat. Unable to hold it back any longer, sour bile mixed with stomach acid rushed up to her throat, only to be swallowed back down. Her body felt entirely hollowed out.

This sensation was pure torture!
